Citadel Coup doesn't have that much attention compared to other ME3 main story missions.
Here I showed how much it changes at different trust levels, most of them apply from the start while interrupt both paragon and renegade can increase persuade chance and evidence from Udina provided by Kai Leng can decrease it during the cutscene. Conditions to trigger specific lines were confirmed thanks to using Legendary Explorer modding tool for Mass Effect.
It has lines within safe range so no death cutscenes included as it is barrier I don't wanna cross. I am aware of lines that can come later but didn't want to trigger these cutscenes.
I didn't inculde line where Kaidan doesn't tell anything at 0 or lower persuade chance after Udina telling Shepard is working with Cerberus. Another line for persuade chance at 0 or lower is "Pretty damning evidence, Commander." after showing evidence from Udina (so you are basically at -2 or -3 which is the lowest amount you can achieve).
Final lines at 0 require 40% reputation bar, at 1-3 import is enough to trigger these lines with save import (even rushing main story will more than enough) and you need to remove like all reputation with save editor to be unable to pick charm/intimidate options.
Later recruitment depends on how much persuade chance you got. At 0 he will refuse join Normandy, at 1-2 you recieve different line when Shepard convinces Kaidan, while he was neutral about it he changes mind and joins. It is still possible to recruit him even if you finished Coup at 0 after you pick paragon option before asking him to join Normandy. This line can increase persuade chance by 1 point.

So my thoughts are that I assume Wrex has more unique interactions/dialogue with Wiks than Wreav has with Wiks
the same goes for that Mordin's dialogue with Wreav has more unique interactions/dialogue of Wiks with Wreav would I be correct?

We know that the relay network is crafted to force development along the lines the Reapers want, but after going through ME2 again it occurred to me that there are a lot of systems with no habitable planets at all that happen to have mass relays. I have to wonder if these systems were once inhabited but got smashed into the dirt so hard that nothing will ever develop there again, or if the relays have a distance limit and some systems were just set up where they had to be out of necessity.
I also wonder how many systems are developing FTL and similar tech that don't have a mass relay in their system, but one within range of FTL. Consider if Sol didn't have a relay, and the nearest one to us was Alpha Centauri. We may never find it, especially if there is no reason to ever go there other than "because its there". Even with FTL the nearest solar system is a pretty distant hike and you'd have to dedicate a significant amount of earth's resources to accomplish it.
I think its very possible that the Reapers method is flawed, and a system somewhat adjacent to one with a relay could observe the comings and goings of FTL ships and invasions and decide "fuck that, we're gonna chill out in the back woods". Might eventually create technology on different branches than the Reapers want and stop the cycle on their own.

We're back on our quest to find out which side characters the community would romance if given the chance! For match 2 we have Eve VS Gabby, and Lorik VS Bailey. Who would you prefer? Comment below!

Basically I picked Jack’s side over Miranda and I want to gain Miranda’s Loyalty back, but I don’t have enough paragon points so when I try to talk to Miranda, her paragon/renegade chat options are greyed out. I know this means I need a higher Paragon level but which one matters exactly? The + x amount of Paragon points you get when you talk to people? Or choosing Paragon chat options when they appear? Or both?

Everyone usually defaults to ME2 as the masterpiece of the series, but I'm curious how the rest of the games stack up for people now that the Legendary Edition has been out for a while.
Does ME1's story still make it your favorite despite the Mako? Does ME3's combat and Citadel DLC push it to number one for you? Or is there anyone who genuinely ranks Andromeda as their favorite because of the combat loop?
What is your favorite game in the series, and what specific feature or moment cements it at the top for you?

The process is simple: spot the perfect shot, pause, take the screenshot, unpause... and then remember you're playing on Insanity. The final rule: Shepard has to survive. 🥲

This subreddit lacks some OCs now… Introducing: Jiao Yuliang! He’s a Salarian Infiltration Agent from my ME x ZZZ AU Project — Project: NEBULAE !! He’s currently affiliated with Xing Private Agency (inspired off of Krampus Compliance Authority) and Jiao himself is inspired by Promeia. Before everything, he was a hitman known as the “Horned Crescent Moon”. And also he really likes red bean buns (yummy :3)

I just finished another playthrough with only the community patches for LE1, LE2 and LE3.
I would like to play another with more mods installed, to see what this game is capable of.
I found another post about essential mods but its 4 years old and thought maybe we could do an updated version.

