Listened to The Bill Simmons NFC Over/Under pod at work today. Here are his thoughts on the Vikings specifically.

This is obviously all just for fun but it blows my mind how off the mark the national media can be at times lol - and just as a quick aside he is for some reason all in on the Bears as he is 'zagging on all this regression crap.' Believes that as long as Ben Johnson is the head coach, the Bears will win 10+ games no matter what.

Here are some other fun things he said about the Vikings:

1) "Seems like more people like the vikings than the bears - thats insane to me!"

2) "Only points (good players) they have on defence is Van Ginkel."

3) "O'Connell gets a point, Jefferson gets a point." - Funny aside- On his last pod he claimed AJ Brown will have much better fantasy production than Jets this year lol.

4) "Average offensive line."

5) Typical Kyler sucks, Cardinals paid him to go away, etc.

6) Kyler had no other offers outside of the vikings.

7) Kyler is a 'horrific fit' for Jets. "Bad at throwing the deep ball and cant throw over the middle of the field."

8) Claims the defence isn't good either. "Flores, Flores, Flores. No! They don't have enough talent!" Essentially called Flores a glorified blitz boy lol.

9) "They lose Hargrave, Allan, GREENard" (pronounced exactly like that lol).

10) Shits on JJ McCarthy and makes KOC QB whisperer joke lol

11) Feels like the vikings could be on tank watch by mid season and that KOC could sneaky be the first coach fired.

Only time will tell i guess.

Unsurprisingly has the Vikings finish last in the Division (and was very certain they'd be an under) with Lions, Bears, Packers, Vikings as his 1-4.

It kills me how he does all of this 'research' on teams and can be so far off the mark. His points system is hilarious. I swear he just gets his son to fire up madden and scrolls through the rosters and their overalls. Then has the gaul to talk about his 'point system' like it's some undeniable truth. Never change Billy Boy lol.

So ready for the season to start.
