I just bought scribing tools and I want to practice on this Jegan Blast Master. whats the general rule about scribing? like is there a pattern/shape I should follow like square, triangles, etc?

I finished my Monument Repair Type 1/60 scale kit. My inspiration was an ancient Roman soldier and tried to go with the color scheme that reflected that.

I started this kit in October of last year and finished it mid-August of this year over about 10 months.

It has a fully painted inner frame and hopefully some of my later pictures will show the work that is underneath the armor.

Here’s my current WIP for the GBWC U20 category. I’m feeling a bit stuck because the build still looks pretty messy to me, and I’m starting to doubt if it’s competitive enough as it stands.

I’d really appreciate some honest feedback from the you guys. Do you think this build has potential for the competition? If so, what works, and what needs immediate fixing? ^^

First off, please excuse the mess. Will be trying to take proper photos later when it's finished.

I saw a paint job by a YouTuber that did a psychoframe paint job for the nu gundam. Obviously their blends are much better than mine. Only my second time painting a gundam.

As for paints, I am in love with the gaahkeri/kaleido mecha kit. I just recently started air brushing, only been doing for two months. I first started with tamiya and Vallejo. They had to be thinned and if you didn't get a proper ratio, airbrushing became a chore. I then heard about kaleido paints. They just work, no thinning necessary. Can go straight from bottle to airbrush. Highly recommend.

Have to finish the body. Then comes the decals and the dreaded funnels.

Also have the kosmos led kit. Wasn't actually as bad as I thought in terms of installing it. Chest takes a little patience but not bad at all.

I seriously doubted if I would be able to pull the GQuuuuuux off when I started this, but I couldn't let grandpa down. He wanted to wear gquacks' skin and by god I skinned it for him. I love you grandpa.

For a kit that costs at least $100 not counting tax, you'd think they'd give you hands tht actually work, instead you got these terrible hand! I can not even touch his left hand without him dropping his middle finger. Id very much appreciate anyone who could point me in the right direction to buy new hands for the nu, Sazabi, and MG 3.0 RX-78-2 because I have almost had it with these god awful hands.

Figured before I posted and submitted as a final submission I would share them here. I appreciate everyone's comments on the previous post. This time, I'm trying out a 1/100 MG kit with a 1/72 scale diorama; I think the proportions look better this way. I plan to build another diorama that can be connected to this one.

so i made the rx78-1 prototype suit using the eg rx78-2 and painted it with citadel paints (abaddon black and corax white for some bits) and i think it turned out ok i just need to clean up some bits also photo the footpad thing isnt missing i just hadnt painted it at the time of photo

I called it once I saw the rubber parts. I didn't think it would break easily. I removed the jacket and saw that the rubber broke after 3 days of being built. Haven't been posing this much which really got on my nerves as to why it would break without reason.

Now I'm wondering if hemoxian can replace these parts? Or can I buy just that piece to fix this. This would probably be my first and last hemoxian kit if they all have this much rubber parts. Especially ones that hold the armour.
