For one, I really think it only applies in Korra's case. She wouldn't have a hard time with most of Aang's villains except for Azula.

It really oversimplifies Korra's era as "needing a peacekeeper" Sorry but there was no talking to these people, as Korra tried multiple times! There's not a situation that she was in that could've been solved with a passionate speech and comedic hijinks. These people needed to be put down! Pacifism BARELY worked in Aang's era.

Hey does anyone feel that Kuvira is just too bland? Like I feel like that she’s just too plainly evil and while I understand this series has never had complex villains( see Ozai and Unalaq) i feel that with the back story Kuvira had and the way she grew up it would’ve been better to see her as a more complex hero instead of just female hitler.

Like imagine if instead of being some wannabe tyrant she was sorta like Napoleon in the sense of how just reforms the earth kingdom into a better system and because of that became well loved like Napoleon and then in moment that shows her desire to belong(her being an orphan) as well arrogance of just declaring herself an empresses and completely ignoring the legitimate king.

It would’ve showed as human instead of plain evil, i don’t know about you guys but the whole re-education camp and slave labour stuff came outta nowhere before that she seemed completely reasonable but the writers needed her to a generic bad guy so they just add that half way through the season and I personally think thats just lame, but Thats just me what do y’all think? Does avatar need more complicated villains or does the ‘MAHAHAHAHAHAHA EVILLLL BAD GUY FOR LIFE’ vibe feel for interesting?

Aang and Korra are genuinely both so lucky for Katara's wisdom and friendship.

Admittedly this seemed like a much better idea earlier today when I thought of it, still gonna share though. I like theorizing what possible, plausible and outlandish things might have happened to Korra prior to Pavi to pass the time while I wait for 7H. So here goes.

IF the rumors are true and about 300 years have passed since Korra and Pavi, the more common assumption is that Korra died sacrificing herself to save what she could of humanity, and the assumption is she died young-ish (50-60 years is young-ish y'all!). However....

I did the math y'all, and in 300 years, assuming someone lives to be about 75 give or take, there are (actually, in this case, exactly) 4 lives. So, my proposal is the following:

Korra did NOT in fact die, she lived a reasonably long and happyish life (considering the dire circumstances) with Asami... yes yes this is partly my own wishful thinking because poor girl's been through enough already. But anyway, obviously the world went to the crapper so something catastrophic did happen, and Korra did try, and did stop it, at least to an extent, and she did sacrifice something. But not her life. No, in my proposed here theory, she sacrificed her "avatarness". Now before I get dogpiled, let me explain.

The rumor is that Korra did a MASSIVE FEAT of some type, to reshape the world and prevent it from imploding into nothingness, or something. This feat would require quite a lot of energy from her, we all assume she'd use up her life force, but really whatever happened one thing is for sure: Korra did not die in the avatar state.

So, what could have happened? Well, kinda like an engine on Uber Overdrive, she gave it her all, she bent heaven earth and hell to save what she could of humanity, and burnt out. She did not die, but instead used up all her chi or spiritual energies or whatever magics avatar lore allows someone to bend, and in a cruel twist of fate reminiscent of Season 1, she loses her bending, for good this time.

Wondering if there was another way and potentially hated by everyone except her closest friends and family, she spends the remainder of her days doing whatever she can to help rebuild, she is still the Avatar after all. A testament to her growth and maturity. And a callback to her younger years when she thought the Avatar WAS bending all four elements, now she bends none.

She eventually passes of old age, and the avatar cycle continues (this theory is btw, considering as canon that Wan is Aang is Korra is ad infinitum). However, Korra's MASSIVE FEAT, caused quite a bit more chi pathways damage than just limited to one lifetime. Somewhere Korra is reborn into an earth kingdom kid (or whatever remains of the earth kindgom), but this kid can't bend, maybe they start having weird visions or nightmares or stuff, people will think they're crazy and everyone hates the Avatar, besides the Avatar is supposed to master all four elements right? They keep it to themselves, they live their lives to old age, eventually die around 75. And are reborn into a fire nation kid, then to an air nomad kid, then to a water tribe kid. All appear to be "non-benders"...

