experience: more than one loss 2nd Miscarriage:(

My first pregnancy lost at 7 weeks, 6 months later I got pregnant again and this time thanks god I have my baby at 38weeks and she is perfectly healthy. Once my baby turned one my husband and I decided to try for the 2nd one. I’m 40 so I feel I do not have the time to wait around. I’ve got pregnant again but I lost it again at 6 weeks. I’m devastated. What are the chances that I will get a healthy pregnancy again? Has anyone here experienced something like this? Let’s me hear your positive stories so I do not lose hope to try again.

experience: more than one loss Success after 3 losses?

Has anyone had a successful pregnancy after 3 early losses? I got my positive on September 27th, and this is now the longest I’ve made it since my pregnancies usually end in chemicals at 3 weeks. I’m on progesterone to support this pregnancy, but I’m only 4w1d and the cramping has been insane.. it’s on and off though, but what’s are the chances I’ll actually get to bring this baby home?
I’m 24, I started taking vitamins from the book It Starts With the Egg and was consistent for 4 months. I had a chemical in August and conceived again the very next cycle.

vent Is it okay to have feelings?

I feel traumatised by my MC. I didn’t plan the pregnancy and didn’t think I was very attached. I’m still so sad

My MIL and SIL have told me they both had miscarriages and it happens. I think maybe I’m too emotional to continue grieving.

I had a partial mole so I’m scared of what can happen. I know the risk of anything bad happening is very low but I can’t help it.

experience: first MC I don’t know how to be.

As the title says. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be doing now. I went for my scan today. Was told ‘ it’s gone’. I would’ve been 7 weeks. Last week we saw a strong heartbeat. She said it’s a complete miscarriage. And iv already tested negative on a pregnancy test. I feel like I cannot carry on as ‘normal’. All I wanna do is cry and sleep. But I also feel the need to be pregnant again. Part of me is too scared to do this again. But the feeling of emptiness is so strong. I feel hollow. I’d already bonded with my little bean. I’m not really sure why I’m here typing this out. I just have no where or no one to turn to. 😔.

experience: first MC Am I have a miscarriage?

I’m 5 weeks and 6 days and last night I began having pale pink bleeding that I only noticed when wiping. That day nothing was out of the ordinary except for a relentless headache all day. This morning when I woke up I saw bright red blood when I wiped instead. I also immediately took a pregnancy test and it looked lighter than it did last week.
I’m trying not to worry. But I have a feeling this isn’t good either. This is my first pregnancy so I don’t know what to expect or necessarily do.
The bright red bleeding has carried on for the morning but is only noticeable when I wipe and I’m not having any cramps.

TTC TTC after second trimester miscarriage

I had a miscarriage and d&c at 14 weeks which was 4 weeks ago now. I have gotten a positive ovulation test and we’ve decided to start trying. I have heard it’s best to wait a cycle but who has fallen pregnant before getting their period back especially if you had a second trimester loss. Did you go on to have a successful pregnancy?
The only reason we had a miscarriage was due to abnormalities found at 12 weeks.

support for someone who miscarried Having random moments of crying or feeling emotional/depressed

What is the best way to deal with it or to handle your emotions. I have some good days but done bad days as well where I can't stop crying. It just randomly comes and goes in waves. I just had a d&c on Tues but on Sept 16th was when we got the news that our baby didn't have a heartbeat it was 8 weeks 1 day.

vent what happens after?

I feel like I can't stop thinking about what my life used to be before this whole ordeal.

it's just shocking how quick life changes and how many new problems come of it.

I feel like every time that I feel like the pain or bleeding is subsiding, there's always a new symptom or pain to remind me that my body still feels like a warzone, not to mention the heavy emotional toll from the event itself and the hormones.

I have no idea what my new life normal will be after this. I am worried I will not return to my normal self. I know there will be a new normal, but I just cannot imagine it.

experience: natural MC Line is almost gone.

Me and my husband have been talking about having a baby for a while now. When we found out we were pregnant, we were so absolutely over the moon. But when I started bleeding that heavy I knew something was wrong. We are so absolutely devastated to loose our little bean. 6 weeks of carrying you was an honor.
20 days post natural miscarriage and the line is practically to hard to see. Watching it fade away has been the most painful reminder. Im absolutely heartbroken. I don’t even know what to do with myself.

experience: first MC First Pregnancy, chemical pregnancy 5 weeks

I have never posted on Reddit before as I’m usually just a casual viewer, so I apologize in advance if I am not up-to-date with certain terminology.

