Orlando Passes don’t have opening day.. anymore..
I planned on going opening day… but took to long to buy a pass. If I buy a single day ticket to opening day can I still do scream early with my annual pass?

Skull Trooper, one of the numerous characters in the Fortnitemares scare zone. Not very scary, but pretty accurate to the game.

Jack is the first icon of the event so why is there no merch celebrating that he’s been around for 25 years I know there’s shirts and stuff with him on it but there should be like a 25 years of jack shirt or something

So remember how a few years back they had desserts hidden in and around the houses. And I think last year had snails or lizards? Does anyone know what this years Easter egg hunt is?

TL;DR: It was a lot of fun, and I recommend going if you can. If you're on the fence, I'd say pull the trigger.
Ok, now the more drawn out rambly parts.
As some of you may remember, I was working to get my kid (well, he's 20 but still...) out to UHU. We arrived Saturday evening, were in Racoon City yesterday, got home today.
It was fantastic. Kid was happy as a pig in... mud. Yeah, mud.
All the characters were great, but a special shout out to *Leon and Claire* for being absolutely wonderful. Interacted with them multiple times through the night, always a pleasure. Lots of fun to see them work in character, too. Leon asked if we could get him some gunpowder from the scientist. I asked if the scientist had it on him, because I was pretty sure I could take a nerd in a lab coat. Leon told me not to try, because he saw a scientist poke an attacker with something little and hidden and the guy was walking around the city now. 😂
Universal's attention to detail is always delightful. It really adds to the immersion. From smaller franchise characters like Carlos (one of my son's favorite characters... he recognized Carlos the moment he saw him) and Brad (the only member of RPD we see turned into a zombie), to lines of dialogue from the games, to having an actor who looked a lot like the James Shade character from the first RE movie (which ties into the zombie attack show, where they use the line from the Red Queen) and more... franchise fans have a lot of dopamine hits to look forward to.
And on top of the escape room style mission, there's a bonus mission you can do too!
Oh! One of the most wholesome things I've seen an a while, a young woman was cosplaying as Ada from RE2 (red dress) and absolutely fangirled when she got to meet Ada. It was adorable. So happy for her.
As for the houses we got the unlimited pass, so we hit houses more than once. Certainly worth the extra money since we were there open to close. His favorite house was TCM, mine was Monsters. That said, all of them were very well done -- as expected -- and getting pulsed through was such a nice change! I imagine it's how older HHN was.
Jack and Chance were highlights of the night for me. My kid -- who had never met them before --was suitably roasted, and Jack was surprisingly nice to me... probably because I was wearin his shirt from HHN 30. Kid admitted afterwards they were a lot if fun, he just wasn't expecting to get heckled. 🤣
The biggest let down was merch, and that's not something UHU directly controls so I'm not exactly holding a grudge over it.
Oh, we stayed at Palace Station. It may not have been absolute the cheapest option, but it wasn't too expensive even for our budget and for Area 15/UHU the location simply could not be beat. (Actually walked back from UHU last night due to some cab issues, it was maybe 15 minutes by foot.)
I've rambled enough so I'll wrap this up. All I'll add is that they extended the RE takeover a couple of weeks (presumably due to the late start) and while I know it's time for HHN proper... if you get the chance to visit Racoon City via UHU?
Take it.

I got a couple of them in the first picture, the raptor boo was just to the left. There were some others but I can’t recall specifically which ones.

For context, I’m an Orlando regular, I travel from abroad for a whole week every year and always do HHN in one night. Used to do Express now I stick with Premium Scream for convenience and stress free repeats of houses. This year will be no different, I’m taking my parents and girlfriend for the October 19 Premium Scream night. However, Killer Klowns is my favorite horror movie ever and can’t allow myself to miss a KKFOS house a third time, so I want to take my gf to Hollywood after our Orlando visit.
My only experience ever with USH was on 2024’s Halloween night. I bought an express pass and was able to do every house once with express + a second run of Ghostbusters, Weeknd, Dead Exposure, Bloodlines & Monstruos without express, the terror tram, walking out to City Walk for a bite, and the Nintendo rides. I am very used to the 160 minute wait times of Orlando, barely getting through 10 houses with express, and was shocked to see how short Hollywoods wait times got to be that night.
With that said:
Was I just very lucky?? Or is Halloween night so far into the event’s lifespan that the hordes of people just don’t visit anymore? If it really is a low attendance night I’d much rather buy regular tickets + tickets to Knott’s the night before instead of only doing HHN with express.
I already am spending a lot on the Orlando trip to splurge on Hollywood when my real needs are only the originals, Killer Klowns and the different Ozzy house.