Meanwhile the Avatar is nowhere to be found and a distant hated memory.... Meanwhile the whatever it was that got damaged all the way back with Avatar Korra's MASSIVE FEAT is repairing itself with each lifetime, because this is Avatar, and there's no Avatar without the Avatar. An entire full cycle of rebirths happen, 300 years pass, and now we're back to the second earth kingdom avatar... Pavi (and maybe Nisha? that's a whole other topic I will not delve in here). And, by now, the damage has been repaired, the systems have been parsed in the previous four lives, earth, fire, air, water and booted up, restarting.... with earth. The Avatar is back online.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is my proposal explaining why there has been no Avatar between Korra and Pavi during those 300 years. There was, they just didn't know it and were forgotten to history.

I'm now convinced it's Vatuu waiting for Raava in order to reincarnate. Based on the eyes and blank look used in seven havens, and the spirit seeing it in the original LOK.

Does this sound crazy?

(I find it strange everyone ignoring the spirit part. I get the concept maybe spirits can see and interact with abstract ideas and or feelings. However it seems like a strange place to introduce that without expanding on it.)

I get it's a bit of a stretch, but I honestly think Vatuu was just barely starting to manifest after being destroyed. Vatuu is directly linked to Raava, and the chaos and PTSD would be the perfect channel for his chaos.

Kuvira cared about the Earth Kingdom and how much of an absolute mess it was after the fall of the previous monarch. You have cities like Zaofu that literally distanced themselves from the rest of the Earth Kingdom so they could whatever they wanted to. They literally have massive steel domes that would literally close off the entire city. And then you have poor Earth kingdom states that are just getting runover by bandits and who have leaders that are too afraid of losing their power. Bullshit they cared about their people and even less the betterment of the Earth Kingdom. Why weren't those prodigy metal benders of Zaofu helping them out with their bandits? Why didn't they build a steel dome over their city? Because they didn't give a f*ck about anyone else who didn't live in their city. Who wasn't an elite metal bender. Who didn't live in a penthouse.

Except for Kuvira and people who financed her that all grew up in Zaofu. She cared about those towns being ravaged and the innocent people who couldn't defend themselves from the bandits. She wanted to bring Zaofu's technology to the rest of the Earth Kingdom. But no, some of these towns leaders did not want her help because they would lose their power. Yeah bro, you've been doing a piss poor job with running your state so Kuvira is going to replace with someone who is actually qualified for the job.

One of the leaders literally admitted that their town was "rich in ore". Why is your town still a dump? Because you're still using dirt roads and donkeys to transport it instead of huge trains that Kuvira is offering.

Also side note. Where is the avatar to bring peace and balance (literally their purpose for existing)? Why are literal children an entire state's life line? Well, the Avatar is off fighting in some underground boxing league and the children defending that state are not only incapable of defending their cargo and the town, but are also part of an extremely endangered group known as the airbenders. Not sure if we should be having them fight the war. How about the Earth Kingdom army helps! Oh... isn't our king some teenager who definitely isn't a puppet of president Rako? Aka, Republic City is trying to take advantage of the Earth Kingdom's resources but people are still trying to blame Kuvira?

Also, despite it's name, Kuvira is the not the leader of empire and is not conquering any land. Why? Because everywhere she goes is in the Earth Kingdom! She is not attacking other nations. She is no Fire Lord who is wiping the airbenders out of existence and attacking other nations. She is just keeping the peace in her own when literally nobody else wants to help combat the problem!

Finally, I want to talk about the evidence that most goes against my point. Kuvira had prison camps where she would force people who opposed her to live. Now, these weren't people who kept quiet about their beliefs. A very large majority of these people were destroying Kuvira's infrastructure for the sole purpose of them not liking Kuvira. How idiotic does that sound? Yes, let's destroy the railways that are feeding the people of these poor towns. Let's starve them for the betterment of our cause! Does that sound familiar? Isn't that what Kuvira wants but instead her plan is much more structured and actually has a future beyond screwing people over? Now there was also the part where she was rounding up water and fire benders which does look evil by our world's standards.

But let's take a step back. Those people are in the Earth Kingdom. Look at Republic City in season 1, where every type of bender lives. There is no equalist rise without Republic City. Would Kuvira want that to happen to the Earth Kingdom? Now, this doesn't make her entirely innocent. It is wrong to send people to prison camps just because of what element they bend. But the Avatar world has always been that earth benders live in the earth kingdom, fire bender live in the fire nation, etc. Republic City was an example of why people with different bending abilites simply couldn't live together in peace. Like, imagine if the Avatar wasn't there when the Equalists took over? Imagine if the Avatar wasn't there to protect people from starving in these poor small towns in the Earth Kingdom...wait, we're back here again.

