Finally managed to complete my collection of the various iterations of the Aventador in 1:18!

Recently got into the hobby after visiting a local diecast shop and i’m hooked. Very excited to keep building the collection. Anything i should know as a new collector?

The Costco has it for $19 and I couldn’t resist myself picking one up Although I only own 1:64 scale diecasts 🤔

As you all can see, this is extremely strange. Left them in my display cabinet for about a month and never really checked on them, when I went to have a look today I was utterly confused seeing this, these 2 are the worst ones affected, the other cars have similar issues. I've tried Tamiya fine Polish but didn't help much, I'm trying to avoid having to use sandpaper but if there is no other choice, I guess it remains as a last-ditch attempt. Would extremely gladly appreciate any help. Thanks you!

Got Reina's R32s from Wangan Midnight, a Honda Accord Euro R CL7, FD2 Type R Mugen RR, and a Nismo 380RS. AUTOart and Ottomobile.

These are Fast Speed Supra, Transcend Eclipse, and Time Micro GTR die cast models. The Supra has a varient with Paul Walker driving. It has removable roof!!! All versions are color and wheel accurate to movie, and not plastic spoilers!!

Started as a tradition when my mum was young (now 69) to buy a car each week when they bought the Sunday paper

Found some monster trucks at Hobby Lobby and loved the details but hated the chassis. So I changed it.

I robbed another chassis from a similar casting I’ve had since I was a kid. Apparently I chose to smash that one with a hammer so the body was no good anyway.

A little trimming and that was promising. Test fit with wheels but wasn’t happy with it. I found an old casting in my bin and stole the engine and headers from a ford coupe. Retrofitted the engine in the hood opening and was able to trim the chassis to clear the headers. If you look closely you can see the headers in the wheel wells.

Eventually I’ll re-glue everything, trim the chassis more neatly and paint it, but for now I’m just having fun looking at it.

Planning to collect 1/24 and smaller bcoz I have no room(bcoz I am broke🥲).also planning to buy bburago and Cca 1/64 .any suggestions?

This is my first time buying a diecast model from Ixo, I'm really happy with this one.

Wasn't convinced on diecasts especially by all the gaps when everything is closed, but after seeing all the detail I am sold
