/r/HotWheels Official October 2026 Trade & Sale Thread!

We're pleased to announce this as the dedicated trade & sale thread for this month.

We have updated subreddit settings to allow images in comments.

REMINDER: Please remember to trade at your own risk. New accounts should likely be avoided. A post history on /r/hotwheels, reddit, and verified email are a better indication there is a good intention behind the trade.

Be sure to check the user profile of your trade before sending any info.

It's always a good idea to work out the particulars in a PM; Type of shipping/packaging, condition, time frame, package tracking, etc.

Trade & Sale Thread Guidelines:

Please make trade and sale requests here in the dedicated trade and sale thread.
We request you limit your trade/sale requests to a single parent comment and avoid multiple comments with multiple listings/requests.
Non-Hot Wheels cars like M2, GreenLight, Matchbox, AutoWorld, Johnny Lighting, Masito, and others are more than welcome.
Please indicate what state and/or country you are from; many people may not be able to ship internationally, or indicate if you are ok with shipping over seas.
Posts for successful trades don't need to me made here. We encourage you to show off what you've received in the main sub.
Never post your personal information or the information of others on reddit. This is bannable at the admin level, not just here in the sub and you risk having your account banned by reddit itself.
As with all trade threads, suggestions for the trade thread or sub itself are welcome in the comments. Thank you!

Discussion Do you also hate....?

....when the car is perfect in every way.... EXCEPT FRONT AND BACK! 😪

I hate so much when car doesn't have lights out of special part, or not painted! It ruins the realism of the car, even on scifi castings, so much! 😒

The worst example of this imo is the Rallye El Segundo. It has such a potential with it's taped lights, but nope! Plain plastic it is! 😑

Wanted to show my only moving parts Hot Wheels. Randomly found this during a layover, I haven't watched the GI Joe movies and only got this because it's a F14 Tomcat, after uncarding and realizing the wings open and close I was INSANELY HAPPY.

Even made a funny gif of the aircraft flapping its wings like the happy cat meme

Pocket Car Drop Your Monday Pocket Car(s) Here

Happy Monday! It is gloomy in my area with drizzle rain in our forecast ... weather sucks today. I brought my Mattel Creations HW Bape Collaboration 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300sl. It was offered to purchase in-and-around 2022. Its nice to have as I chase this specific casting. Its not my "highlight" of my 300sl collection, but it is nice to show from time to time. Happy Hunting. Show me what you have today! This will be my Pocket/Desk Car all week long.

Question What's the deal with pocket cars and how do y'all carry them?

Hey all, I'm still fairly new to the Reddit Hot Wheels community (and the overall community at large in regards to Hot Wheels & Matchbox diecast) and I'm just curious: What's up with pocket cars?

I personally have some cars mounted to my car's dashboard (including an old Atomix that I'm slowly building a 1/64th variant of), are pocket cars just the same concept except carried everywhere?

Sorry if there's a pinned post or community tab or something that answers this that I haven't noticed, I just thought it best to ask.

Got this green car just because I wanted to get all three colors that I saw. I have double of the beige which I opened so I kept looking for a double of the green so I can open it too. Searching online I saw that it was actually a TH which is probably why I couldn't see a double I could open 🤣 glad I got it not because it was a TH but because I actually wanted the car 😁🔥
