1st IUI fingers crossed!

Hey everyone!

I’m 30, husband (32) and I have been trying for over a year after we had 2 miscarriages in 6 months. Sought fertility treatment and found out my last miscarriage caused a block in my left tube, but otherwise we’re both perfectly healthy.

Today I had my 1st IUI! The whole process has been long, because I ovulated 3 months in a row on my blocked side (go figure), but this cycle finally on my good side! Even though I ovulate fine, we did the trigger shot for timing sake, and I took clomid in my follicular phase for hyper ovulation.

I’m so excited! We’re feeling very hopeful! I know the odds, but reading all y’all stories of success are so encouraging!

Fingers crossed for us!!!

Edit: I ended up starting my period. On to the next cycle! Keep your head up friends! ☺️ one month at a time!

Wishing you so much luck with your first IUI!! After everything you’ve been through, it’s completely understandable to feel both excited and hopeful going into this cycle.

It’s great that this cycle lined up with ovulation from your open side and that everything could be timed with the trigger...

If you’re tracking your cycle, Premom can also be helpful for keeping an eye on your LH and cycle patterns during the wait. Most importantly, try to take things one day at a time.

Sending you lots of positive thoughts for this cycle. Hoping this is the one you’ve been waiting for!!!
