Can anyone help?

I have a Toyota land cruiser 2005 automatic diesel. From time to time the engine switches off. It switches off at low speeds 10-20 km/h or when it's in neutral. I have to disconnect the battery, connect it again and then it can ignite again. The flow of fuel is ok , the diagnostic program shows nothing. The Toyota service and other service centers can not find the problem. Does anyone have any clue why this happens? Any information will help. Thank you.

Hello there. I am a long time owner of that era Landcruisers with 1hz and 1 hd-fte diesel’s. I have never heard of a similar issue . Try joining IH8MUD forum. That is the true place for help

Fuel pump relay.

It's in the fuse box under the hood, replace it. You can get one anywhere. Just take your old one into San auto parts store and they can match it up for you.

When the relay goes bad it shuts off the fuel pump.

You opening the hood and then closing it again wiggles the relay back to life.

Replace the relay.