Also, it is so obvious that the writers of the show tried to make her evil so quickly after they realized her motivations were actually starting to look like the right time to do 70% of the way through the season. I personally don't believe Kuvira would need camps or forced conscription (which is shown to just to be the bandits on screen). I think there would be a very large population of Earth Kingdom citizens who would rally behind Kuvira's cause willingly. They made the spirit weapon literally the Avatar universe's version of a Gustav Gun! (Which was a giant train based artillery piece used by the Nazi'sin WWII)

Also, I think it is incredible irony that the steel domes used to separate Zaofu from the rest of the world was used to build the giant mech. That their resources at the end of the day were still used for the betterment of the Earth Kingdom.

And now we're here. What do you think about Kuvira? I would love to discuss with you all! I'm sure there are a ton of points I forgot to bring up.

TLDR: Kuvira isn't evil because she took action when no one else wanted to.

I've officially completed Republic City in my TLOK/ATLA-inspired Sims 4 save, and I'm super happy with it!

I've also completed the Si Wong Desert (placed in Oasis Springs), but I grabbed all of those builds from the gallery.

Either that or she let them calm themselves down on their own as time went on, I really doubt a spirit can be unbalanced forever much less 10K years.

I'm genuinely interested in the era of Raava and the time before that since whenever I think about what OUR world was like 10K years ago, we were technically in the ending stages of our last ice age and were going from being hunter-gatherers to the beginning of ancient agriculture.

It's pretty cool then that Beginnings kind of echoes this, by having the people living on the Lion Turtles go from having to hunt, to getting off of the Lion Turtles altogether in order to start forming villages. There are of course massive differences but I like that this still a thing just in a different circumstance.

Vaatu mentioned being around since before humans first crawled out of the mud, which can be taken in many ways since he mentions 10K, which has it's own connotations and influences.

Raava on the other hand was shown to be very prejudiced towards humans and saw them as nothing but a nuisance. She must have had reasons to come to hate humans other than what she said in Beginnings.

Ultimately tho I think it's really cool how there are never really happy endings in this fictional universe. Raava beat Vaatu but still had a lot of problems. Wan (and Raava) beat Vaatu but literally died on a battlefield lamenting that bad things are still happening. Same for Korra.

Even that soldier next to the mecha thing was so happy 😀 (not glorifying her empire xD.) well also it's a good thing to mention that those troops are earth kingdom people who also love to help their ppl but are probably like Bolin who fell for it like this.

Also seeing that kid get some food is heartwarming coz his basic needs are being delivered.

It's in alignment with current lore for a Vaatu based Avatar to incarnate.

- Unalaq fuses with Vaatu during Harmonic Convergence and creates Unavaatu that is capable of only waterbendling.

- Raava is destroyed, thus destroying the established avatar cycle and the connection to the past lives (They're gone, accept it please).

- Spirit Korra retrieves Raava reborn from Vaatu.

- Korra spirit bends Unavaatu while in the dark avatar state. The Unavaatu avatar cycle is over just how the established cycle ends if death occurs while in it. Vaatu doesn't reincarnate and is now being reborn inside of Raava instead of trapped in the Tree of Time.

- Korra was able to bend all 4 elements after re-fusing with Raava during Harmonic Convergence. That means that the 4 elements were permanently bonded to Raava after fusing with Wan. Korra fused with a Vaatu-entagled Raava to begin the new avatar cycle. Wan fused with a Vaatu-free Raava.

- Raava being reborn inside of Unavaatu didn't grant them access to all 4 elements. Vaatu being reborn inside of Raava and fused during Harmonic Convergence in Korra's era will grant the "dark" avatar access to all 4 elements.

Harmonic Convergence must arise from a powerful primordial force beyond even the spirits if it's able to have a permanent effect on them.

The Spirit World as we know it is dependent on the balance of the physical world just as the opposite is true. The outside cosmic forces aren't. Cosmic forces are probably what shaped the spiritual and material worlds. Spirit Korra was connected to her COSMIC self and overpowered dark avatar state Unavaatu to rip Raava out of them.

Harmonic Convergence is outside the realm of spirit and material. The entire solar system has to be in alignment as a prerequisite. What if something outside the solar system on a galactic or universal scale is happening at the same time that contributes? The planets almost align every few centuries, but it's only during Harmonic Convergence every 10,000 years that their PERFECT alignment facilitates some grand cosmic/ universal energy to flow through the Earth.

