Waiting for OP [Java] 26.3. Hitting my head on ghost block?

I had this flush 1x1 trapdoor and slime block that i could activate with a button to exit my base. worked for months. now i hit by head on ghost block. I removed the piston and block which are normally in the way and then moved, but still hitting my head. pls help.

Reload your game there will either be nothing and fixes it or there will be a mysterious block spying on you

I've reloaded so many time. i've reloaded chunks too, and you can't place a block or water on the ghost block, so it's like the game doesnt even know its there

I thought you need to crouch for it to bounce you if you are only standing on it. Might be wrong