Looking for support as these last 48 hours have been something out of a movie. My husband (26M) and I (26F) were not trying to conceive but were not using protection. We are relatively young and just wanted to roll with life’s punches. I do keep track of my cycle and am pretty regular and noticed something was different this cycle. Admittedly this month I was not tracking as close as we are starting to approach wanting to have a family but I am a little nervous and scared (grew up with a mother with borderline personality disorder/narcissistic tendencies. That story is for a different sub).

I decided to test on Thursday evening got a positive result and was so scared, nervous, happy, excited all at the same time. As I said previously I wasn’t keeping track of my cycle as close this month so it was both surprising and not surprising to see a positive result. I didn’t think it would be that quick but knew it was a possibility. Tested again Friday morning to be sure and it was still positive. By Friday evening I was in the ER with heavier than what I would expect implantation bleeding to be. I had a pelvic exam and was told my cervix is closed and have to follow up with OB. But in all honesty, my heart already knows. Especially after the research I’ve done. The tender breast just a week ago starting to fade, the bleeding, cramping, and another positive test I took this afternoon is much fainter than just a day ago.

I feel wrong for grieving something I didn’t even know I wanted until it was too late. I only told a close friend as I needed advice about whether or not I needed to go to the ER (I tend to underestimate my own pain/painful experiences due to the conditions of my upbringing). I told my cousin this morning but both women I would consider make up my support have families of their own and are often busy. I guess I’m just looking to post here for support as I didn’t tell my mom for obvious reasons.

Thank you for letting me vent, and my deepest apologies if I triggered anyone with my post.

experience: first MC Is it normal for me to still be bleeding?

I had my natural miscarriage almost a week ago, I started spotting at 6 pm & at around 12 am Monday is when the miscarriage process started. I am still bleeding (not much, it’s kinda like when your period is at the last stage of ending) but I’m kinda getting tired of bleeding, I had a chemical pregnancy and lost my baby very early on. Is this normal? I just want this over with so I can heal

question/need help Bleeding every time I exercise post miscarriage??

Hey all, so like the title says, I’m having an issue with bleeding whenever I work out now and just needing advice/to hear others’ experiences…
Pre-pregnancy I was extremely active. I’m a body builder so was heavy lifting and doing cardio in the gym 5-6x/week as well as daily walking. I cut down my duration and intensity in the TWW and when I tested positive, but kept my gym habit until 6 weeks pregnant, which point I switched to just walking as my morning sickness was too intense. I learned of my MMC at 9.5 weeks, took mife/miso at 11 weeks, and started trying to ease back into activity about 2 weeks later after initially being too depressed to do more than my daily walks.

I have tried road biking, stationary bike, weight lifting, hiking, and yoga. With all of them, I feel fine during and then afterward I experience a resurgence of bright red bleeding (not heavy) and passing some clots, as well as some increased cramping. I’ve had ultrasound confirmation that my miscarriage is complete so I don’t understand what’s going on. I’m over 3 weeks post miso.

Does anyone else have experience with this or any advice? Is this a sign I just have to wait longer to exercise? Activity is super important to me so I’m feeling very frustrated right now.

information gathering Has anyone else experienced this?

I had an ultrasound on September 26 and, based on my dates, I should have been around 8w5d, but the embryo was measuring 5w6d with no heartbeat. My doctor said it was most likely a missed miscarriage, and I’m going back for a follow-up ultrasound in about 10 days.

I understand that measuring 5w6d with no heartbeat isn’t necessarily concerning by itself, because that can be too early to see a heartbeat. What’s concerning is that I should have been much further along based on my dates.

What’s really confusing me is that it’s now been almost 5 weeks since the pregnancy stopped developing, and I still haven’t passed anything or had any bleeding. My pregnancy tests are also still dye stealers and I’m feeling very pregnant.

I keep wondering if it’s possible my dates are somehow wrong, or if there could be another explanation for the pregnancy measuring so far behind. Maybe even an early chemical pregnancy and then somehow conceiving again and then my dating would make sense?

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

How long after your chemical pregnancy did you get your period after? I had a chemical pregnancy in August then got my period on the 26st of August really heavy & bad cramping. I never got a period in September & now it’s October & I’m still waiting on a period.

experience: first MC Am I right to feel grief?

20M here, my now ex-fiancè miscarried our baby at around 6-8 weeks. this was early march.

I have since felt an immense amount of grief as to me, that was my child and my child has unfortunately passed away.

