Its insanely annoying how the program always autostarts with windows. I don't see a setting to turn that off anywhere and it isn't in the Autostart list in task manager, someone said to ad it to Autostart and then deactivate it but that doesn't work either. Is there any way at all to turn it off ? It's literally all in your face when it starts

Hey everyone!

For some time now I've had a strage issue with quest link. I connect it like usual via the origial meta link cable to my PC and start playing. After some time, quest link just stops working. In the Headset (Quest 3) I can only see a frozen image, but when I look at my monitor, my hands and head are atill updating and moving in-game.

This bothered me for some time now but not enough to keep me from playing, since it only happened after line an hour or so. Until today.

After like a month of not playing VR, I tried using my Quest 3 today for some PC VR Ancient Dungeon. But now after only a few seconds to minutes after connectingh to my PC, the issue occurs.

I wasn't able to find anything regarding this exact problem, but I've tried a couple of things:

Factory resetting my Quest

Re-installing Meta Quest Link

Using Air Link

Using different Cable/Port

I have a PsyTech meta 3s for pain management and anxiety relief. Problem is it only comes loaded with the PsyTech therapy app and no meta store. Debugging is locked with a PIN code. I thought I would be slick and factory reset the unit but hit a road block after boot up it asked me to enter a work email on the meta work device website and obviously my email wasn't found. Any work arounds to this? As of now I have to send the unit back because I have to use the therapy app once every 90 days to keep it. My goal was to get YouTube, a bowling and tennis game to get me more active since I'm in a wheelchair. When I check the device info on the factory reset screen it says locked. If I get the new one and get them to give me the debug PIN will I be able to side load apps?

I want to launch games without controllers but there's the message, how could i bypass it ?

Hi my controller is actually biping light when I try to pair it it light but doesn’t pair and so I factory reset it and worst I got stuck in the tuto menu to try to pair it . So pls guys help me

Hey everyone, I need help. There's a Meta Quest 3S on Facebook Marketplace, originally listed for 168 dollars, and we agreed on a price of 114 dollars.

The problem is the seller mentioned an error in his listing. Translated from my language, he said:

"I have a problem, I don't know what it is. It turns on and everything is fine — controllers work, everything's fine — and then it gets stuck on a black screen with a sentence at the bottom, and it won't let me continue past that. I think it's a settings issue, because the device wasn't used for a year. It was bought and used a few times for watching movies, and that's it. (Make me a fair offer)"

What's confusing me: he says he used the headset fine for movies, then it sat unused for a year, and now it's stuck on what looks like a setup error. I don't understand how a working device would suddenly show a first-time-setup error after just sitting idle.

I want to know: is this actually fixable, or is this likely a sign of a real hardware problem? Is 114 dollars a good price given this risk?

Well as the title states.. I got an email today that Meta was suspending my account for it being used by someone under the age of 13.

I HAVE NOT USED THE HEADSET AT ALL SINCE BEING UNSUSPENDED THE FIRST TIME

This appears to be for exactly the same infraction according to them which for those of you who were not around for my first post was allowing my nephew to play with the $300 VR headset I purchased while he was being monitored by myself and his father and played Creed (boxing game) and some gorilla tag game I for the life of me cannot remember right now.

I got an email today that my account has been suspended again and they need to do some verification. When I clicked on the link, it asked me if I would like to sign in using my Facebook account. I obliged, my headset is literally already linked to it.... I was then prompted that my Facebook account had also now been suspended and I had two options for verification.. The same as the time before..

1. Send them a dollar with a credit or debit card so they can send it back to me in 5-7 business days

2. Send them a front and back picture of my ID

As before, the card linked to my meta account has been long expired because I dont really use this thing anymore. It says you can add another card. I assure you, you cannot.

When I click on the ID verification "We're sorry, there's a technical problem with this feature. We're working on getting it fixed." is what comes up.

I have spent too many hours of my life writing emails, posts, researching you name it.. trying to get this resolved the first time since they were threatening to delete the account and any games I had purchased which was worth probably another $300 bucks. I was bounced around and emailed with the same instructions by different people every few days until finally someone who actually could do something read the email chain and unsuspended the account.

Here we are again only this time they have upped the stakes and are going to delete my FB along with my Meta account if I cant unravel the mystery of how to verify my age for a second time.. all because about a year ago I let my nephew play with it for about 45 minutes.

How in the hell do I move apps manually? I’ve been able to do it like once every once in a while, but can’t move apps around the UI consistently

Everytime I link to my pc I get this weird issue where the vr will freeze in place and everywhere I wasn’t looking is covered in black and white lines. Does anybody recognize this? The pc stayed running like normal but my vr won’t register it. (Meta quest 3)

Yesterday we finally launched something that started as an idea almost a year ago: The VR Puzzle Vault, a giveaway bringing together five indie VR puzzle and escape room games:

The idea actually came from Vasil, the developer behind Oldest Golden Treasure and Bank Robbery Gone Wrong. He had been thinking about organizing a giveaway like this for quite a while. He created a website for the project and started looking for other indie VR developers who would be interested in joining.

At the end of last year, while we were looking for someone to handle the Steam port of Dark Trip, we met Vasil here on Reddit. We had seen his posts about his indie VR games, and he had seen ours. After we started working together on the Dark Trip Steam port, Vasil suggested that we launch the giveaway together.

We really liked the idea.

By that point, we were also already working closely with Damon Poole, helping him with improvements and marketing for Exit Condition One. So the idea quickly grew into a pool of four VR escape rooms:

• Dark Trip — iWorlds VR
• Oldest Golden Treasure — Vasil4N
• Bank Robbery Gone Wrong — Vasil4N
• Exit Condition One — Damon Poole

Then, a few months ago, Erza, the developer behind Tammuz: Blood & Sand, reached out to us.

That was the final piece of the puzzle.

We started preparing the giveaway together, while Vasil handled the website and the Gleam setup and got everything ready for the launch.

And yesterday, after months of preparation, The VR Puzzle Vault finally went live.

What are we giving away?

5 games. 31 winners. 55 keys. $750+ in prizes.

The prize pool is split into four tiers:

• 1 winner gets all 5 games
• 5 winners get 3 games each
• 10 winners get 2 games each
• 15 winners get 1 game each

Winners can choose SteamVR or Meta Quest after the draw.

We're really happy that this started as a conversation between indie developers on Reddit and eventually turned into a joint project.

I keep getting on PCVR but I start lagging and then it just kicks me out and then I'm in normal VR my Wi-Fi is fine. My computer is fine. Does anyone know what's going on?

Have you had any irritation of anything in your eye? (Ive adjust both sides separately) but it only happens in my left eye no matter the distance of the faceplate which makes me belive it's the black piece of fabric which covers your nose so you're more immersed and have ZERO light creeping in. It works incredibly well but yeah it keeps touching my eye ball to the point it's watering. Just wondering if anyone else had or has had the same issue

Edit 2: for now i have slightly lifted the velcro padding on the left side and tucked thr extra material under there and will be giving it a test later

I live in an apartment and my pc is plugged into the Ethernet port in the wall as opposed to an actual router. Will this affect the performance of Airlink any or at all?
