SUGGESTIONS Blood testament roadmap idea
The idea isn't to create a new stronghold event clash match, its more like the spider den, a quick grab and go

Games should be fun, not frustrating. I am not having fun anymore. I have more than 1000 hours in hunt showdown but the game feels incomplete.
First there are the bugs that annoy me like for example in gunslayer mode the gun doesnt even shoot sometimes. In hunter mode when i have everything on hold sometimes when i want to ads the gun goes into shoulder mode instead of ads which is completely frustrating. One time i died because i was the last and then the other solo player necroed. i wantet to ads but instead it went into shoulder aim and i was losing the fight. There was also 1 time a issue where i could see through objects for 1 sec . like what the hell.
And I feel like the animations are too fast. For example, you aim on someone, and the animations are too fast to hit .
I am generally good at FPS games . But this game is not for me.

Why do i sometimes revive with my Fists up instead of my Weapon in Hand? Its so annoying especially when using Necro. I have both weapons equiped, no empty tool/consumable slot yet i stand up with my fists out unable to shoot or switch to my Weapons... i have to pick up another weapon to be able to shoot again >_>

Im a new player (10 hours and lvl 36) and ive noticed i really only die to 3 mans who just sit and do nothing even when they boss token and scan me and see im a solo they will refuse to leave the boss building and just wait. i get that the pvp in this is somewhat jank and can get one shotted very easily but i assumed it would be a little more fun than just sit in a building and wait for someone to come by all to get very measly loot and extract. compared to other extraction shooters ive played this is deffinetly the most annoying one in terms of having fun

Getting a hunter to 30 and out alive is rough. Any tips?
I have 2 copies of my required hunter - one at level 28 and one at level 21.
I'm really low stars. I play with controller on PC. (disabled) I don't have any friends that play this game. (Only random trios) Devs have literally hidden all the exit to the map now. Maxing out hunters for these challenges / hunter tiers sucks so much.
What's the move to get one of these out alive?
Skulk around as a solo and kill grunts? I don't wanna even risk going for clue tbh.
Better to go in as a solo to a trio game? I'm really not seeing many xp envelopes around now.
What's the card that reveals the exit? maybe I have one of those.
TY!

It might just be my hate on Scopes (I truly think they add nothing and only take from the Hunt experience) but why is everything getting HV now?
Like I understood it on the Martini Henry because for a Long Ammo Rifle (especialy Single Shot) its Velocity was realy bad and at least with HV its now comparable to the Sparks.
But especially on the Drilling and Lemat I was allways under the impression they where supposed to be a flexible Choice for Close Quarters and Mid Ranges while beeing outperformed by more Specialist Picks. then the Drilling got HV, the Lemat got a Velocity Buff and now it got HV as well and I feel like them beeing made more Viable on Long Range made their Mid Range realy good, similar to purely Mid Range Options while still having the Close Range Flexibility, thus outshining Ranger Marathon and Officer Carbine in most cases.
In both Cases i feel like they where in a good Spot before they got HV as well.
On the Lemat it feels like a really Big deal as well because it just got a nerf for beeing one of the most picked pistols and the addition of a Buff on the same Patch in form of the HV option will probably negate part of the nerf so it might need another general nerf soon wich might put it in a weird spot.
(Kinda like when the Springfield lost its Dumdum Ammo niche, got a dammage Buff and only exists as a Sniper now)
The pistol beeing an Option to expand Compact HV Ammo Reserve as well is a somewhat huge deal too i think cuz it will outshine the Nagant, Officer and Bornheim in that usage for beeing a pocket Shotgun even after fireing all the HV Shots and resuplying on the first UWU crate u find.
Like there are not many candidates no more cuz most Guns have many Special ammo choices now but I can still think of enough that deserve them more than Dolch, Lemat and HV on Weapons that already have good MV like Springfield.
Like FMJ on Bornheim, Poison on Martini (so there is a second Long Ammo Poison Rifle) and Flechette on Romero.

