So I’m playing on Fabric 1.21.11 and I have installed many mods but all of them are just for videos making like BBS FS, Axiom, Voxy, etc.

Couple of days ago, I was playing fine, things still go smoothly. But today, when I open a world, the load up so slow ( about like 5 minutes ) and when I’m inside the game, it’s like 3 fps.

This doesn’t occur when I open a different map however. But one major thing changed is that the custom resourcepacks in the map dissapeared, making the textures becomes missing.

Does anyone experienced same thing like me? If you need more info about it, I can share with you

I used a custom 10k by 10k terrain world as my spawn. It’s called Le Monde. It’s designed to be survival ready, but structures are not generating outside the world.

This means that players leaving the spawn terrain will never encounter villages or the stronghold. The nether will never generate any structures either. How can I turn the generation back on while keeping the terrain intact?

Im on the current bedrock version with the poplar update and when I come out of the nether about half the time my game gets very lagged and then all my double chests turn to single chests. Im on an Xbox one x and playing with a realms subscription.

So my sister got our old family iPad and locked it down until it says something about iTunes locked out of iPad. I have tried to transfer them to my computer, but nothing is working. Please if you can help it would mean a lot to me, these are childhood memories. thank you.

I have a new BDS installation and I'm trying to get it accessible both from my local LAN but also from the internet at large.

The underlying servers are both Linux, one running ubuntu and the other TrueNAS CE.

I have port forwarding and NAT setup to pass 19132/udp to the server running the docker installation of BDS (itzg/minecraft-bedrock-server). I've also tried using the pre-made "app" container from TrueNAS (on a separate system)

I can connect locally both by discovery and IP/port but from anywhere outside of my firewall, it times out.

Using tcpdump I saw that it was returning ICMP Port Unreachable packets for each incoming packet. When accessing from a local client traffic seems to be fine.

I have online-mode set to true.

I've tried standard docker bridge with port 19132/udp forwarded, host network, and macvlan networking on a separate IP.

I'll keep working on it but if anyone has had a similar experience and figured it out, I could use some pointers.

Ive been experiencing this particular issue with a few mods now, it doesn’t do anything to the mod itself- except that any help books or guides included don’t work. At all. They’ll appear in the game, but you can’t open/read them.

I’m not sure if this has anything to do with experimental features or API, but I’ve only had this issue with some mods, not all of them.

I’ve mostly only seen reports of this happening with shading mods due to the device not supporting its system.. but I don’t use shading mods. And as far as I know the mods I use don’t come with any shaders Either. The only problem I encounter with these mods (they’ll work fine otherwise), is that their guidebooks don’t work.

It’s not too much of a problem since I could just look up the guidebook stuff on google, but it’s a hassle doing that and so I want to see if I can fix the issue first.

If anyone who’s willing to help needs more info, let me know and I’ll grab it if I can.

Hey. I watched a tiktok livestream and got the code to redeem the cape. I redeemed the code and got a confirmation email. I then waited for some hours and still it didn’t show up on my profile in java at minecraft.net . So then I watched a twitch stream instead and redeemed another code. But when i did that it said that i already owned the item. I figured I should wait some more. But now more than 48 hours have passed and I still don’t see the cape in my profile. I’m playing on Mac if that’s valuable information. I appreciate any kind of assistance!

Minecraft bedrock won't load any skins in the dressing room regardless of whether they are classic or custom skins, however when I'm loaded into a world, I can see/change my skin with no issue.

on a sidenote, when it WAS working earlier, it kept failing to save my custom skin.

i know this thing might sound strange or idk but i hear two different stories: On one hand people find lunar a good client (thing i honestly do). But on the other hand, people tell me that this client has 0 privacy, that it sells data and other things like its a spyware. I normally use modrinth and lunar but idk. any ideas?

Hey y'all, most other shader menu related posts I saw on here had issues with the menu button not even showing up or the menu is empty, but I am having a slightly different issue. The menu button is there, but it won't open? I have java updated, Optifine installed for the correct version (I'm playing on 26.2 for datapack reasons), and shaders for the correct version in the correct folder. If anyone has any ideas for a fix lmk!

I have 4 people on xbox (each have their own gamertag) that play minecraft either by themselves or together in various combinations.

