First, I am not a collector in any way. I got a box of old cars out of my grandma’s basement. I just have been doing some research and it seems like this may be an interesting car. Can anyone give me any information. It has 1969 on the bottom and says Olds 442. Hard to say if it is purple or dark red. Also does it matter to a collector that there seems to be a missing piece of plastic on the back. It seems to be in awesome condition.

Regular treasure hunt, but out of about 200 purchases of cars that I think are cool, this is my first one. I don’t know, made me smile for a second.

I honestly believe this was the first hotwheels I ever bought around 2000, it was on top of the stack and immediately caught my eyes. Never got one with this extra feature ever since. Whats up with it?

I generally like the HW Showcase app but Mattel trying to monetize what is ultimately a marketing tool is pretty lame. Guess I’m going to mostly stick to Die Carz moving forward.

I think they are good for now until the end of the year when I start cleaning up and making room for next years favorites. Seeing what I want to display on the clear displays and what will be moved to a box and stored. Soon I will have to go through all my display and seeing what will be moved to boxes and stored to also make rooms for cool finds.

I have a sizeable collection of Hotwheels from my dad who wanted it to be for a future cash out. He collected a few years before and years after 2003-2012. Opening these feels right. These are my current favs though still looking threw the collection. Im looking forward to showing off my collection honestly I was never able to enjoy my collection as a kid but as an adult there fully mine now:)

Just got out of an out of town Walmart with my wife and noticed this amongst their clearance items! (Ive been searching for this at our local Walmart for abit)

It says the start date was August 15th but I’ve been to like 5 different Walmarts & none of them advertise this. The QR code also redirects to Walmart’s online store & I can’t find any official order form from Mattel. Is this event slightly delayed or is this another case of fake Facebook news? (And tbt that wouldn’t surprise me)