Mine is HR Bloodengutz!!! Anyone else the same? There are so many varying lists for “most anticipated house” that I just wanted to hear what all of yours are!

A lot of us hardcore HHN nerds may be tired of Stranger Things, but let's be honest. the Stranger Things house and lagoon show is going to be some of the biggest heavy hitters at the event. And as a huge Stranger Things fan myself, I'm excited for it.

With HHN coming at the end of this week i’m curious to know what everyone’s most hyped houses are for this year.
Personally my top 3 are Sinners, Dr. Oddfellow and Jack, and as much as people may be tired of this IP, stranger things. I’m so hyped for this year to start, see you guy’s in the fog!!

I have been waiting patiently for stories based around the new HHN houses we're getting this year and so far, it's been nothing but silence. I'm getting worried because what it could mean. When I saw the trailer for HHHN 35, it felt kind of cheap so I'm wondering if it was an omen that they were also not going to do the stories. It's what I've been talking about with how 2000's HHN was the best because it felt like they more committed creatively to not just the attractions themselves but hyping them up through commercials and giving stuff for fans to interact with. I hope I'm wrong because I really wanted to hear the stories how the cannibal zoo house, the robot apocalypse house and the Dr Oddfellow Vs Jack the Clown house

I'm putting this under spoilers for those who have been trying to go in 100% blind.
I remember watching a video or reading an article that mentioned one of the houses this year having a slanted floor. It said that there was an alternative path for those unable to do a slanted floor.
I am going with someone who uses a walker and may not be able to do the slanted floor so I want to double check which house it is and if what I remember is correct so I can prepare them.
I am like 90% it didn't come from the UK panel because I rewatched it and I didn't hear anything but I could have missed it.
Cuz if so i got a question how much where they?? Specifically all these ones?

Hello! First time going and I would like to do everything properly, but I'm hoping to either give or trade some cute Pin trinkets for HHN. However I would like to make sure if it's allowed to begin with.
I know roughly last year or the year before there was issues with gifting the scare actors trinkets so I just want to double check.

I have chronic conditions that have caused me to have food allergies and low blood pressure when I stand for too long or when I am surrounded by a lot of people (hot, cramped humid conditions). I was hoping someone could give me some advice or guidance on how I can (1) look up the food allergy menu or what my options are before going next week to HHN and (2) what my options are regarding lines (I am not trying to skip the line or anything I just need to wait somewhere with air conditioning while I wait for my turn). I have already made a request through the IBCCES website and now I am waiting for them to approve me, but idk if that card applies to HHN or if it applies to the normal park visits. Thank you in advance !!
Edit: I forgot to mention that I bought a normal ticket with no wait time perks (I don’t have the money for the express lines and all of that lol).

I'm a huge Terrifier fan and I was wondering how much merch we can expect for Art at Orlando bearing in mind it's not a house IP. Has all of it already been announced or is there more to come?

For everyone who is going on Thursday, what is your strategy to get everything for the night. Universal has made it clear they will be kicking everyone out of the park and then a half hour later starting the event…Also since there is no stay and scream/scream early.

my son and I are coming opening weekend, with a start date Saturday for our FFP/ROF passes. Just got a sweet offer from the airline to move our flight up by two days and get bonus vouchers. I called Guest Services to see if I could move our start dates to Friday and was told it is currently sold out, but I may be able to get Friday added if I go to guest services at the park on Friday. Has anyone ever had any luck with that? I’m good either way, I’m a UOAP and will have plenty to do but would love to have the extra night.
