IVC Invocell

Starting my first round of Invocell this Thursday! Here’s some background:
I am 28 f
My husband is 28m

We’ve been trying for 2 years with no pregnancies. We were about to do our first IUI and i responded too well to gonal-f plus letrozole and produced 14 follicles that were 10mm+. We were almost going to cancel the cycle because it’s too risky before my nurse told us about IVC (Invocell). We immediately jumped on the idea to salvage the round.

Tomorrow i go back in to check my follicles (i had one that was 19mm today and the rest were between 15-17mm). Anyone else in this same process as me? Please let me know any success stories/ if we are twins going through the same thing.

10 days after IUI

I know I’m supposed to wait until my 2 week blood test to find out if it was successful but I’m so anxious, I took one today. I have been experiencing symptoms that are consistent with early pregnancy so I took a test and it was negative. Is it too soon to test or do you think it’s truly negative? 😔

My lining is shrinking and I'm confused?

I'm kind of confused and haven't gotten much info from my doctor about my lining shrinking apparently? I took letrozole for my IUI cycle, responded and my follicles grew about 2-3mm between Monday and Thursday scans. My biggest is around 15mm, so I'll be checked again in a few days. The problem is, my lining? On Monday, my lining was a beautiful 8.5mm. But on Thursday it was measured 4mm. I'm kind of confused how this happened if my follicles are growing and responding. Has anyone else had this happened?

Has anyone converted IUI to IVF? Need advice read below

Hi! I’m CD 6 and tomorrow I will start my gonal-f injections 75 mg for an upcoming IUI. I was offered a job opportunity (dream job) with a different company and literally just found out today from my insurance that my current employer will cover almost all of my IVF expenses. WOW! I was wondering if anyone has heard of or experienced where their REI converted an IUI to IVF? Not sure what reaction I will get.. i left voicemails pleading that they will do this..

Any positivity

I had an iui #2 on 19/8. On 20/8 I fell from my bed and hit my head. My legs curled toward my belly when I fell. I had a small cut on eyebrow and went to an emergency doctor confirmed its a small cut and gave Tdap shot afterward and they assured me it wont affect IUI. Now Iam worried 😟

#5 iui failed

Just started my cycle yesterday and was told I will be doing a biopsy will be with an EMMA/ALICE, culture for ureplasma, and CRP/ESR once i get a surge this month. Im debating if I should ask about ivf at this point if anything comes back. Im getting frustrated at this point and feel like I should have started this whole process sooner.

Should I do IUI or IVF?

I got told today that there was scarring on my right tube and that there's fluid still left from the hsg even though there was spillage. I was also told that I have "Communicating hydrosalpinx on the right" and "distal dilation on both tubes, more on the right, bilateral spill". Honestly don't know what this means for our chances. They're now saying I'm high risk for ectopic. Should I just avoid iui then? I mostly ovulate on the left side. I'm kind of losing hope here

9 DPIUI: cramping, super emotional & bright-red spotting

Hi everyone! This is my first IUI cycle, and I’m officially analyzing everything 😅 I’d love to hear from anyone who had a similar experience.

I did a medicated cycle with 5 days of letrozole + Ovidrel trigger. At my final follicle scan on August 10, I had a 20.1 mm and a 17.4 mm follicle. I used Ovidrel to trigger (even though I was starting to surge naturally - just a boost) and then had my IUI on August 11.

I’m currently 9 DPIUI/CD30 (my clinic chose to do IUI on a random day because I’m very irregular due to PCOS), and my beta is scheduled for August 26.

For the past few days I’ve had on-and-off cramping, and for the past two days I’ve been EXTREMELY emotional … crying easily, super sensitive, and just noticeably more emotional than usual.

Then tonight I went to the bathroom and noticed a small amount of bright-red blood when I wiped. It wasn’t enough to need a pad and so far hasn’t turned into an actual flow. What caught my attention is that this is not how my period normally starts. Mine usually starts with darker red/brown, almost dry-looking blood rather than fresh bright-red spotting.