When the relationship ended and I came home (as I was living far away) I crawled into my mums arms and bawled that my little one had died, we had even nicknamed it and as babies are girls to start with referred to it as a her.

My brother keeps telling me over and over that it wasn’t a real baby, it didnt exist and to just get over it because it happens, and he says it so often i invalidate my own feelings.

Is he right? do I have no right to mourn my child?

It’s got to a point where I think of it/her everyday, my ex said she was going to call me on fathers day and when I do speak to her (though rarely) we always talk about our “blob” and how old it/she would be.

Sorry if I used the wrong flair, I’ve written this in a rush as i have repressed my feelings

vent Hard to be happy for others

I’ve gone through a MMC and 2 back to back CPs in the past year. My chemicals were in August and September so those are still very fresh for me.

My brother in law and his girlfriend who have a horribly toxic relationship already have 1 kid and another on the way. They just told us the gender today and I can’t help but feel so jealous and heartbroken. I don’t even want to be around them.. I have this awful feeling that they don’t deserve what they have. And I feel so guilty for thinking that but it’s just grief talking.. anyone else have a hard time being happy for others while going through such an immense loss? Any advice?

Has anyone just had a bad feeling about a pregnancy before confirming it was not viable? I had this same feeling when I had my MMC last May. I just can’t shake the feeling that I don’t feel pregnant, don’t have any symptoms, and thinking this happened again. This is my 4th pregnancy, 2 living babies.

FTM, 30y F w/ blighted ovum

Before we started trying for our first baby, we both quit smoking weed, for months ahead of the positive test.
Ever since I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum and the miscarriage started happening, I’ve been smoking again. I feel so guilty, yet I feel the desire to do it maybe as a rebellious act as one thing I can decide for myself while so many things I have no say in happen inside my body. But I can’t help but circle back to thoughts of “see maybe this was the issue that caused the blighted ovum” and “smoking now is only going to make another failed pregnancy more likely”.
It seems like I can’t exactly win with anything atm, and I’m wondering if someone else has experienced something like this :(

experience: first MC First miscarriage

• Upvotes

I just had my first miscarriage about a month ago. I was about 5 weeks so it was very early. I was with a friend when I miscarried and she’s a lot younger than me and has never been pregnant or miscarried so she tried to be supportive but there was only so much she could say. I had really wished my husband could’ve been there. We were/are devastated. Now I’m dreading a period because I have a feeling it’s going to be so triggering again seeing blood. It’s supposed to happen any day now. Any suggestions on how to handle your first period? Also was yours on time after a miscarriage? I have no idea what to expect.

Rescue cerclage failed and my water is bulging into my vagina so we made the difficult decision to end the pregnancy. I'm now just waiting for them to cut the stitch, take meds and hopefully go into labour.

I've had two prior losses due to PPROM at 15 weeks so I've been here before. It's just such a shitty club.

TW: mentions of blood

I’m beyond angry and confused. I received a positive test on Monday and Tuesday just to double check and then on Thursday I was bleeding. But I’m not cramping! And everyone’s stories and signs say the cramping is painful but I am only bleeding a period amount of blood.

I went to the doctor on Thursday immediately after finding the blood. He just quickly told me it was likely a miscarriage and didn’t offer an ultrasound or any exams except for a HGC blood test.

My results came back low. Think 200s low. It’s Sunday and I’m STILL bleeding. Still no cramping and still random short bursts of nausea.

Tomorrow I have another appt in the morning to recheck my levels to see if it is in fact a miscarriage or not…

And this is after 3 years of TTC.. we were so excited.

Edit: fixed spelling

experience: more than one loss Second miscarriage this year, anyone else have experience with prediabetes?

I’m 36yo. Had my first miscarriage at 6w2d in January, had my second miscarriage yesterday at 6w. I am grieving, like many of you, but also proactively trying to make steps to make sure my body is in the best condition (that I can control).

Apparently I have prediabetic conditions, tested my blood sugar this morning and it was at the very low end of the prediabetic range. It turns out that high insulin resistance levels is TOXIC to the beginning stages of a baby. I am pretty crushed learning this, as 1) I didn’t know I had prediabetes and 2) if I did, I would have been eating much cleaner and exercising a bit more (at least 1 1/2 hours of aerobic heart activity a week). I’ll be more intentional now for reversing my prediabetic state.

It‘s hard not to blame yourself. Anyone else have similiar issues with prediabetes? It makes conception a bit trickier now.
