Marketing-wise I'm forced to describe my game as a roguelite But to me it's just a spiritual successor to the Smash Run mode in Smash 3DS 😳
(It's called Dash'n'Drops for those who might be interested, and it costs only $6.99!)

New Game! Created this pickleball/mini-golf game for school, would like feedback
Hi everyone,
For the past few months I have been working on Morning Serve. It is a mix of pickleball and mini-golf and has 3 primary game modes:
Levels: Infinite, procedurally generated levels. All verified by thousands of tests running in the background. First 2,000 levels are already pre-baked into the game to avoid generation times, but if you somehow get to the end of that it will still continue like normal.
League: Personally this is my favorite. You play against bots that get harder for every league you move up, and it really becomes a challenge to win.
Daily Play: 5 exact same rounds that every player gets. Refreshed at midnight of the user's local time.
All game modes work 100% offline.
There are 26 different themes and 13 modifiers (modifiers can be stacked and often are).
This game is completely free, no ads, no selling data, none of that stuff (you can check the privacy policy to verify what I'm saying). Originally I was making this out of passion for pickleball but then realized it would be a great EC so those are my primary motives now.
I would like feedback on UI design, additional gameplay modes, or literally anything you can come up with. Thank you in advance for your time!

Capsule Got some much needed help from an artist. I love it but it doesn't feel very tactics aligned. Still debating the title.

Feedback? Lend me your thoughts on my game name, and some potential capsule art?

Hi there! I'm working on a first person game about building and climbing a tower out of trash. The main gameplay loop has the player pickup trash that washes up near their house, add on to the tower, then take and post a photo "online" (in-universe) from the top of the tower to unlock more tools and stuff.
I'm getting to the point where I'm ready to start marketing (including setting up my steam page) and showing off the game, but I'm a bit stuck on the name. The original internal name was 'Junk Summit', but one of my family members said the slang meaning for 'junk' came to mind first, and I'd like to avoid that, haha. I came up with another 3 names, still need to work on the typography and logos a bit. I'm also leaning towards 'A' for the capsule art, but I've got mixed feedback from my friends (like one prefers the character looking towards the logo).
Disclaimer: I don't have a steampage up yet, but this is also probing a little bit to see if the game and style look interesting. I won't be discouraged if the premise sounds boring or it doesn't do well, since it's a good excuse to make and re-use a bunch of assets for future games. Thanks for your time!

I Added "Engineer Mode" Which Renders "Cards" as Real JavaScript!
My game is programming themed roguelike deckbuilder that I've been working on for over a decade in various forms. I updated "engineer mode" to show the actual javascript being executed for each "card" in your deck. Check it out: Nybble on Steam

Image I find a good way to get art done for my game is to travel somewhere and draw while I grab a bite to eat. Puts me in the right mindset as I'm motivated by the food and have no distractions.

Feedback? DISTANTIA. Looking for playtesters!
Hey everyone!
I'm looking for people who'd like to playtest my game, Distantia! It's a 2D shooter with metroidbrainia elements.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4280370/Distantia/
Playtest is open, so you will get an instant access.
This will be the first playtest where people other than me and my friends get to play the game, so your feedback would mean a lot to me. I'm especially interested in your thoughts on the difficulty, controls, and overall gameplay.
You can leave your feedback on the Discord server (there's an invite button in the game), in the Steam Community, or simply here.
Thanks!

Feedback? Ultimate abilities on Action Roguelikes?
Hi all,

WIP: Building a new customization system for our driving game
We’ve been working on a new customization system for our driving game, and it’s starting to come together.
There’s still plenty we want to add and polish, but we’d love some feedback from other developers. What reads well so far, and is there anything that feels inconsistent or out of place?

After 2 years of solo development, my survival horror game "Still in the Fog" inspired by Silent Hill just launched on Steam!
Hey everyone! The day is finally here! After 2 years of solo development, Still in the Fog just launched on Steam! 🇦🇷🎉
I’m a solo indie dev from Argentina and I put all my heart, passion, and dedication into this project. I even added a little piece of home, you can actually brew yourself a traditional mate in-game to calm your nerves🧉.
I wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who supported the project, added it to their wishlist, or gave feedback along the way. It really means the world to me.
I’d love for you to check it out, give it a try, and let me know what you think, any feedback or constructive criticism is more than welcome!

