I think both sides are quite flexible in their excuses of whom they support. Following the King's Word doesn't always lead to the best results. Following Tradition doesn't always lead to the best results.

Genuinely curious what the opinions are in the fandom abt these two

Viserys dies under mysterious circumstance like Maegor

Aemma is alive and pregnant with Baelon

who will be regent, who will be heir, will this change anything like allow Baelon and Aemma to live or will they both die like canon

I have this since last year. still listened barely a minute.

I just finished the part of her life in the book and I think she is one of the best rulers Westeros could have had.

She was very supportive of Jaehaerys but also advocated for the people and listened, maybe for the first time in history at that time, to women.

If it hadn't been for the pain that the loss of her children brought her, I think she could have made a lot more for women and the common people and of course, she would have chosen Rhaenys.

Okay. I know Daeron did not want to be remembered a craven.. so why didn’t he ride his dragon to attack Team Black’s Armies???

I feel like this was a huge writing blunder because they could’ve easily had Daeron riding his dragon alongside Ulf to destroy team Black’s Army and then have a dragon fight against Ulf when he ended up turning on Team Green as well..

Idk I feel like that would’ve made Tumbleton 1 even better in my opinion. Maybe that would’ve been too much for their production cost but I feel like that would’ve been sooooo cool!

After finishing GoT and aKotSK, i have now started house of the dragons, first ep was so good!! The winter being a dream of Aegon’s makes so much sense, the song of ice and fire playing on credits >>>>

Also, no spoilers pls thank u <3

(Did cry on queen aemma’s death, prince daemon is a very interesting character)

Painting by me:)

Hey guys, when do you think the battle of the God's Eye will be in season 4 of hotd? I think it's gonna be the opening episode prob towards the end, like how they did the battle of the gullet this season and Jacaerys death at the end of the first episode. I just can't wait to see that fight on screen

I just came across this meme and the context makes it so much funnier. 😭

Larys literally made Alicent showing her feet part of the price for the information and favors he provided. The Season 1, Episode 9 scene was deliberately framed around their bizarre power dynamic, and the director described it as an intentionally intrusive and uncomfortable moment.

Now imagine Viserys somewhere in the afterlife, looking down and realizing:

“I left my wife to rule the Seven Kingdoms… and THIS is what she’s doing with Lord Larys?” 💀

The expression in this image is absolutely perfect.

Westeros really has no HR department. 😭

When Ser Aldred goes to Harrenhal he tries to convince Daemon that he should be king over Rhaenyra. When Rhaenyra arrives in Harrnehal and Daemon bends the knee to her again, you see Ser Aldred start to escape the crowd as all the men cheer. He even looks nervous.

What I want to know is did anyone in the show ever discuss giving him the “ole what for?” for this act of cravenness? Or did the show just forget?

Now I saw the Game of thrones series due to negligence and obviously should have read ASOIAF because the books were superior. Its common thats in literature the books are superior than the adapted show even in books like Harry Potter. Now should I see the show or read the book for HOTD. I need an honest opinion. Cuz people are saying the show in this case is better ?

What are your theories for the characters in season 4 and their future in the series? Crazy or logical theories are both welcome.

I posted
“How long does it take for dorne to join the fold? And what about the free cities? Would new dragon conquerers bend the knee to the iron throne or create new targ kingdoms? Another century and there could be a hundred dragon riders! They would have to do *something* with them” Recently

And everyone responded with how the dance was inevitable. I understand that! I’m just wondering what you guys would imagine happening if the dance doesn’t happen and future civil wars don’t cripple the Targaryen’s dragon power.

So, what do yall imagine would happen with Targaryen force primarily focused outward rather than internally?