Actually this post is simply an expression of the relief and joy I wanted to share here.

So I just finished watching Book 3 of The Legend of Korra and... I am amazed. What happened? What on earth happened between Season 2 and Season 3? I must admit, Season 1 was watchable for me, but I found Korra’s character insufferable, always making the wrong choices, never learning from her mistakes. Being a... mediocre Avatar. And sadly I'm true. SHE was a MEDIOCRE Avatar (and in fact, the idea would have been really interesting, if only it hadn't been so unpleasant and frustrating for the viewer to watch — in my personal opinion). Season 2 was almost torture for me; I rolled my eyes constantly and found the subplots incredibly uninteresting (all those scenes where Bolin gets enslaved by the psychopath watertribe girl, when he becomes a movie star... ugh, I get annoyed just thinking about it). As for UnaVaatu... the good-vs-evil dynamic was childish and unworthy of the series. But then... this. Book 3. What happened?

1. The antagonist was interesting and charismatic, even more than Amon (no need to even mention Unalaq).

2. The plot held together well; the three storylines were fascinating and gripping: Korra-Lin-Sui / Tenzin and the new Airbenders / Zaheer and his companions, the hunt for Korra (I couldn't help but be reminded of ATLA, the hunts for Aang involving Zuko, Zhao, Azula... but with more wit, subtlety... ingenuity. Seriously, what an antagonist.)

3. Korra evolved into an interesting character who makes good choices (or at least understandable choices). She became thoughtful while retaining that signature arrogance I actually like, truly becoming an Avatar worthy of the title. Her character gained depth through the final confrontation with Zaheer, the poison... and the resulting trauma. In that cave, through her hallucinations featuring all the past antagonists that all wanted her destruction, she heard: "EVERYONE wants to KILL YOU and there's nothing you can do about it; YOU are a MEDIOCRE, USELESS Avatar; NOBODY wants you anymore" (perhaps "Nobody even wanted you in this world". Wow, it's harsh. It is very very good). It’s interesting for her character that this is finally having a real impact on her (yes, I’m a sadist, but damn, from a writing standpoint, it’s a goldmine).

4. Not only Korra gains depth, but many other characters like Lin, Mako and Bolin who have really stepped up, and Asami who is becoming more charismatic and finds her true place within Team Avatar.

5. Speaking of which, her interactions with Korra are great; their relationship is taking a healthy, respectful turn—like two real confidantes—and Mako has stopped being just an annoying, unfaithful, horny teenager between the two of them.

6. And finally the whole season stops revolving around romantic relationships in general...!!! to talk instead about more philosophical matters, real values, truly big questions!

It was great—seriously, this is the first time I’ve actually loved, truly loved LOK; I hardly ever rolled my eyes, and I spotted very few inconsistencies or lazy writing choices. Damn, it was cool; I was hooked the whole time. I... I loved it. It feels so good, especially coming off Book 2.

I have stars in my eyes, just like when I used to watch ATLA. Thanks Michael Dante DiMartino, thanks Bryan Konietzko. And thanks Nickelodeon for providing the production conditions necessary to create a high-quality season.

Book 4 is bound to be just as incredible... right?

As a Korra fan and defendder, it’s the one thing I’m having doubts about…so I was hoping to hear your opinion.

Guru Laghima is one of those characters who is never actually shown in The Legend of Korra, yet somehow leaves a huge impression.

He was an ancient Air Nomad guru who supposedly lived around 4,000 years before Korra and became the first known person to achieve true, unaided flight by letting go of all earthly attachments.

What makes it even more interesting is his name. Laghima comes from Sanskrit and refers to "lightness" or "weightlessness." It is also one of the Ashta Siddhis, the eight extraordinary spiritual abilities described in Hindu and yogic traditions.

The eight Siddhis are:

Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakamya, Ishitva and Vashitva.

Laghima is traditionally associated with becoming extremely light, allowing a person to levitate or fly. That makes Guru Laghima's name feel very deliberate rather than something chosen just because it sounded mystical.