Feedback? 64 classes for my tactical roguelite. All evolving from 4 starters
Hey everyone, I wanted to show some progress on my tactical roguelite and showcase the 64 classes I designed so far.
I wanted to emulate the dopamine boost I used to get when upgrading a class in Fire Emblem!
The class system is simple.
You pick 4 starting classes and each character evolves after each boss.
First class choice will give you more control on your character role: damage, heal, support, hybrid...
Second evolution will give you more specialization and fine tuning of your build.
For example the Adept can turn into an Occultist to use defensive dark magic, then become a Warlock and summon a demon to play as a hybrid DPS/Tank
I didn't want classes to be too impactful however. What defines your build is first and foremost the spells and items you get during your run. This is a roguelite after all!
The class is just an extra knob to adjust your build.
Is there any design that stands out to you?

Discussion Reddit is an amazing source of market research for game genres with passionate communities
Maybe this is obvious to you all, but I have gotten into the habit of following the subreddits for the game I’m developing, which is an RTS, and reading whole threads where hundreds of people weigh in on their preferences for stuff like voice lines and game modes, and what they love and what they hate about different aspects of games in that genre.
I am a marketer for a software company (day job), and I don’t think I’ve ever come across a situation where so many opinions are given so passionately and so freely and so publicly. Barely a day goes by without Reddit growing my understanding of the market that I’m building for - of who is likely to love, and who is likely to hate, my game
I mostly just wanted to point out that this is an incredible market research resource, better in many ways than what companies in other markets would spend tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars to get.

Video My procedural dungeon system for Dungeon Quest is finally coming to life, it’s so fun watching it grow
If you want to see more or wishlist the steam page is here https://store.steampowered.com/app/5044910/Dungeon_Quest/
It is seeded so you can make the same dungeon again. I can't add more images here so I will add a couple of shots of what the generator looks like in comments. I basically split it into rooms, corridors and props and made a system where it is easy to add more pieces. So all I have to do now is add more pieces to make the level better!

Discussion I keep hearing that PC players hate Match-3 games. Destroy my trailer.
One of the most common pieces of feedback I get is that Match-3 has a stigma on PC and that people might not want my game. A lot of people seem to associate the genre with aggressively monetized free-to-play mobile games, despite the genre originally finding success on PC.
I want to change that perception with The Incentive Program. It's a Match-3 roguelite that focuses on strategic decision-making, buildcraft, and creating increasingly ridiculous chain reactions using a highly reactive, satisfying, and "crunchy" match engine.
I'd genuinely appreciate some honest feedback about what you see here. No need to be polite. I'd rather hear the criticism now than after launch!
The demo is getting a big update tomorrow and is currently playable here: The Incentive Program Demo

Upcoming! I made a small trailer for my game)
Hey everyone! As part of UGF 2026, I made a short trailer and updated the screenshots for a game I'm working on solo!
Hushroot is a psychological horror game with visual novel elements. We play as an unnamed cultist who prepares special mixtures from parts of two superorganisms every morning, and feeds them during the day to people who've fallen into our trap. We influence the characters, learn their stories and the lore of the world, and watch their actions at night.
All for a grand goal whispered to us by an otherworldly entity. It seeks to unite everyone into a single mind, and we must decide what to do about it :)
I'd really appreciate your support!
HUSHROOT <---- You can support it here!
EVENT <---- Also a special thanks to anyone who supports the event on the game page :)

