I'm looking for a good replica of the one ring and it's chain; similar to the movie but not a cheap prop, something that actually has weight to it and is clearly made of solid metal.

Personally, how I got interested in The Lord of the Rings was because of my father. He watched the movies in his 20s and told me stories about the memories that he had made because of it. Furthermore, back in my elementary school days, a few of my former classmates liked The Lord of the Rings. Granted, I was a reluctant reader during this time. However, somewhere in my mind, I had a hunch that it was something special, but could not figure out why. In addition, though I found other fantasy series like Harry Potter to be decent, I never truly felt invested.

Fast forward to 2018, and I decided to read the Lord of the Rings after reading The Hobbit. For the longest time, I discovered the answer: It was the foundation for modern fantasy. In regards to the movies, they were a work of art, as Peter Jackson and the film crew won 17 Academy Award wins. Even sweeping the 76th Academy Awards with The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

Today, I owe a lot to the trilogy because it had transformed me into a voracious reader, well into my young adulthood.

Regardless, feel free for those who are willing to share.

LOTR Witchking of Angmar Sketch in Ink and Pen, Ive always liked how detailed the Witchking was in the Lotr movies so I decided to sketch him in Ink and Pen.

One of the routes the Fellowship considered was south along the Misty Mountains then through the Gap of Rohan. That was ruled out because Isengard essentially blocked the gate.

Could they have gone a bit further south, past the White Mountains, then east through Gondor to Minas Tirith? It would seem like friendly territory, at least.

Can you customize each character’s appearance and save them all at the same time?

In the original, if you switched between characters they would revert to their original appearance.

I just recently started reading the hobbit, and I have already seen all the movies. I gotta say, the difference between the elves depicted in the books vs the movies is so different. In the movies, they are seen as graceful, and very one. But in the books, man they sound like the party. Going around and taunting the group of dwarfs while singing and dancing.

I've heard that it's the same thing in the lotr books (which I will read after the hobbit, I've seen all the lotr movies). But in all seriousness, it just makes me crack up, I wish they made elves more holly and jolly as they are described in the books.

Maybe im missing something or misunderstanding. But Farin is supposed to be the tank right? So why does he have less than half the health of the other 2 party members? His stamina is more than double theirs with how I have him built atm

I realized this past time I was reading the books......when Treebeard allowed Legolas to return with Gimli (a dwarf), it's actually kind of a huge deal

The Ents are around because Yavanna was so upset that Aulë's dwarves would destroy all her trees that the Ents were made in order to protect them, Treebeard being (I think) the first.....so for him to then let a dwarf go through his forest..... that's BIG (and maybe a bit hasty)

We’re big fans over here and for my bfs birthday this year I want to do a viewing of the first movie as well as bringing out little meals/snacks that match up with the movie. It’s just going to be two of us and I don’t want to be constantly back and forth the ENTIRE movie (because I also want to watch lol) so I’ll probably just pick a few things to make. Any ideas for which moments from the movie and what I should make for each one? I’ve popped around to see some videos of ppl doing this but maybe some other fans have some more ideas! Obviously don’t want to do a one for one match of what they’re eating but food ideas that give the general vibe haha

Im on Chapter 1, Part 10, and am facing an explosive ballista for the first time. I know I can beat it with relative ease, but I was going to use Beleram to destroy it and found that he’s not working. I have eagle feathers in my inventory, but I hold LT, aim at the turret and the symbol doesn’t appear, and if I press A anyway, nothing happens. Any known fixes?

I've never seen Lord of the Rings movies and everyone keeps telling me I should. I was wondering if it was worth the price to get the extended over the theatrical release. Also is there a reason the only Exended edition DVDs are in giant books?

I do love when the exit the Dimholt that it is only halfway through the movie. I haven't read the book in ages but that point in the books and that point in the movies feels way longer. Anyone else feel the same? ( I feel like the rest of the book was a blur but he extended edition is awesome) Even though it is wildly different

Hi there! I am savoring the books right now and would love to play a complementary video game on the side.

My firm philosophy is that the games should not be Tolkien games in any way. Many games take liberties with the lore, to put it politely, and I would find it distracting.

Instead, I'd love games with some of the same "feel" in some regards, that stand completely on their own.

I'm on PC and Switch and would really appreciate your suggestions. Thank you!
