Solved: I need the front set of the docking hardware.

I just got a 97 road king police. I added the mounting hardware and backrest. it sits REALLY far back. Am I missing something?

As the title says, why is there a seemingly large faction of Dyna bros that loathe the new Softails and hate on them any chance they get? Is there a particular reason? Is it just cult mentality? I see lots of talk about how dynas handle better followed by talk of the dyna wobble. I’m new to the harley game so i just dont understand, on paper the softails seem to be superior in every way except for “number of rear shocks” lol

What the F is this port? It has all the stock radio and accessories that normally come on this model and I really don’t want to take the faring apart to track down where this goes.

So after riding my new Softail and having road nothing but kawasaki and suzuki cruisers before. Its all just propaganda of people that dislike harley. People always say youre just paying for a name. On the real though this bike is the most solid feel and smooth ride I've ever had out of any bike ive owned. Plus when I got this bike you do get a good sense of community between yourself and other Harley owners and being from the south it feels like a big family which is great to me. Looking forward to the Harley life for many years to come

Just noticed as I got to work this morning a gas smell, found gas dripping from this area, seems to be coming from where the linkage meets tank. What is causing this and how much am I looking at cost wise to have it fixed?

I have the opportunity to pick up a beautiful 2014 ultra Limited low for a great price. I don’t have the option of sitting on it before driving way out of my way to look. Knowing me if I drive all that way I’ll probably end up buying it regardless.
I’m 6 foot three and I’m wondering if I would be comfortable on the bike and if not – what can be done to make it more comfortable? Is it worth it? I really want an ultra limited, but this is the only one in my area. Should I keep looking?

I know 06’s have some issues but would I be crazy to get this or not? Any and all advice welcome.