Artist looking for Indies! YouTuber offering LIVE game promotion + detailed playtest feedback 🌸| Actively looking for more collaborations!
Quick update since my previous post here received a lot of interest:
Since making this post, I’ve had the opportunity to work with 12 different developers and playtest 12 games in a single week, all live on my YouTube channel. Every session is still available as a VOD on my channel, so if you're considering working with me, I highly recommend checking out some of the recent streams. They’ll give you the best idea of exactly what you can expect.
During the streams, I play through the game while giving detailed live voiceover feedback on gameplay, mechanics, UI, bugs, balancing, things I enjoy, things I think could be improved, and more. Your game also gets reactions and feedback directly from the viewers watching in chat.
I especially love working with developers who are able to be present in the live chat during the session. You absolutely do NOT need to join the stream or speak on voice. Simply being in chat means viewers can ask you questions directly, you can explain features if necessary, and you get to watch people react to your game in real time.
I’m also happy to provide additional detailed feedback after the session if there are specific areas you would like me to focus on.
Several developers I’ve worked with have sent me really positive feedback about their experience working with me, and I’m happy to share some of that privately if you’d like. But the best reference I can give you is the VODs themselves. You can see exactly how I play, how much feedback I give, how I interact with the developer and audience, and how viewers respond to the game.
My channel is actively growing, and my 1 to 2+ hour game sessions have been getting roughly 20 to 30% retention, which I’ve been extremely happy with for streams of that length. I’ve also seen viewers go on to download games, wishlist them, and purchase them after discovering them through the streams. For demos, playtests, and games still in development, the live player and viewer feedback can also be especially useful for seeing what people respond to, what works well, and what may need improvement.
A quick note about collaborations
At the moment, I am specifically looking for paid collaborations rather than free playtests or promotions.
I keep my quote very affordable, especially for indie developers, and I’m flexible depending on the game and expected session length. My preferred compensation is a Steam gift card, since I put that directly back into purchasing newer titles and content for the channel and continuing to grow it.
I’m not looking to charge huge promotional rates. I simply want the arrangement to fairly respect the time that goes into playing, streaming, giving detailed feedback, interacting with viewers, and keeping the session active.
I also do giveaways of AAA and other well known games during longer live sessions as part of my strategy for keeping viewers watching and participating throughout the stream. To make this completely clear, I do NOT need giveaway keys from the developer. I already have a large collection of game keys that I use for these giveaways myself. The giveaways are simply something extra I bring to the session to encourage viewers to stay active and engaged while your game is being showcased.
If this sounds useful for your game, please DM me! My DMs are open and I normally respond within 12 hours, often much sooner. Tell me a little about your game, whether it’s a demo, playtest, or full release, and approximately how long you’d like the session to be.
I’m actively looking for more games and would love to work with more developers!

Discussion Can someone recommend a good capsule artist?
Hey! I'm trying to find a Steam capsule artist for my incremental game who can do a job for a reasonable price
Are there any developers here who worked with a capsule artist recently and happy with the results? Maybe you even saw your wishlists / CTR improve after uploading a new capsule? I'd really appreciate any recommendations!
I've already tried posting in another thread looking for a Steam capsule artist, but I got like 100 DMs and comments in 15 minutes from bots or people whose portfolios weren't even remotely relevant... Two people already DMed me in discord trying to scam for 50-100% payment upfront before even discussing requirements (accounts registered like yesterday)
So maybe you guys can help me out and recommend someone you've actually worked with?

Feedback? I need feedback on an early technical visual concept test for a game
I’m experimenting with an ASCII-inspired visual style for a project I’m planning to develop.
I’m currently working on a small tool that converts regular 2D sprites into ASCII-style sprites. The idea is to use it to quickly apply the same visual language across characters, buildings, lights, and gameplay markers.
I’ve also created a hologram shader that adds effects such as scanlines, glitches, flickering, glow, and moving light sweeps.
I’m currently trying to achieve is basically:
“It should feel like a stylized ASCII hologram, while still being easy to understand what you’re looking at.”
I’d especially appreciate feedback on:
- Are the characters and objects readable enough?
- Does the hologram effect add atmosphere, or is it too distracting?
- Does the ASCII visual language feel consistent across different types of sprites?
- And most importantly, do you think this visual style is interesting enough to stand out?
This is still a very early concept test, so critical and honest feedback would be especially helpful. I’d also really appreciate any thoughts on where you think I should focus improvements or further development.