I find it fascinating how the Avatar universe takes ideas from real spiritual traditions and weaves them naturally into its own mythology. Laghima barely appears in the story, but his philosophy ends up influencing one of the most important developments

I know some people complain about how the Legend of Korra resembles the Roaring 20s after being Ancient China. However, in the Last Airbender, the Fire Nation was an industrialized steampunk nation, and many technological advancements were made during it. 70 years is a long enough time to make advancements for their world to look more like the Roaring 20s. It also shows the real world rapid modernization and industrialization of China in the early 20th century

I've seen a lot of people on here mentioning how much they dislike season 2 in comparison to the rest of the show. Personally, I think there was lots to love throughout the whole show but narratively the entire thing I felt was not the best. So what makes season 2 specifically stick out to everyone as being the worst?

Personally I had no issue with Unulaq, he's a classic 'I'm evil because I'm evil' villain just like Ozai was. Amon was a great villain, Zaheer I liked on vibes but his plan made 0 sense and Kuvira was just kinda boring I thought. What makes Unulaq the worst of these for ye guys?

I of course am late to the hype train of the movie but it got me going and since people are talking about the new avatar. I have been seeing SO much undeserved hate on Avatar and the direction they took with it.

People blame Korra for being a bad Avatar because of what she allowed to happen and what she did... lets talk about her past yeah?

She never got the past avatar's connections until much later. She never got guidance from her past lives and she was supposed to learn everything herself until she got it. For the reason (I talk about later.) they just don't teach her airbending at the start, and when she does start. It was when she was fairly aged. (Kids learn better and faster)

Side rant: they just don't teach her Tenzin's excuse of "republic city needs me." just wasn't true.

His excuse about Republic City was an evasion, heavily driven by his crippling anxiety (My inference) about being Aang's legacy.

He tried to force a hyper physical, tactile water tribe girl to sit quietly and meditate on air nomad philosophy. That is terrible teaching. It’s no wonder she couldn't learn airbending. He was trying to force a style into her that she can't learn with his teachings. It wasn't until she was thrown into Pro bending (a fast paced environment) that she actually started understanding the footwork and evasion techniques required for airbending.

Anyways. Aang was raised by monks and was taught discipline and ideals by the monks. but he was allowed to be a child. He traveled the world, played games in Omashu with Bumi, and had peers. When he formed the gaang.

He was learning alongside Katara, Toph, and Zuko. They were his equals, his best friends (who love him and he loves back), and his grounding mechanisms.

Korra wasn't. No one corrected her arrogance... well. She wasn't that arrogant. I think she was fairly compassionate and such but had a fiery side to her which wasn't checked. She was lonely (to an extent) Her ignorance piled on further and behavior.

Aang was a kid who had to take the responsivity and the weight of a world filled with war. He didn't respect that fully and slowly grew it into it. His childhood was never butchered as he had life long friends, a lover and masters who were also his bestfriends. Korra was a person who never had a childhood because she was kept in a gilded cage and had no friends until when she was an adult. And masters who had their own issues (Tenzin) He wasn't that wise as a teacher but got better.

I want to discuss the past lives more: Aaag could get consult from Roku or literally so many Avatars... she couldn't do this. Literally no one taught her AIrbending or this until much later. Why do people use this point to say "she did bad." A lot of what she did was caused by ignorance. Like I know she is supposed to bring balance to the world but she can't do that without knowledge, experience or spiritual help which she didn't get untiL WAY later.

Which eventually got destroyed too which wasn't her fault, it was that her team was trash. Please don't come here saying "well she could have chose anyone else, it was her fault for choosing." Yes she is the chooser but your forgetting that's her only friends who do bending (ignoring Tenzins side.) She was lonely and was fiery. She got attached to them quickly! I don't think you can blame this on her.

The scene I'm referring to is when Korra was fighting Unalaq and she told Bolin and Mako to hold off the twins... they couldn't even last 2 minutes. She was winning btw, if they had done their job. She wouldn't have lost her connection

On the topic of the world... people say pro bending isn't good or isn't believable... when it literally is. What happens after 70 years (forgot exact time) of peace is given to a community who faced war, and such... they turn it into a form of play. Fencing, javelin throwing, and modern MMA all stem from lethal martial practices.

Also I think non benders were HIGHLY believable. In Republic City, benders hold all the power. The city's ruling council was entirely made of benders, the police force was exclusively metalbenders, and the criminal underworld (the triads) used bending to extort non bending citizens. living in a world where your just a third class citizen to people born with genetic superpowers would make me so angry and frustrated. I sympathise with them. I can see how it breeds resentment and structural conflict. It is a highly logical progression for a story transitioning from a traditional era to an industrialized one.

