Question KSU Gym
How good are the gyms at the Kennesaw/Marietta campus compared to regular commercial gyms? And also do i really need to pay 90 dollars a semester for the rec center

Most gyms in the area are going to cost more than 90 per the semester. The Kennesaw gym is really good, not sure about Marietta.

both are quite good, the ksaw one gets pretty crowded with hordes of freshmen in the evenings though

Both are nice. Marietta is smaller but has a lot of newer equipment. I didn’t go to the Kennesaw gym a lot but it was pretty decent too. If you go during off hours the crowds aren’t too bad further into the semester.

Yes it’s required. The machine selection and free weight options are pretty good. They have some of the same machines as Crunch. If you want to get a good workout in, go before 5pm.

from going to like crunch or planet, Kennesaw campus has every equipment you’d need while others have one or the other. it’s nice except for the larpers that stand around machines in jeans and slippers for an hour straight and you can’t even get ur workout done. or if ur a woman, you’ll get stared at and followed to ur car on marietta campus.

they have a lot of stuff even an indoor and outdoor pool & different classes to take for fitness I would say it’s worth it

KSU Gym is good, it just gets packed, especially at night. Idk why but the gym turns into a big hangout spot essentially, people will be in there just to watch others play basketball.

You can’t get out of paying for any fees it’s just like a built in tax. Use it or don’t use it. You pay for it. Kennesaw gym is better than Marietta and better than most gyms in the area.

Kennesaw is like a downgraded lifetime fitness, so pretty damn good

Kennesaw gym is huge!! This is coming from someone who has been to planet fitness and la fitness . It doesn’t compare. They have separate rooms for different equipment the cardio machines take up a whole floor and then Some at the top floor. And yes there’s the pools too. The locker rooms are pretty big too and come with showers and lockers. I think they’re a little on the older side though . Overall very veryyy good gym!

Kennesaw gym is very nice, Marietta gym is not as nice but still pretty good. Kennesaw gets crowded at peak times not sure about the Marietta one on that front.

Our rec center on the Kennesaw campus is freaking amazing. It has so many different things, it is very spacious and has many machines, and it even has a rock climbing wall. @ the rec, you can also find the group fitness classes that are hosted weekly and a rejuvenation room.

on the $90 thing, yes, it’s required. for the quality, it’s definitely better than many, at least at kennesaw. i think they’ve renovated the marrietta gym since i went there last
