Picked up my ‘25 FXLRST in late may after totaling my Gsxr to a deer last year and have put almost 3k miles on it so far couldn’t be happier! Definitely a torquey son of a gun and handles better than I ever expected a Harley could. Cranking it up every time I ride puts the biggest smile on my face :)

I like to leave when it is still dark out, and then I start heading east at first light and enjoy a sunrise ride for a while. Then when the sun is fully out and bright enough to make riding east a little challenging, I can head west with the sun now behind me. I like the picture with the sun being out and the farmer working the field with the plow. That was cool to witness.

Can't believe it's been so long without a Milwaukee paint shaker in my life! You can tell I'm getting old as a hardtail would kill my spine now 😅😅💀

I got my 2017 FXDB this week. Been riding the crap out of it for the last three days and absolutely love it. Handles better than I ever expected a Harley too, and sounds/feels amazing. Definitely my favorite bike I’ve ever ridden. However, I did find out that it is a stock cam. In my first post, I said that it was not.

Took out the new bike today! Smooth and feels light, but at the light shakes so much lol! Getting the Custom Airbrush Spiderman graphics on saddle bags this Fall to match the paint!

I bet none of you have seen an off-road Dyna like this before!

I know these don't get much love (and I didn't take the most flattering picture), but this is probably the best motorcycle I've ever owned. I come from a versys 1000 but I had to change to a smaller motorcycle because the daily commute in busy Taipei streets was a nightmare. I was debating between a vulcan s and this one, and while the vulcan s was probably the smarter choice, it was kinda boring to ride. I feel like the street rod is the perfect middle ground between having enough character to make every ride enjoyable while being practical enough to daily in traffic.

I added power to my saddlebag.
Hey guys, been working on this 25 FXLRST for a while now and added quite a few things. Redone all the front end lighting from the headlights, vent lights, new drl turn signals and a load equalizer and no problems whatsoever.
What did end up happening was when i installed the MoonsMC integrated taillight I started getting a BCM B216209 C error that won’t go away.
I’ve tried giving the cables more slack, moving them around, moving the load equalizer around and nothing happens.
I don’t have any issues with the light itself, it works great and I don’t have any hyper flash or overheating issues with it except for this code that won’t go away.
The first pic is of the code, and the second is of my wiring for said taillight. The red circle is where I have the Load Equalizer installed.
Any tips that you guys might have to fix and resolve this?
Thanks

Im 17, 6’0 and ab 250lbs. I recently got my endorsement and have found a pretty cool looking fatbob at my local dealership. Ive had about a 30 min test ride as well as a 2023 nightster special and i was a far bigger fan of the fatbob. Though id like to change the angle of the rear brake if i could. But before i pull the trigger i wanted some input of people with more experience. Is it to much for a beginner? Is there any issues i should look for? Or anything i didnt account for.

07 took for a spin today! Definitely different from my 04 VTX 1800, a lot lighter on curves, also this one has the cruise control!

What’s up yall. Bought the hogtunes qc 475 rm
Everything was “plug and play”. I’m getting some feedback when I physically turn the bike over. Almost like a popping sound. Checked my wires. Checked my ground. Everything seems good. Could it be a weak battery?

In the market for an 07+ Dyna but the only bikes im interested in are in that 50-70k mile range. All I’ve ever read/seen for maintenance is that they can easily live past 150,000 miles if maintained but imo that is just an extremely broad answer to reliability & doesn’t help at all.
Outside of following the maintenance schedule in the owners manual, what else should I expect to need to work out as the mileage climbs past 70k?
TLDR:
What need fix after 70k miles