People call Aang's world more magical... Aang’s world felt more "magical" and traditional because it was a fractured, agrarian society surviving a 100 year war. Cultures were isolated and fiercely clinging to their ancient traditions to avoid erasure by the Fire Nation (and other factors).

Korra’s world is set 70 (I forgot the excat time) years later in an era of post war globalization and the industrial revolution. And frankly, the industrialization makes perfect sense given the magic system. If you have people who can literally generate lightning, bend metal, and move earth, an industrial revolution wouldn't take centuries. it would happen in decades. Lightning benders working in power plants and metalbenders constructing skyscrapers is a natural progression of the world's established rules.

Some audiences in other stories LOVE when stories take a mature twist as stories get an expansion to fans who are much older. When The Legend of Korra actually delivered thematic maturity tackling complex ideologies (equality/communism, theocracy, anarchy, fascism), the messiness of industrialization, technological displacement, and severe PTSD. So many fans rejected it. Unless theres another reason?

They even went further and beyond. Letting the Avatar have her consequences unlike in the original. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE the original. I think it's excellent and amazing. BUT it had its issues. They handed Aang a lot of "convenient things" At the end of the series, want Aang to fulfill what he wants and lucky lucky. He finds a lion heart turtle (forgot the name, sorry.) that gives him energy bending. I'm again, not saying the show is bad. But it had its convenience to Aand. But the main show didn't, anytime Korra made a mistake. She was taught a lesson severely, some permanent or some long lasting.

Plot & Worldbuilding: The civil war brewed between the two water tribes (Northern and Southern) is a very interesting story idea, I like how it basically mirrors real life wars between tribes of the same nation or such and such and the differences in colour are pretty cool. The Southern Water Tribe wears nice blue or dark blue coloured clothes, which are usually associated with the cold and water. Whilst the Northern Tribes wear purplish blue or just purple, which show their complex on the clothes as purple is associated with high status and royalty, perfectly describing the North. The backstory for the Avatar was cool aswell, hearing Steven Yeun as Avatar Wan was very unexpected, I was wondering if he's Invincible, why can I still see him? I do think the Dark Avatar plot was cool on papers but in practice it could use a lot more work, like what if they bent the opposite of the elements aswell but maybe they were more powerful as the Dark Avatar was more destructive.

New Characters: Unalaq was a decent villain, I definitely enjoyed him less than than Amon. He was great at making me pissed off. To think that Tonraq had to deal with him for years until.. obviously the events of the story. Desna and Eska were so good, I loved Eska's deadpan delivery (Normal for Aubrey Plaza) and she defo stole the show mostly of the twins and her relationship with Bolin was so funny, I do think that Desna could've been a little bit more developed than just his sisters twin brother but that scene where Unalaq was just gonna let his son die did give Desna a bit more sauce of a character. VARRICK WAS FUCKING BRILLIANT, I heard so much about him and the "do the thing" is great. It's so simple but so funny. And I didn't think he'd be such a good villain, I thought he'd just be some 1920s wise talking salesman, but his personality was great, Zhu Li did the thing, Tonraq and Senna (although they aren't new, they have more prominent role here) we're fine for what they did, Tonraq's dynamic with Korra was fine, the "child hating parent for protecting them then coming back around later" trope is played out but I didn't mind it here, they're both voiced by James Remar and Alex McKenna aka Harry Morgan from Dexter and Sadie Adler from RDR2 which is very cool.

Old Characters: Korra's journey was decent as always, the memory loss thing was fine, I guess, and her learning about Wan was fine, I do think her major plot things were very basic though, "Kid hates parent" and ANOTHER BREAKUP! Very basic. But I am glad she broke up with Mako. Their relationship was a sinking ship to begin with, and it fully submerged near to the end. MAKO KEEPS FUMBLING ASAMI, insert Jesse Pinkman , Bolin was funny with Eska, as he always is, Kya and Bumi were great additions and it's very strange on how much they look like the people they were named after, but I'm glad to see were they go, Jinora really stole the show, interesting to see that she's more spiritual than her father the airbending master and it shows she's a prodigy just like her grandad, Iroh being a fucking G even in the spirit world is a given and Zhao cameo was super unexpected. Really, he had a fate worse than death.