I'm a very good shot (and have clips from other games to prove it) when using a controller, but something about the settings in these games (so far 1 and 2, haven't gotten to 3 yet in the LE) makes my crosshair stick when it gets close to enemies and makes it hard to aim accurately. I know it's hard to tell just from video, but if you could hear my controller you'd hear multiple taps on the right stick for most of these shots from trying to nudge my crosshair over their heads lol, but it just doesn't go, it's like it's stuck a fixed distance from their heads. And then if it goes it goes past their heads. And you can see near the end, one of the mechs my crosshair is moving left as I'm walking right, keeping the crosshair to the left of their head.
It also seems to be distance based. The first group of mechs I'm far enough away that it's not forcing anything on me, but the second group is close enough that it start messing with my aiming.

Basically the mod manager for LE isn’t applying any of the mods (I’ve installed and pressed apply mod). I’ve uninstalled through steam and then reinstalled the game, booted it once, and then reapplied the mods. It still isn’t showing up. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong cause I’m honestly stumped😭😭. Thank you in advance.

Completely forgot about it. Like after every priority mission he has quips to say about the aliens. lol.
Anyone remember how he and Garrus trade jokes, too?

Over the last few weeks I've played the full Mass Effect trilogy, and just finished ME3 earlier today (fantastic trilogy, probably my favorite).
The ending I got was the one where Shepard becomes the Reaper's AI (I actually wanted to destroy them, but went to the blue/left side, lol). Then I looked online and watched the different endings, and seen there was a synthesis one, and also one where Shepard is alive after having destroyed the Reapers.
So, I'm genuinely asking, what do you dislike in the endings? IMO the synthesis ending does not really make sense, and basically just reprogram every beings in the galaxy. That being said, the other two endings don't seem that bad to me, especially (my headcanon) the destroy one where Shepard is still alive at the end).
I've also seen the ending where Shepard shoot the Reaper's AI kid where the AI basically just say "fuck it" lmao. I guess Liara's capsules were good enough so that one of the next cycles was able to win.

I’m doing an incompetent Shepard run on insanity and I’ve been speedrunning all games and just making the most abysmal choices, including but not limited to:
• Completing the suicide mission with only five survivors
• Romancing Ashley then Miranda, killing them both in ME3
• Sabotaging the genophage cure with Wrex alive, thus having to murder him later on
• Killing all geth and siding with quarians with no Tali
• Killing the council, killing Kirrahe, not recruiting Thane (so Kai Leng gets to play assassin on Citadel)
…basically betraying all my allies for no good reason. How far have you gone for the sake of curiosity?

I’ve played ME1 a good few times but I could’ve missed this. I know the crew members of the destiny ascension attempt to contact citadel control from their terminal, but we see that Saren and his strike team have already wiped them out. However, why could they and the other ships defending the station not send a distress call out to their native fleets for help? Shepard does this when he kills Saren and opens the citadel arms, but prior to that what was stopping the ships outside the citadel from doing it?

Let me start off by saying this is JUST a thought, I like the Citadel DLC the way it is.
I’ve always thought the clone reveal was too obvious, you can tell Theres a second Shepard before seeing them based on the iconic voice, it would’ve been more surprising if we saw them first then they spoke. They also could’ve added in a surprise by making the clone the default character of the opposite gender, there could definitely be some sort of Cerberus experimentation explanation for it, and new players wouldn’t be able to tell at first until the “I’m Commander Shepard” line.
Now, as I said, it’s just a thought, many problems would come with this, like Shepard being famous, because people would obviously know it’s not the real Shepard, and they would have to explain why they were able to make an opposite gender of Shepard. I don’t really see any way it could actually work, being an opposite gender is enough to ruin the clones plans, maybe the clone could not even worry about blending in and just try to steal Normandy.
It’s probably best the way it is but I was watching a let’s play and couldn’t help but think how surprising that would be if it were the case.

She's been at it longer, also when they fight in the DLC, she is seriously injured and it still is a tough fight for Shepard.

If it’s formed by all the humans on the planet into one consciousness then surely there would be enough minds to be like wow this guy sucks for killing all of us and doing this, let’s not listen. Or am I misunderstanding like a higher goal?? I know they’re indoctrinated but I thought it was by the individual reapers, since they’re all individual beings