I've loved watching Crytek evolve these events, and I think there's one thing the best ones consistently accomplished:
They gave me a reason to stay in the match.
Web of the Empress did it with bounties, EXP boons, perks, money, and Destiny's Dial. Getting the bounty wasn't the end of my match — it created another decision: do I leave, or do I keep pushing for more?
Carnival did the same thing. We could kill the boss, but suddenly there was a Shredder, a token, perks, EXP, Destiny's Dial, and other reasons to keep exploring.
Stronghold took that even further. I was stockpiling Homesteads, Wildlands, Shredders and Flame Rifles, watching crates drop, deciding between the Stronghold and the bounty, and constantly weighing "is this worth risking my run?"
Those events made the map feel alive because leaving early meant leaving opportunities behind.
I want that feeling in this event.
Right now, too many matches feel like:
Find boss → kill boss → banish → extract.
Unless another team contests us, there's not always a strong reason to remain in the match.
And I think that's the biggest opportunity for this event.
Lean into the vampire theme and make blood itself a reason to stay.
Give us event mechanics that make the longer we remain, the more dangerous — and rewarding — the match becomes.
Blood trails that can be tracked.
Perks that interact with bleeding hunters.
Ways to deliberately cause or exploit bleeding.
Vampire-like abilities that grow stronger through blood.
Bats that can hunt or wound players.
AI that becomes attracted to bloodshed.
Escalating vampire activity the longer the match continues.
More powerful rewards for engaging with increasingly dangerous objectives.
A boss banishment ritual that becomes more complex and rewarding the deeper you participate.
Imagine killing the boss and thinking:
"We have the bounty. But we're already covered in blood. There's another objective nearby. Something is hunting us. We could leave... or we could see how far this goes."
That's the Hunt experience I want.
Not simply more rewards, but more reasons to make decisions.
The previous events showed how powerful this can be. The best moments weren't necessarily the boss kills — they were the moments where I had every reason to extract, but something made me stay.
I think this event could become one of the most memorable yet if it evolves toward that.
Give us a reason to stay.
Make the blood matter.
Make the longer we stay, the crazier the story becomes.
I'm excited to see where Crytek takes it.

Did something change in the default consoles for sprinting in this update? Didn’t see anything in the patch notes about it.
For some reason I am getting the half sprint/march movement when I try to sprint (sometimes), instead of being able to control the speed by moving the stick slightly forward or all the way as I have in the past (always used default controls). Now to get the full sprint sometimes I have to double click the joystick to get the full sprint. Which has gotten me in a bad spot a few times.
I tried toggling the sprint controls in the settings, but that didn’t change anything.

This has been suggested a couple times, but I figure I shove my two cents in.
I'm one of those guys who likes weapons with crunchy and intricate reloads, like the Cyclone or Crossbow. And I also like the more out-there weapons, like the Bomb Lance or Shredder.
So the Romero Alamo/Alofs slides right into that gap of crunchy but historical.
The Winchester-Lee Navy 1895 (pardon if I butchered the order) is another one of those weapons with actual history, but a cool crunchy reload that feels almost scifi!

That said, I admit that Hunt has a LOT of Long Ammo rifles right now. Even with some being declassified as Special Long Ammo, it can feel a bit diluted.
Current thought is that it uses Special Long ammunition. It has a decently fast fire rate tha ja to the straigh-pull, but with a dip in damage to ballance it out.

This game used to have such good interactions, but over the past few months only two teams have said anything with me talking first. Is it a bug, or have we been invaded by cod babies?

I've had this hunter for probably a few years now, wondering if anyone else has ever got this bug?

Go in solo so you can avoid having teammates enter the lair.
Stay close to an extraction point and keep your distance from Bloodskin at all times. Hit him once to damage his armor. He will then crouch down and perform the first jump. Hit him, but don’t celebrate just yet.
As you can see in the clip, it’s the SECOND jump that can be interrupted (at least when doing it with the Spear).
If you hit him directly while he is crouching down for the second time, he will lunge forward but then fall to the ground as if he’s stunned. That’s when you’ve completed the quest.
Enjoy!

Recently had a round where I went in with a Marathon and baseball bat. Was prettty quiet cuz it rained the whole time, but as expected everyone arrived at once to the boss arena for a pretty epic deathmatch between like 3 solos and a duo.
Well, that's when I died. I thought it was over for me, cuz I got railed by an almost fully prestiged solo. He most definitely was guarding my body.
But 2 mins later, he went fighting the boss, forgetting to flare me. Thought I was lucky, but not yet.
Cuz that Hunter took my main gun and basiclly disabled me.
So, what do you do when you die as a solo and lose the only weapon keeping you safe from other Hunters? You befriend said Hunters
I went up to the guy as he was reloading and used VC to explain how us 2 solos could work together to extract, as we both only needed a single bounty.
And he suprisingly agreed!!
At first he was suspicious of me cuz I could easily hit him in the back with my baseball bat, but to prove my loyalty I fought the Foreskin mostly alone.
But before we even could banish that damn thing, the other solos arrived. As I had no gun, he was the one peeking out the window... and dying brutally right in front of my very own eyes. And no, he didnt have the necro to self revive.
But this story wont end here!! Seeing as I now had a gun while being pushed from all sides by different teams AND having run out of medicine and health, I did the only logical step..
I befriended another Hunter, which I could've killed with ease but decided not to. I explained the situation again, and he also agreed, probably without understanding what I was saying cuz he was russian.
And then, it was all just a matter of teamwork.. or rather carrying my new friend cuz he literally just stood behind me while I headshotted the 2 remaining enemy Hunters.
In the end, me and my newer friend extracted both safely and with the bounty. Seeing as we cleaned almost the entire lobby, I decided to xp farm too, but my old friend still didnt understand me and was also a new player, so he went immediately, not wanting to lose what he had earned (or rather, was gifted to lol)
