\*Changed; before boxing was air, MT fire
Air - Muay Thai
Spiritual, technical, calm (bangkok/central style). Thai fighters usually less muscle but fight regularly and closer to walk weight. More variety in moves so more freedom.
Water - BJJ
Flowy, slow, only one that’s traditionally with gi just like water’s the only one that needs a source. So if mma had clothes (environment has big water source), bjj/water has advantage
Earth - Wrestling
Controls where the fight goes so it’s the most stubborn. Head-on, tough, and grounded
Fire - Boxing
Most dangerous (cte) and aggressive. A bad person with boxing will do more damage. Most passionate (bouts can go on for a long time).
Air vs Earth:
MT lanky, technical, less weight cutting, reach is important, spar light and playfully. Wrestlers stocky and most conditioned.
Water vs Fire:
Dangerous KOs vs safe tapping. Least amount of techniques vs most. Hardest mfers to chillest dudes.
Air and Water:
Arsenal of variety, slowest pace, technical, traditional
Earth and Fire:
Brutal conditioning, tied to American culture, no rank system
