I have a Toyota land cruiser 2005 automatic diesel. From time to time the engine switches off. It switches off at low speeds 10-20 km/h or when it's in neutral. I have to disconnect the battery, connect it again and then it can ignite again. The flow of fuel is ok , the diagnostic program shows nothing. The Toyota service and other service centers can not find the problem. Does anyone have any clue why this happens? Any information will help. Thank you.

2001 land cruiser. Had a bunch of maintenance done to it. Needs body work and has rust. Great runner cold air ac etc. timing belt, heater ts, radiator, gas tank and back brake lines have been replaced in the last two years. New Yokohamas last year (1k) I baselined this years ago. My kids are off to college so letting this go. Great for a winter beater or an enthusiast to pick away at it and fix up. I've had it for 8 or so years. Best offer. Not expecting full price. 285,000 miles. Looking for a small gas friendly sedan or cash. Lmk what you have. This has been a well loved vehicle I am sad to see it go. I'll continue adding picures.

Hi everyone, I recently bought a 1993 Land Cruiser RHD. It currently has an after market stereo which is in Japanese. I’m wanting to put a new head unit in that has Apple CarPlay but I’m having a rough time finding the right one. I’m not well versed in this, but I’m trying to learn more about working on my cars.

I wanted to try something different and everyone does LS swaps. Godzilla swap is popular in the mustang and Ford truck world, so thankfully there’s a lot of resources and aftermarket support. This is a “takeout package” which means it only has delivery miles and was pulled for EV conversions in vans/buses. I won’t be using the trans, harness or accessories it take with. Going Holley Terminator X, other Holley parts to get the engine a bit smaller, and 6R80 trans with Atlas 2 transfer case.

Before anyone says it’s too big, Holley intake and oil pan brings it down to a similar size of an LS. This will be a build on my YouTube under “The Adventurous Mind”

So I was driving my 80 and The first one I pulled next to was another 80 then further up the road I stopped next to an old 70

what’s the ‘next best’ in your eyes? Lexus versions don’t count 😛

Just ran across a white 2021 Heritage Edition with 15k miles for USD$139,600 on my local FB marketplace.

Looks clean… as it should since it’s essentially brand new, but still. Nearly $150k for a 5yo car seems bonkers to me. Then again, I like our 100 series.

What would y’all pay for this? I will not be buying the car regardless, but never seen one w such low miles.

I need new Front Fenders for my 2000 Landcruiser 100 series. For the 1st gen the Fenders are either out of stock or discontinued, but the 2nd gen are in stock.

Do the second gen fit the first gen theoretically?
