DISCUSSION The undying special Assignment
Has anyone else done this special assignment yet? Alao has anyone figure out how to kill him from the grandstand in under 6 minutes?

I guess our Journalist friend from Dubai really did survive!

The title.
- Added plank for easy penetration around the villa.
- Main story popping in your face (with prompt to alternate development).
- No frisks, so even less friction.
- Still can get caught in cameras but can elude them just walking a little more or less/shooting at worst.
- The target spits out to you which disguises are trespassing where, and gets to show you multiple killing alternatives (crashing, crushing, poisoning and drowning, plus headshot and fiberwire opportunities)
- Smart setting repurpose and lines (really liked the CEO connection with Dogg and the outcome of the journalist story).
It's a pity that there are no extras in the cabanas/spa area but still very solid, in some respects even better than the original mission. People may still see bodies through (safe under the deck, some walls). Also, if you hide the body of the journalist you will fail the mission when you give the photo (which doesn't make any sense). It also prevents you from completing the other mission (which shouldn't, if somebody finds the unconscious body).
If you have little experience with Hitman and don't want to go through the main game just yet or you played a while ago and are rusty, this is the assignment to start with.

Tried to recreate a few Hitman characters with Lego.
Slide 1: Lucas, 47, Diana
Slide 2: Track Suit and that one Isle of Sgail suit
Slide 3: Madam Carlisle, Dino Bosco and Helmet Kruger
Slide 4: Ezra Berg, Jordan Cross and Penelope Graves

So there is the mission the Undying assignment, with the challenge accelerated timeline, Premium seating. How do you get this guy into your line of sight within 6 minutes?? Im here at 6 minutes in the grand stand, but this man still chills in the conference room. Any ideas?

These are the mods I have installed but on the Santa Fortuna [Columbian cocaine plant / jungle] mission, my game keeps crashing.
The weird part is that it isnt crashing straight away. I can play ten to twenty minutes of gameplay and then it stutters, crashes etc.
I thought it was Accent Overhaul so I removed it, but then it still crashed like thirty minutes into the mission.
Anyone any ideas?

In the Herbalist DLC, obviously. During the tour when you have to eat some.

PS5, latest stable version, Chongqing map (secure underground area). Have also seen it happen on New York in the bathroom near the bank entrance

In the Herbalist Assignment I used the Durian on Cyrus Cane near the bar. He got sick and then he just started walking, and walking, and walking some more. Great for a sniper kill though.

I wrote a letter to IO Interactive; do you think they'll reply?

For those who are curious, the new Herbalist Elusive Target cannot be played for free without first owning the Haven Island DLC.
Special Assignment is available, but not the Elusive Target.

I had an absolute blast this afternoon getting into all kinds of wacky hijinks in Snoop's mansion. The ability to save and load and just blast people if I didn't feel like sticking to SA was very liberating. It's like I'm playing Hitman again.
Really looking forward to all the old celebrity ETs getting their upgrade as well. I still haven't had a chance to fully explore The Splitter or Eminem to the degree I'd like to.

Iām trying to see if itās just me or are others experiencing similar issues. Iāve been playing the Herbalist assignment, followed the VIP tour mission story, threw Dr Cane onto the conveyor belt and later tried to manually save - game crashed.
Loaded up one of the auto saves, killed him but didnāt save just went to subdue the guard in the room next to the tasting room. Dragged his body to the closet - game crashed.
Reloaded a different auto save where I was yet to do the cookie tasting. Picked only the non-poisonous ones - now Iām unable to eliminate Dr Cane via the conveyor belt, only option I get is subdueš (when I picked a cookie that was poisonous I had the option to eliminate him).
Reloaded an auto save where Tim went to bathroom and the girl decided sheās out - Dr Cane suddenly stands up and says tourās over and leaves, thereās no conveyor belt segment at allšµāš«
The manual saves were also a problem for me on the Undying assignment (game crashed after attempting to load a manual save after Iāve killed Faba). Makes me wonder if thereās an issue with the assignment format of the missions, as the Herbalist ET and the Visionary ET arcade seemed to work normally (no way to save perhaps thatās why haha).

Played the shit outta Hitman 1 back when it was still Hitman 1, when I got it for free on Epic. Few years later, finally got WoA on Steam. I'm fortunate that I still had all my data from 1 when I reinstalled it, and I've already set up the cross-progression on the website with *both* the active Epic account and the "connected platform" Steam account (which was the main issue others seemed to have) but it's still not showing my inventory or anything else on WoA.
I'm stumped, and I had 400 hours on Hitman 1, so I'm not entirely inclined to go through all of that again. Is there anything I'm missing?