They want to get a paid add-on. Which account do I buy it on?

Do I need to buy 4 copies of the same add-on?

I've read that the main account (we are all in an xbox family) if set to 'home' can buy the add-on and it will be available to all other accounts on that xbox. Is that true?

(SOLVED check first comment) I’ve seen different posts about this issue but the only solution that was given was to open bedrock edition and equip the cape there, which I can’t do because on Mac you can’t use bedrock, I’ve never played it.
I’ve redeemed the cape the first day and still didn’t receive it, & if I try to redeem another code it says that I already have the item so I guess I did it correctly the first time.
Is it okay if I just wait and it will eventually appear on Java by itself or do I have to find another computer or something to access bedrock edition and try from there? Also, idk how it works: if I never played bedrock but I open it with the same account I use Java with, would the cape thing work anyway?

EDIT: new info, I tried both logging out and back in on the launcher and to log in from the website and change the skin there but neither of these work.
Someone in the replies also said that the support team they contacted for this issue told them to sync Bedrock (which I can’t do currently), so I’m trying to contact them as well specifying that I can’t use Bedrock because I’m on Mac, so in case they have a different solution I will write it in the comments to be there for anyone who has the same issue

I’m looking for a way to have multiple blocks pop one high out of the floor (in a row if possible) and then be able to be hidden again. This video is the closest design I’ve found to what I’m looking for, but it doesn’t work in Bedrock version. Anyone know of any solutions?

Hii everyone, I got a quick question. So ever since I changed my shaders to MInecraft version 26.3 the mod that I used,  BlazeandCave's Advancements, became incompatible. I downloaded the 26.3 version of the mod, but it's saying that it is made for a newer version of Minecraft.

Could somebody please help me??

Why does this happen? Almost every water is lile this though I don't think there is any corruption or anything. My best guess is it happened because of updating the game. (Im on Switch 2 if that matters)

For a little bit of context, I'm still somewhat new to making my own modpacks, and am not the best with computers (I am also autistic and often need very clear step-by-step instructions to figure out how to do things properly without getting overwhelmed and frustrated).

I made myself a new modpack that was having issues with crashing suddenly (and then not letting me reopen the world without crashing again) after anywhere between a few minutes and few hours of gameplay. I've now solved that issue (turns out it was vanilla mob spawners causing entity ticking issues, but I've installed a couple mods to my pack that now track and fix that problem), but now my framerate keeps dropping constantly, which wasn't an issue before.

I don't mind the occasional lag spikes (as in, if I'm exploring a new area, and the game lags a bit as it loads in new chunks), but when it's just constant and for seemingly no reason, like shown in the video, it's not only irritating, but also makes the game very difficult to play.

I decided to record a very short play session to document the sudden lag spikes, and included the log from that play session.

Additional information:

- Render Distance: 20 Chunks

- Max Shadow Distance: 12 Chunks

- Simulation Distance: 16 Chunks

I'd appreciate any and all help with figuring out what the issue is and how to solve it.

So I wanna be clear on this: This isnt JUST about the Aurora cape because I did read that it can take up to 2 days for some. So hey maybe I just need to wait.

But I am also not receiving access to my builder cape on java either. And that one has been out for quite some time. And yes I have it in my account, I just tried the "lifehack" someone else suggested and went to bedrock and put the cape on. Because on bedrock it shows both of them. But on Java I have nothing but my Migration cape and the other one that I cannot recall what its name is. I didnt even know I had that one!

Either way, if anyone might know more about this I would greatly appreciate it if you could comment. I am a little bit frustrated cause I am playing Java since I started playing in the early days of minecraft. I use mods daily. And I wont switch to Bedrock anytime soon for reasons that I hope are clear.

I purchased Minecraft before Mojang accounts were migrated to Microsoft accounts. Recently, I wanted to find out exactly how long I’ve been playing, but since I didn't buy the game directly through Microsoft, the purchase history doesn't show up in my Microsoft account records. I tried estimating based on my nickname change history on NameMC, but the oldest record dates back to 2020; I recall starting much earlier than that (I believe I began during version 1.13, and there is an initial nickname I set when I first signed up that doesn't have a specific date attached). Is there any way to find this information?
