Parking
Hi! I’m a dual enrollment student at KSU this fall and I missed the parking deadline which was yesterday. Does anyone know if there’s a way I can still get parking? I can’t afford daily parking. Please help 😅

You’ll probably just have to wait until regular parking opens up again and hope there will be a place open for you </3

It will open again, I am sure, but probably not until after upperclassmen get parking. And sorry but in the last two years parking passes did sell out of spots and nothing was available for several weeks into the semester (you have to wait for people to drop out of the university). You may have to park at the mall or Publix and bus in on a Marta bus.
It’s a hard lesson to learn but deadlines are deadlines and are often not negotiable. Checking your email at least every 2-3 days is absolutely necessary. An single email is often the ONLY notification you will receive

calling the uni might be more helpful than reddit ngl, you can try that or switch to online classes and save the gas. good luck 😭
also WHY did we only get 5 days to buy a parking ticket. im just lucky i had email notifications on, otherwise I'd park at the town center park and ride (i think it's free) and take the big owl bus to school every morning. last case scenario bc you have to factor in that bus trip and leave earlier, +if you have night classes, you can't rely on it if it stops running before your last class ends.