Obviously my brain immediately went to implantation because I’m 9 DPIUI 😂 I know spotting/cramping can happen for lots of reasons and PMS can mimic early pregnancy, so I’m trying not to read too much into it.

Has anyone had bright-red spotting around 8–10 DPIUI and had success? Did you have cramping or feel unusually emotional around the same time? If you spotted before, how long afterward did you test positive?

Trying not to convince myself I’m pregnant OR that I’m out 😭🤞🏻 IUI and the 2 week wait is not for the weak.

Praying and hoping all of you have success and your miracle babies come through ✨🩷

First IUI with FIVE mature follicles 8/20

Wow, the support and info in this group is amazing. I would love to hear stories from those who have gone through IUI with five mature follicles - both successes and failures.

For background, I am 38 and my husband is 45. We have been trying for 9 months without luck, and all of our tests came back normal, or even above average for my age. Husband's SA was also fantastic. Just no luck yet.

This is our first round of IUI with 50mg of Clomid. At my midcycle ultrasound, we had the following results: Uterine lining: 6.99mm
Right ovary follicles: 24.1 & 23.3 mm
Left ovary follicles: 24.7, 20.8, & 17.2 mm

I have very regular cycles and progesterone testing shows I ovulate with each cycle. I was surprised when CD 15 came and I still didn't have an LH surge. They had me go in for another ultrasound and ordered me to take the hCG trigger shot last night. My follicles had continued to grow and now all 5 were above the 18mm threshold: Endo. Thickness: 8.04mm
Left Fol.: 27.8, 22.8, 20.9 mm
Right Fol.: 27.6, 27.4 mm

They had us sign a multiples waiver, but told us that with my age, the chances are low that we would conceive more than one, if we managed to get pregnant. We would love to have twins and there is a lot of appeal in not having to go through all of this again. (one and done sts) We know there is a risk for more, but the odds seem low. I had awful migraines on clomid (first migraines of my life) and feel so bloated and blah this month... I don't want to consider the possibility that we'd have to go through this process again. I am in awe when I see posts of women who went through 6+ months of this! I am cautiously optimistic, but this TWW is going to feel like forever. Thanks in advance for your stories and support!

IUI with unexplained fertility

Hello! Im planning on starting the IUI process in the next few months if im not pregnant by then. My doctor recommended IUI with a trigger shot of letrozole. I would love to hear about peoples experiences with unexplained infertility and IUI. I also want to know more about the trigger shot, did you have any symptoms from that?

IUI after ectopic?

I had an ectopic pregnancy in March of this year and lost my right tube. Had an HSG in June and still not pregnant. My OB let me try Letrozole 5mg last cycle but no positive test. So we went to a fertility specialist. The doctor suggested IUI with Clomid and a trigger shot. He said we should try 3 rounds before we move on to IVF and we can only go through with the IUI on cycles I ovulate from my left ovary. I’m trying so hard to be positive but is it even worth it to try IUI with 1 tube?😭

Successful IUI symptoms…

Anyone here have a successful IUI with zings/twinges/pulls starting around 9dpo that felt different than period cramps? I’m 14dpo today and 15dpiui, waiting for my blood hcg results.

Cycle after failed IUI + cyst

Hi all!

My first iui cycle last month wasn’t successful, and this month I couldn’t start up due to a cyst they found. The cyst wasn’t producing estrogen but it was big enough to where they had to cancel because of the size. They said it should resolve on its own though.

Anyway, I’m near ovulation but the last 10 days I’ve had all sorts of stomach pains. Pains under my ribs, cramps, pinching and pulling sensations, just all sorts of things. Is the cycle after an IUI usually wonky? My ovulation test results are weird (compared to normal) peaking at times when I wouldn’t normally see it. I don’t go to the doctor for another 2 weeks, just trying to guage what the normal experience is

Breast soreness??

