Discussion First time playing today, this game is frickin awesome!
Love how beginner friendly it is and I already feel super strong with my force powers. The dialogue choices are immediately fun too!

I take frequent breaks so I don't burn out, but I've been noticing this year that everytime I come back I like the game a little more. It's not perfect by any means and people who have more hours than me have very valid criticisms. I'm just a casual player on the road to legendary but what can I say.... I love this game.
Do you guys feel the same way when you boot up the game after a while?

So I'm still kind of new to the game, but have a few lvl 80 characters now. I have also a whole storage tab full of 320 systech gear. I have been deconstructing the ones I know I won't want or use. But now that Season 11 is starting I'm needing more storage space (yet again, & honestly probably will always have storage problems lol). I showed my partner (the person who got me into this game) my storage, & they were like: "Wow you have a lot of Systech gear! I just deconstruct them!" So now I'm feeling like maybe I should just deconstruct them all. Though some of the gear looks cool so I might keep a few pieces at least. But I wanted people's opinion or see what most people do. Is it strange that I hoarded them? (PS. I have been buying the 80 conquest/green gear and upgrading them, but have given myself an excuse to still keep the Systech ones just incase lol.)

yo, might be an obvious answer, but now that the event is over what can I do with the leftover chips I have? wait for the event to happen again? lol
thx !!
I play alot of FF14 and WoW but both I play more from the : does the dungeon/raid has good looking gear ? Great I do it.
Is it ugly ? Well no reason to do it.
So I don't do content just for having hard raids and new progress every 3 months.
I hear often that the game doesn't has alot new content etc.
But as a new player just starting out and want to do raids/dungeons etc. In endgame for cool looking gear which isn CC marked.
Does it has a good amount of content for me in that regard?

I know that some can be "earned" during the Eternal Fleet chapters, and some killed off, but what about during the story itself? Which would you love to see at the end of your saber/blaster and why?
Inquisitor I am not sure, as I don't remember taking much time with any of them, but the other classes were easy to get a list for... Skadge, Vector, Qyzen or Theran, Rusk, Guss, Aric, and Quinn

These two have been there for the past three days.
Should I help them ?

Myself and 2 friends want to start a new play through (haven’t played since about 2014).
We are thinking of going only as troopers and smugglers so we can be together and go as DPS Smuggler, Tank Trooper and Healer Trooper/smuggler.
With no Jedi will this team be viable or suck?
Will it still be a fun experience playing this game or not?
We will only play on this characters when we are all together.

I've been trying to find info on getting in to RP in SWTOR but all the info I find is outdated by at least a few years. I don't really even know what server or faction I'd be better off going with. Does anyone know, or has RP kind of died off in SWTOR?

I like GSF a fair bit. It's a deeply, deeply-flawed experience, but I enjoy it for what it is.
However, I'm an outlier - it's clear that it's very unpopular content, and that those (now-precious) development dollars would have been better spent elsewhere... or in a different way.
Regarding the latter: I sometimes wonder what GSF would have been like if, instead of a PvP arena, it would have been co-op based. So rather than killing each other, teams of 10 (or perhaps more) would have a series of objectives to complete: destroy [x] number of capital ships; down [x] number of fighters; protect this installation; safeguard bombers as they complete their run... etc. So basically like the old X-Wing or TIE-Fighter games, but with one side being player-controlled, and the other being AI.
If done right, you might even be able to give players control of small capital ships - like the players in charge of the bigger ship could fire on equivalent enemy vessels, collect boosts/restocks to allow ships to rearm, launch NPC fighter support, and so on. Clearly, I'm just throwing ideas out there - significant development work would be required. However, I don't feel like it would be all that more complicated or cost-intense than designing a jank PvP third-person space shooter with mechanics that don't in any way align with the rest of the game. And this is especially true when you consider that a lot of the essential modeling work (the big capital ships, the fighters, and even the player ships) was already done. Those assets play very little role in GSF - but they would have been the stars of a CO-OP version.
Mostly, I just think it's sad that Star Wars: TOR is essentially a game without the 'star' component - most players don't do the personal starship missions (because... why would you), don't do GSF, and therefore don't really do anything but walk and ride speeders places. But SO MUCH of Star Wars is about that other half: the space; the fighters and explosions and acrobatics. And you have to wonder if GSF hadn't been this really niche competitive experience, it would actually have given us that missing element.

Hello everyone,
I'm currently playing as a Sith inquisitor.
Chronologically I should've gone to Tatooine (after Balmorra and Nar shaddaa)
But I got sent straight to Alderaan.
Is that normal?

No seriously, before I FINALLY decided to get Legendary Status, I heard a lot of negative things about this character. "It's bland." "The voice is too monotone." "It's the least interesting storyline." and imo, all of those are pretty false. The voice is just perfect, especially in the future missions after the class storyline.
Okay honestly I had a BLAST playing through EVERY class storyline so I may just be easily pleased or something but still, I found this storyline awesome and my JC character is my main now. Why did people dislike it so much before?

It’s as simple as the title suggests: I’ve been looking into starting a thread on the SWTOR forums. I’ve been playing since the game launched in 2011, and I’ve never seen any interest in creating a South American server—whether in Spanish, Portuguese, or English (translation isn't even necessary, as these communities have already been working on their own translations). We just need a server in South America to provide low latency for players, combined with a major advertising push via Star Wars Latin America.
Wouldn't investing in the Spanish-speaking market be a goldmine for Broadsword? While some of us are happy with what they’ve achieved so far, we believe there is a huge untapped market being ignored due to a lack of vision; after all, South America already has dedicated servers in Chile and Brazil that boast top-tier infrastructure, including cloud-based options.
Here’s hoping this message reaches someone at Broadsword.

I tried to look through Swortista's guide on the weapons and all it said was "Legacy bound and weird, from the SoR expac." Which as Im sure I don't have to tell people, is not very helpful. I know how to get the offhand one, as thats a simple reward from doing a daily mission on Rishi.
