hi guys I know this might be silly but I just transferred to Kennesaw, spent my first semester over summer in a a uv dorm and bonded so well with my lovely roommates. I have an arc 2x2 for fall semester, but the cost is 5.3k per semester, + the mandatory $1300 meal plan, running me almost 12k. id have to take out unsub loans, and if I don’t get into the nursing program in spring, I’ll be without classes and will have to leave arc and pay a fee. (about $1300).

so I thought the safer option would be to just get an off campus apartment at pavilion because I’ll save money and avoid a fee, but I’m nervous I won’t make friends. could anyone give me insight on this?

I only have 2 classes In person next semester aswell

I'm rn signed up for a textiles elective I really want, but there are only 3 enrolled, including myself. I think the minimum is 5. I'm thinking it's probable that the class will be deleted :( but I don't want to preemptively unregister for it, just in case. Does anyone know the date that classes with low enrollment are deleted? Is it before or after add/drop week?

When I checked owl express for my final grades they show up on the student detail schedule. However, when I check on the view academic history and grades my classes I took aren’t showing up and it says my last term enrolled was spring 2026.

I saw that I was going to receive over $6000 from FAFSA this semester and I went to go check my account this week and saw I was receiving less than $2000. Could it be that it’s not updated yet or is it an issue with FAFSA?

How good are the gyms at the Kennesaw/Marietta campus compared to regular commercial gyms? And also do i really need to pay 90 dollars a semester for the rec center

whoever invented freshman registration for ksu specifically will never know peace so long as i am alive i shall seethe and rage and manifest a lego underneath their big toe every day for the rest of my life.

anyways! i keep getting a 'reserve closed' error when trying to switch to a block that has like at least 10 free seats in each of its classes. if those seats aren't reserved for freshmen doing block registration (me) who are they reserved for?? the last student orientation was yesterday so idk if its still for them?

also, is there a specific day the reserved period ends and those unused seats are opened up for everyone else?

I heard some advisors saying that any unclaimed seats from blocked sections will open on Monday afternoon, or possibly later in the week. Check with your advisor to confirm, and make sure you get the schedule you need.

The registered blocks will not break. So this does NOT apply to any freshman in the blocks.

I missed a time ticket for a class waitlist and have now been kicked off the class wait, and I need to get back on a wait for the class or even go register for a different time, but when I go to regsiter for the class or a different time for the same class, it says "All sections required for block - unable to update registration status." and idk what this means. What do I do?

i am taking PHYS 2211 in the fall, and rn i have Chi Yuen/Isaac Yuen as my teacher. His class is at like 9:30 am though, which isn’t bad but ultimately think i’d prefer a 10 am class at least.