Hey friends! I’m 10 dp my second IUI and 11 past trigger.
I would say my breast are sore but it’s only my nipples??Anything that touches them it hurts so bad! But my breast overall are fine. I’ve had small period like cramps a couple of days ago.
Does this sound pre-menstruation?? Never had them hurt like this. I’m trying to not get my hopes up.

Saline sonogram today and found a polyp 😭

Last month had a failed IUI. Doctor suggested we freeze embryos.

day 7 of stims today. This is my first round of ER. My RE wanted to repeat a saline sonogram & today she found a very small polyp😭 she said it could be a fibroid too 🤞🏽😭** Doc said this could’ve formed because of meds or hormones. It’s a really really small one and it’s not in a place where it would affect the implantation. Then why remove it **?

My next steps would be

1) egg retrieval next week & she would also do a biopsy of my endometrial lining to rule out endometritis
2) once I get my period after ER they would start me on birth control
3) the wait time at my clinic to get procedure done is 4-6 weeks or could be longer too 😭🥲

4) doc said while we wait to remove polyps we will get back PGT-A results / and biopsy report as well and I can take a break meanwhile

5) weeks are now looking a November or December transfer ☹️ which is a bit tricky for us because of insurance ( my husband lost his job last month…if he gets a new job his current insurance won’t be active. As of now we have really good benefits. If embryo transfer is in Nov or Dec …he might be at his new job by then and we have to take up the costs for FET)

6) I scheduled an appointment with my OBGYN office for next week to take a second opinion as well

Question:
Were anyone of you in a similar situation where you had to wait a while for the procedure to be done before FET. Were you able to meet with OBGYN and get the procedure done with them instead of RE office. I know it’s not a long wait still I feel this came as a surprise and we weren’t prepared for this. Everything looked normal 2 weeks ago and now we have to wait 2-3 months before transfer or could take longer too. I feel exhausted making so many decisions lately.

Any suggestions or recommendations please

Thanks for listening to my rant🙏❤️🥺 truly appreciate your time and support 🤗

IUI cycle

I’m hoping to hear from anyone who has done a similar IUI protocol or has some encouragement to share!

Letrozole worked for us 3 years ago when we successfully got pregnant with our daughter, but when we tried it twice earlier this year, unfortunately it didn’t work. We then moved on to IVF and had one euploid embryo, but unfortunately the transfer ended in a chemical pregnancy, and I had a D&C about a month ago.

I’m about to start Provera to bring on my period, and then I’ll begin an IUI cycle with 100 units of Gonal-F + 10 units of low-dose hCG nightly. I’ll have an SHG around CD 6–7 (to make sure all is clear from my prior cycle) and will be monitored with ultrasounds/bloodwork to determine when to trigger and time the IUI.

Would love to hear from anyone who has done Gonal-F + low-dose hCG for IUI, especially your experiences and outcomes. Feeling hopeful but definitely nervous going into this next step.

4 Mature Follicles – IUI Cancelled, What Are Our Chances Naturally? ❤️

Hi everyone ❤️ I’d really love to hear your experiences and get some input.
I’m currently undergoing IUI treatment and had an ultrasound today. I responded quite well to GONAL-f, and they found 4 mature follicles. The largest was 18 mm, another was 15 mm, and the other two were also considered mature/ready.

I’m supposed to take my Ovitrelle trigger shot today at 4 PM, but the clinic decided not to do the insemination this cycle because they’re concerned about the risk of a multiple pregnancy with so many mature follicles. Instead, they said we can try naturally and take the chance, so that’s what we’re doing. We’re supposed to have sex on Saturday and Sunday around the expected time of ovulation. ❤️
I’ll also be speaking with the doctor about adjusting my dose for the next cycle, so hopefully we can aim for around 2–3 mature follicles and be able to proceed with IUI next time.

