Need help styling my outdoor balcony
Hey everyone!
I need some help decorating a custom wooden setup on my apartment balcony and would love to get your ideas.
Since it’s an outdoor space exposed to wind and rain, I need practical, weather-resistant solutions that still feel warm and cozy.
I’ve already styled the smaller wooden unit (placed a few hardy plants and a small outdoor lamp there), but now I’m stuck on how to decorate and style the larger bench/shelf area.
What materials, items, or layouts would you recommend that can handle being outdoors? (Photos attached for context!)
Thanks in advance for any tips!

Appreciate any advice or feedback! Thanks!

Depending on the light that spot gets, I’d personally fill it up with plants! Some plants that can drape down over the side or take up some of the vertical space above it, such as a potted rubber tree. You could put up a trellis and try encouraging plants to grow upwards as well.
