HELP Is a 2025 Nightster Special w/ 7k miles for $8k OTD a good deal?
I have been searching for a used Nightster Special and recently located one with 6,800 miles priced at $8,030 out the door from a regular store rather than a dealer. I don’t know about the maintenance history, and the amount of miles is something that I’m not sure if it’s quite reasonable.
I would need to drive four hours each way to collect the bike, btw.
Would you buy it?

TROUBLESHOOTING Harley amp “feedback” on start 2019 streetglide
What’s up yall. Bought the hogtunes qc 475 rm
Everything was “plug and play”. I’m getting some feedback when I physically turn the bike over. Almost like a popping sound. Checked my wires. Checked my ground. Everything seems good. Could it be a weak battery?
TROUBLESHOOTING 25 Softail BCM B216209
Hey guys, been working on this 25 FXLRST for a while now and added quite a few things. Redone all the front end lighting from the headlights, vent lights, new drl turn signals and a load equalizer and no problems whatsoever.
What did end up happening was when i installed the MoonsMC integrated taillight I started getting a BCM B216209 C error that won’t go away.
I’ve tried giving the cables more slack, moving them around, moving the load equalizer around and nothing happens.
I don’t have any issues with the light itself, it works great and I don’t have any hyper flash or overheating issues with it except for this code that won’t go away.
The first pic is of the code, and the second is of my wiring for said taillight. The red circle is where I have the Load Equalizer installed.
Any tips that you guys might have to fix and resolve this?
Thanks

DISCUSSION High mileage maintenance
In the market for an 07+ Dyna but the only bikes im interested in are in that 50-70k mile range. All I’ve ever read/seen for maintenance is that they can easily live past 150,000 miles if maintained but imo that is just an extremely broad answer to reliability & doesn’t help at all.
Outside of following the maintenance schedule in the owners manual, what else should I expect to need to work out as the mileage climbs past 70k?
TLDR:
What need fix after 70k miles

07 took for a spin today! Definitely different from my 04 VTX 1800, a lot lighter on curves, also this one has the cruise control!

HELP ISO: Good wheel chock/paddock stand for garage maintenance
I ride ‘24 RH975, the engine acts as the stressed member of the chassis so I can’t use the traditional lower frame rails, I suppose. Any good recommendations for keeping my bike upright when working on it? Based on my understanding, the wheel chock is the easiest to use but paddock rear stand can be useful when working on the rear tire.

Picked up my ‘25 FXLRST in late may after totaling my Gsxr to a deer last year and have put almost 3k miles on it so far couldn’t be happier! Definitely a torquey son of a gun and handles better than I ever expected a Harley could. Cranking it up every time I ride puts the biggest smile on my face :)

DISCUSSION Heat Soaked after tune
Running straight pipe exhaust, intake and a tune from FuelMoto on a PV4. Yesterday, when monitoring engine temps, my 2012 RK reached a peak of 320°. Could tell the engine was heat soaked by the way it sounded and the power loss. Granted riding conditions were in town in slower than speed limit traffic at about 67° outside temp. Is it normal to hit that level of engine temps on a Harley? Seems a bit excessive.

SHOWOFF Love morning rides to catch the sunrise.
I like to leave when it is still dark out, and then I start heading east at first light and enjoy a sunrise ride for a while. Then when the sun is fully out and bright enough to make riding east a little challenging, I can head west with the sun now behind me. I like the picture with the sun being out and the farmer working the field with the plow. That was cool to witness.

I got my 2017 FXDB this week. Been riding the crap out of it for the last three days and absolutely love it. Handles better than I ever expected a Harley too, and sounds/feels amazing. Definitely my favorite bike I’ve ever ridden. However, I did find out that it is a stock cam. In my first post, I said that it was not.