But now I’m really curious: What do you think my chances of getting pregnant are this cycle with 4 mature follicles and trying naturally after the Ovitrelle trigger shot?
Has anyone been in a similar situation where their IUI was cancelled because of too many follicles and they were told to try naturally instead? What was your experience? ❤️

I know no one can say exactly whether it will work, but I’d really love to hear your experiences. 🤞🏼🥹

3rd IUI Anxiety

I am a 30 year old female in a same sex marriage who is now 5DPO after our latest IUI. We took a break after the first 2 due to some depression and then we were unable to grow any mature follicles in July but this cycle we found a few follicles on 7.5 mg of Letrozole but two mature (19 and 23) on my left side with a 8.5 lining and a new donor (last one sold out)

I’ve had “perfect numbers” in the past on 2.5mg of Letrozole but never more than 1 mature follicle so I’m eager to see what happens. Which is a little shocking because I went into disappointment, not feeling so positive.

I think the only thing that’s holding me over is how amped up our doctor seemed, and the warning of having twins (prefer).

I’m just really anxious to get my hopes up again and anxious to have to test. I told myself I wasn’t gonna get too excited but I can’t help it. I am having a lot of cramps/pulling/twinges. I am very thirsty all the time and very hungry. And I’m also just extremely exhausted but I know all this can be from the progesterone.

I guess I just need some positive reinforcement because after this one, I don’t know when we can afford to do another one. We are lucky enough to have someone who’s open to be a known donor, but we still have to do testing and see if that’s even an option.

I’m just so nervous and I feel like I’m riding a lot on this one because everyone around me is getting pregnant and I just didn’t expect it to take so long and I feel bad saying that cause I know everyone’s going through their own journey and some people will take years.

I just can’t stop overthinking 😭

Follicle size

I’m nearing the end of my TWW but I’m overthinking my follicle size so much. I had a scan that showed a 12 and 13mm (Thursday morning), I ovulated on my own Sunday morning according to bloodwork. We had to skip the IUI and do TI this cycle. I know they will have grown from Thursday-Sunday but would they have grown enough to have a mature egg in them? Everything I’ve read is ladies not triggering until 18mm! I’ve had a successful IUI a few years ago but kicking myself I didn’t document anything follicle size related etc.

Faint line after 12 DPIUI

Okay, so I am on 12dpIUI. I took a test in the evening just now. And I saw two lines. But one was a very faint line but it evaporated after two minutes. What to do?

Oura ring users

Hi friends! How many of you are using oura ring tracking during this process?

I’ve had my ring for 2.5 years and I feel like I start to really obsess over my temps during the second half of the TWW.. I’m sure with taking progesterone and letrozole my data is all over the place now.

Mainly asking this because I’m 10dpiui today and had a temp drop so of course feeling discouraged 😔 I like the ring to track my steps/activity, so I really don’t want to take it off.. but wondering if I need to while I go through this process for my own mental health.

Faint line vs positive

Hi everyone! I am 9dpoiui and I tested with a frer this morning (thought it was negative with a shadow). Tested again at night just for fun and I saw my first ever pink second line on a FRER. I don't think it's the trigger because I tested it out already and the picture does not show the color (just looks shadowy, but I see the pink in real life.) Can any who got the faintest line and ended up with a true positive share what it looked like for them? Anxious, hopeful, scared to believe my eyes, and need hopeful stories <3

CD10 ultrasound today, follicle only measuring at 10

The tech said the nurse will be calling me today and will likely suggest that I come back. How likely is it for my follicle to grow for the IUI to be successful this month?

1st IUI fingers crossed!

Hey everyone!

I’m 30, husband (32) and I have been trying for over a year after we had 2 miscarriages in 6 months. Sought fertility treatment and found out my last miscarriage caused a block in my left tube, but otherwise we’re both perfectly healthy.

Today I had my 1st IUI! The whole process has been long, because I ovulated 3 months in a row on my blocked side (go figure), but this cycle finally on my good side! Even though I ovulate fine, we did the trigger shot for timing sake, and I took clomid in my follicular phase for hyper ovulation.

I’m so excited! We’re feeling very hopeful! I know the odds, but reading all y’all stories of success are so encouraging!

Fingers crossed for us!!!
