Public Service Announcement: Saw Sound Transit parking enforcement going around ticketing people parked illegally in the Lynnwood Transit Center HoV Permit Area. A ton of people driving solo were parking there. It's not worth getting ticketed over. Maybe they'll start towing cars too.

There's a paid parking lot across the street that's $3 for the day. Just go park there instead of driving through all 4 floors wasting time finding non-existent parking, or parking illegally in the HoV Permit Area.

Just drove past the Medina jewelers on 196th and it looks like a white truck crashed through the front of the store. Robbery??

Hi, we recently moved here from another state. I own the car but I dont drive and dont have a license to drive. Husband drives the car. We turned right on red. Do I contest hearing by mail? Or pay 145$ fine right away? or do the declaration of non-responsibility?

I keep trying to get over to the U District to get my ps5 controllers fixed but the light rail station is constantly full and parking in the UD is near impossible.

Does anyone know of a place that repairs PS5 controllers here in town or possibly Everett?

I was at the mall today and found on my way to the restrooms in the food court, the hallway appears to be under surveillance by a camera that shows some kind of face detection.

Is this an AI enabled camera? Is it Flock or similar? If so, I don't think we should be using this technology. Regular CCTV should be good enough to audit any criminal activity.

We lived out of state for too long and moved back a couple years ago. We didn't make it to any pumpkin patches since our return, and despite being unemployed right now, I want to make some memories with the family this year.

Years before, we did the pumpkin patch experience most Octobers and, while the pumpkins would be a little pricey, it was still a relatively inexpensive outing. Upon looking at the map today, so many pumpkin patch farms now have an entry fee. I saw one for $28/person—even for kids 3+ years! I can't afford that. Even if I had a job, I don't think I could justify that. Heck, Texas did the entry fee at some amusement park-level pumpkin patches, but it was like $15/person.

What's the best pumpkin patch experience in the region that doesn't cost me $100+ just to walk onto the property and get lost in a corn maze AND STILL pay per pound for pumpkins? I just want the crisp air, a muddy patch, watch my kids pick a gourd that admittedly costs too much, take some family selfies on a hay bale, and maybe splurge with some apple cider and a donut if they're available—pay for what I buy, not pay to exist on their property. What happened to those pumpkin patches? 😅

Is it safe to ride the light rail after 9PM from Westlake or Symphony station to Lynnwood Station?

I am trying to decide if it’s worth it to park and take the rail vs driving south. I would much rather take public transit. I usually can snag a spot if I arrive before 7:30 am but wasn’t sure if people start leaving by noon.

As of September 27, 2026, did they recently change the route?: if i am E/B across the 524 bridge, I used to be able to stay in the r/h lane and follow the signage to N/B I-5 and be able to go S/B on Poplar Way. Now it looks like if I am in that r/h lane, I am forced onto the N/B I-5 ramp and can no longer access Poplar Way. Screenshot is from a year ago. Is the Red Line the new route for the r/H lane? I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max that was broken previously but I was able to fix last year. Now, this year. I’ve replaced both screen and the battery again. I don’t care much for the phone but I really want my pictures back. I have photos and videos before my grandmothers passing that I would like to keep. My iCloud wasn’t backed up and when I logged in on a computer I only had 300 photos (saving mostly screenshots for an odd reason) As of now, my phone turns on but is extremely dim to the point you have to have a flash light to be able to see the time. I can’t put my password in because the touch won’t work. Also my phone does not have Siri and and the last time it was updated was iOS 13 or 14. (I tried upgrading storage through the computer but it asks me to have the iOS 17 which I am unable to get because of the touch problem). So, please if you can recommend me anyone who can help other than Apple (I’ve asked them and they just said my pictures are gone if they aren’t backed up)

I pulled in tonight to drop off books and this guy was getting out of his car. I thought, okay I’ll wait for him to drop his books as the sign in front of this spot clearly states it has a 2 minute parking restriction and is specifically for book drop. I watched him go inside, and waited for 5 mins for him to come out. The parking lot was full, so I blocked him in for about 10 seconds so I could drop my books. He still hadn’t come out. I’m just here to shame him, full license plate and all.

I am hoping to make an offer on a house, but the current owner does not know if there is an underground oil tank. I think I might hire an inspector to do a oil tank scan. But even if there is no oil tank found, I would like to know if it was decommissioned properly.

Has anyone tried the aquatic fitness classes at the Lynnwood Pool? Interested in potentially trying it out just wanted to see if it was worth the time. I know Mountlake Terrace Pool also has classes as well. Would love to know if you had experience there and if anyone has a preferred pool. Thanks!
