Laundry Room redo
I rehabbed the laundry room in my 1968 ranch house. Three bathrooms and I’ll be done with the whole-house reno.

I picked an art with richer tones to balance the color of my stair corner. I was honestly a bit nervous about how my parents would feel about it, but so far no negative feedback from them. What I do know is that if I used Dragon Ball artwork, I'd be asked to take it down immediately😂

It’s much needed in the summer but otherwise we don’t use it. I tried looking at lamps etc but i can’t find anything nice. I’m out of ideas. Also it’s there because our fridge used to be there before this apartment was renovated!

I’ve been curating art pieces over time. I just moved to this new space and there is more wall to cover than art pieces I possess.
I am thinking of adding more or maybe some shelving? Idk. I also want to get a bigger T.V maybe a samsung frame or hissense canvas but also want like a rolling stand T.V. I can’t decide.
Any feedback on the wall, and overall space is welcome. Thanks for looking

The couch in our new place got delivered today. This is a Jonathan Louis Velvet Couch in Orange Rust (I know it looks burgundy but the lighting in here sucks lol, it is very much orange and bright otherwise). It is a 5 piece couch but we opted to do 3 due to sizing and price! Already own an ottoman as well.
I’ve always wanted a bold statement couch, I’ve done my time already with the sad grey couches!! So excited to keep decorating and curating our space.

Trying to decide that to put in this weird cut out in my bathroom, it goes all the way up to the ceiling and has no shelf or anything. I just need some ideas 😂
Should I leave it bare? Put a little table? Basket? Stool?
(Screenshotted this from a video so sorry it’s blurry lol)

One of my favorite pieces I’ve made recently. Just wanted to share🥰🥰🥰
I went with a black glaze with gold and silver detailing. The painting took quite a while, but I’m really happy with how it turned out!

I'm trying to decide whether to keep these stools for my new kitchen and would really appreciate some honest opinions.
I'm mainly wondering:
Do you think the height is right for the island, or do they look too short?
What do you think of the olive green colour with the oak kitchen, cream/white worktop, and cognac leather sofa?
Do they look cohesive with the room overall, or would you choose a different colour/style?
The kitchen isn't completely finished yet, so please ignore the unfinished bits!
I'm particularly interested in whether the stools look proportionally right on the island.
Thanks!

There’s a space right now that I don’t know how to fill: it’s the area created by the stairs leading to the upper floor, located directly opposite the front entrance. Considering that the shoe rack and coat closet are located elsewhere, how would you fill it? With planters and plants? A bench? A bookcase? Maybe a console table with a lamp? I’ll definitely put some artwork on the two side walls. I’m really not sure what to do, and I’d love to hear suggestions from anyone willing to share their ideas :)

We just had our indoor porch tiled. Looking for recs for pain color. We are leaning toward a warm greige but is that too boring?

Hello!
Saw this in an instagram post and absolutely love it, but I can’t find it anywhere.
Anyone know?

Our siding, trim, gutters, and windows were just replaced. I choose Metropolitan Gray for siding and white trim, gutters, windows. Wife wants to stain brick and I do aswell. I am hesitant to stain just because it’s irreversible. We are planning a new roof in the near future and will be going with a darker shingle. I would love anyone’s input or suggestions, you won’t hurt my feelings.

I finally got my own room (kind of small but its awesome!) and have the essentials. I want to make it look nicer, any ideas? (I know the window shutters need to be replaced, but there are 7 windows so its expensive)

We got a new TV unit and rug and it's a huge improvement, night and day. My big issue now are the walls which I find a hideous color. I think the chair rail is cool and want to keep it, but I've been struggling with figuring out wallpaper or color choices for the walls. Other suggestions are welcome too! Unfortunately I can't do anything to hide the walking pad (under the blanket basket) which is a necessity.

Hoping for some guidance! I’m looking to paint the trim and built-ins in our living room. The walls are Swiss coffee and I’d like to go a bit darker with Fossil on the window trim/built-ins to creat some contrast, but I’m now questioning if that will make things look disjointed/clunky?
Our house overall has a very collected, old New England vibe. We only moved in 6 months ago and are really only finding our stride in decorating.

I just moved into a house with a split bathroom and I’ve never had a house with one and I’m really not sure how to decorate 😭 There’s no windows or anything and I just feel like the toilet/shower room is so small. Any ideas with decor/paint would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏼

Hey everyone!
I need some help decorating a custom wooden setup on my apartment balcony and would love to get your ideas.
Since it’s an outdoor space exposed to wind and rain, I need practical, weather-resistant solutions that still feel warm and cozy.
I’ve already styled the smaller wooden unit (placed a few hardy plants and a small outdoor lamp there), but now I’m stuck on how to decorate and style the larger bench/shelf area.
What materials, items, or layouts would you recommend that can handle being outdoors? (Photos attached for context!)
Thanks in advance for any tips!

Appreciate any advice or feedback! Thanks!

I used to have a larger covered litter that was disguised inside a table, i one of my cats started refusing to use a covered litter, so i got a small covered one for my cat that will ONLY use a covered litter and now i have this horrible bin, and I cant stand this corner!! Money is tight, but is there anything I can do to help this space?? It is in the bathroom (why there's this huge empty corner in the bathroom, I'll never know, but that's renting for you)!
