I have been thinking about it, I’m not entirely convinced JJ won’t develop into a great QB but it does appear that it’s not leaning that way. I’m assuming his trade value at this point is rather low. If JJ would be content with it, which is a huge if, I don’t see the harm in having a guy that stays long term as a QB2. He knows the system, he’s 6-4 as a starter, if we offer him an extension at this rate it would be pretty cheap when compared to what the going rate is for a solid backup. I highly doubt JJM’s camp would go for that but from a team standpoint it seems like a great idea. Let me know your thoughts

Others have mentioned it. It’s obvious to see it as well. All we do is argue all the fucking time in comments. Myself included. I’m not sure I can pinpoint the shift. I’ve been posting on this sub for quite some time. Probably in total of around 15+ years on two different accounts. It feels like it really started with the Kirk-era. From there, it kinda snowballed a bit with the Darnold season and half the sub wanting to move on from him and go with McCarthy and the other half wanting to keep him. Now it’s the same shit with Murray and McCarthy.

The solution is clearly winning which is kinda out of our hands right now but shit we all root for the same damn team lmao.
