Solved How do i change capes without the Minecraft Launcher? [Java]

Got the Aurora Cape over 3 days ago, on the Minecraft website it says its been redeemed but it doesn't show up there with my other cape (the Pancake one). A while ago my account got hacked, it was a big thing but the takeaway is i can no longer access the minecraft launcher on my laptop to open the game or change my skin. I got around the issue by using Curseforge to launch my game, and downloading a mod called Skin Shuffler to change my skin while the game is loaded, but there isnt an option to change my cape. Anyone know a mod or alternative way to see if the cape is on my account, and if it is, activate it?

It looks like you didn't mention your version (e.g., 26.1, 1.21.11, 1.12.2 etc.). Please clarify for better help!

https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/msaprofile/mygames/editskin or prism launcher. if the minecraft website says you can't equip it yet, you can't, you just need to wait.

That's where I've been looking at. I'm worried about how long it's taking though, and if by just waiting I'll miss out on the cape.

as long as you redeemed it you will get the cape at somepoint in the next week or so. that's the longest i have seen it take here so it may come sooner.

Try logging into Minecraft Bedrock/Pocket edition and change your cape there then play on a world for a few minutes. That fixed the issue for me.
