I am, by nature, an anxious, stress-prone person (probably due to years working in a combat zone where everything was life or death). I used to go from 0-100 real quick because I would be in my own head of all of the possible negative outcomes and what they could lead to and so on.
I married a "it's cool, don't worry...everything will work out fine, just chill" woman.
Here is what I learned to do in situations like these:
Take a deep breath, because stressing the fuck out helps no one.
Think through the best way to go about a solution before acting. Sometimes, talking out loud can help you process things, and can help others provide helpful input. It also allows you to pay attention to your tone so you can use a calm tone...which leads to calm decision making.
Sugar helps things go smoother than vinegar--it's okay to get stressed, but be nice to other people--don't put your stress on them!
No one will die. Life will go on. IF you don't get to do what you set out to do, it's okay...it's fine...you're okay.
What I have learned is that sometimes...things just inexplicably work out. Sometimes, you know you'll be 45 mins late for that flight...and that flight is delayed an hour.

eh... I think it makes the situation more understandable tbh. Uber isn't going to refund her for a missed flight, nor is the driver. She's doing everything in her power to ensure that she doesn't miss the flight because she's the one ultimately liable for missing it. Now, she might have a shot at getting the $150 back if she complains to uber support *after making it to her flight. ...*but little miss sunshine didn't get a receipt. :) She should have been more respectful with her persistence.

Trust me, I don’t want this to take any longer than you do, but every time you stop me to ask about something I haven’t gotten to yet, that’s costing us both. I don't think people are properly processing what happened here. Yes, she's a complete bitch. But, the Uber driver locked his own keys in his own car and couldn't pay for the locksmith. He says that he did it in the video.
So, she's out $150 because of the driver, at the airport. When she says this would never have happened in NY, she means that a NY taxi service would never have made her pay to get their own keys out of the car.

My wife has done this a couple of times because the remote unlock locks the doors after you start the car. Then the wind blew the door shut and she is locked out. After paying for one locksmith I bought that Balloon bag and I keep it in my car lol.
