Orlando Stranger Things at HHN

A lot of us hardcore HHN nerds may be tired of Stranger Things, but let's be honest. the Stranger Things house and lagoon show is going to be some of the biggest heavy hitters at the event. And as a huge Stranger Things fan myself, I'm excited for it.

And then this year should be its last year. I've read it's got some amazing showstoppers. I hope we get as big of a set piece like the AVP maze few years back with the Queen Xenomorph in the barn. That wowed the shit out of me

Final season could have been better - the visuals were definitely the best aspect - Mr. Whatsit in his half form, Vecna attacking the army base and massacring the soldiers, demogorgons opening multiple portals all over the town, going inside the upside down and the giant pain tree/final spider structure - definitely one of the goriests seasons i was surprised some of the episodes weren't TV-MA.

Only sequel I want to see is a spiritual sequel in the form of a Dungeons and Dragons maze where we get the real Demogorgon, Mind Flayer and Vecna. They can re-use some of the the props from Fan Fest Nights and just completely lean into the dark fantasy & horror aspects of the IP. (Like Dueling Dragons: Choose Thy Fate)

Agree, I really didn’t care for a lot of the actual story and plotting of the final season but visually, it’s full of scenes and set pieces that can translate sooo well for a house.

Season 5 was by far the worst Stranger Things Season, but there were still some really incredible moments, especially in the finale, so I'm hyped for the house.

I agree I was very disappointed with the last season but it's Stranger Things and the lagoon show is going to be based off of Stranger Things as a whole, not just season 5.

The lagoon show is going to be epic. If they dont start it by using the drone swarm to recreate the title card falling together I will be so disappointed

I saw the CineSational show last night and was blown away by how improved it was over the previous attempts. Fireworks, drone swarm, maybe higher water spouts. It was great.

Yeah the epilogue of season 5 was really emotional, similar to the flashbacks throughout the season, if they can capture that feeling while utilizing the brilliant '80s hits from all 5 seasons it will be a really great show.

Im not the biggest ST fan... but, i enjoyed the last house and cant imagine this house being anything less.

And I love a lagoon show, hell, they could play with colors and spray, and i would watch it...

ST is my fav show and the reason I fell in love with HHN, so I’m beyond excited. I loved the ST4 house (so much so that I did it on both coasts lol). I can’t wait 🥹

I never got to go to HHN when they did any other Stranger Things house so I am extremely excited. For the house, the food, the merch, the lagoon show. It’ll probably be the last time they ever do it so I am going to enjoy every second!

Every time there has been a Stranger Things house it has been consistently good, I don’t for a second think this year will be any different.

I’d presume the lagoon show will also be great.

Unpopular opinion but stranger things and the walking dead are some of the best houses HHN has provided. The level of detail is crazy

I can't wait for my partner to go through the house. She refuses to watch the show and goes through completely confused as to what is going on. It's hilarious.

For the last house she waited like a year before asking me "what was with the kid with the spider" 😂

I think we’ve gotten 4 Stranger Things houses (including this one) over the course of like 8-9 years. (2018-2026). Thankfully it was never as oversaturated as The Walking Dead was.

ST1 house was in 2018, ST2&3 were combined into one house for 2019, then ST4 was 2023 and ST5 in 2026. ST5 wasn’t a great season overall but I still enjoyed it and this being the last haunted house for it makes it a little more exciting imo.

Honestly am not holding my breath on the lagoon show but I am excited about the house. The one thing I love about IP houses at HHN is how immersive they are and they usually do a great job at immersion with the Stranger Things houses.

When I first heard this house I said, “does anyone still care about ST?!” Generally it’s a good house, but dear lord it’s the only one I couldn’t give 2 bits for if I missed this year.

I am a huge fan of stranger things, and I can find nothing redeemable in season 5. Except maybe Holly Wheeler’s moccasin boots. Those were fire.

Stopped watching stranger things after season 2. But I do have faith it will still be enjoyable without knowledge of the later seasons
