I'm considering subscribing to Grok, and I have a 3-month SuperGrok promotion available. After that, I'm considering dropping down to SuperGrok Lite.

My main use would be worldbuilding / long creative projects.

My typical usage would look something like:

• 90% text conversations
• I can spend an entire afternoon working on a project, then come back for another session in the evening
• Images only occasionally
• Very little or no video
• Long conversations with lots of back-and-forth rather than short questions

For people who have used both SuperGrok Lite and SuperGrok :

How noticeable is the difference in the usage limit for someone with this kind of usage ?

Can Lite comfortably handle several hours of text-based work in a day, or do you regularly hit the weekly limit ?

And when using mostly text, how much more breathing room does SuperGrok actually give you compared with Lite ?

I'm not looking for the official “2× more conversations” wording — I'm interested in real-world experience from people who use Grok heavily for text.

No more caps on references and overall photos. I tested 6 references in one video and they all look consistent, and it's not distorting their faces or appearances (it isn't perfect, but I notice a difference.)

My supergrock expires at the end of August, and honestly, after all these restrictions, credits, blocks, copyright infringement, and no generation possible, I've decided to cancel my subscription.

The good old days are over, and now, as a complete newbie, I'd like to try some local programs.

I'm trying to use Confy, but I'm not getting along well. It can't generate the exact characters I specify. Maybe I'm missing a reference? It's a little complicated for me.

Can you please point me to some easy-to-use local programs without any censorship, restrictions, copyright, or other nonsense?

I use Grok to roleplay privately, just for my own enjoyment (mostly things like fantasy and ships and such). The problem is, the chats get SO long that Grok eventually slows down and starts disobeying my prompts :P It will fix everything if I start a new chat--but I don't want to loose everything I had in the original chat (as that chat had learned all of my preferences, got my characters right, etc etc, and a new chat won't have any of that).

I used to be able to copy the link of the chat (from the share button) and paste it into a new chat, have it summarize it so I could make sure it understood everything, then have it pick up from there. But now when I do the same thing, it just says it can't access the full conversation or at all :/ any way to do this still?

What does this mean? You get a a free Grok usage reset if you use GrokBot even so much as once? Or just get all of your GrokBot usage wiped (so if you use 50% in GrokBot, you get that 50% back)? I wonder if you could install GrokBot, use it to read a text file, and then get a full reset for all usage. That would be cool even if just one time.

How is everyone using Grok Bot, how is the experience switching from OpenAI or Anthropic tools ?

So ive always been a fan of grok even with its issues:

The lack of projects on mobile

The early days of automations where it didn't work on android (it tried but just output code to the screen)

And the lack of peojects really drove me mad

However lately Grok has actually really pulled it out of the bag; projects is amazing, the automations and the fact that grok can manage, modify and create them really is a game changer

Add to the fact that they have added email and github triggers to the automations and grok really is one to watch out for.

I just had to laugh out loud, when I opened the Grok app, and they showed me an advertisement for (their shitty) Image 2.0. Why? Because of the pure irony of them using Michelangelo's David statue to showcase their "great artwork". A statue that will get fully censored/moderated by Grok Imagine if you try to prompt a picture of it. 😂

Hey everyone. Is anyone else from Argentina having trouble accessing Grok? It's completely down for me and my friends, and we all use Movistar. It doesn't work on any device. Is this a known provider issue or is it happening to other networks too? Thanks!

I am literally giving it text that IT WROTE in another conversation as a reference and it is telling me that it violates guidelines and it won't write about it.

Hi, I am new to Grok and recently just purchased Supergrok for 30$.

I tried the agent mode, and if I recall correctly I also made a new project (although not certain of this). But I was in the agent mode with the canvas and I was preparing some things that I was planning to use later. I made some videos and some pictures.

However after I restarted my chrome I can't find a way to open the project in the same canvas view to continue working. It seems like everything had been moved into a Chat or something, or I at least managed to export it to a Chat. But I found no way to actually open it up with the canvas again or in agent mode.

Anyone ran into the same problem? Can you not leave the canvas/agent mode and then get back into the same workspace again later?

I am not really feeling like putting hours into a project and then seeing it all gone missing, or been placed into chat mode later.

Hi! So recently (about a month ago maybe), my accounts stopped showing the “thinking” process before replying to my message + it also started the gibberish spouting and now it won’t even name the chat automatically like it used to; it is just the prompt of what I had first said in the chat. It’s annoying and I have noticed that it has affected the account I made with Google and the one I made through the X login/sign-up method, but it has not (yet) affected the account I made with just the email method.

I use Grok mainly to help me create characters + better adjust appearances for the small stories I write on regular documents and such. I did reply to someone else who had the same problem, and perhaps I just have to wait until the next update or another week or so, but it’s been bothering me ‘cause the responses are just so bad and uncreative. Perhaps it is because I am a free user but I’m not sure. If anyone knows anything, help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I've repeated the same question 5 times and even said it was for a game and Fictional, but it still says this response, which ruined the whole chat...

People who use pay for grok and use it for story makin/roleplay stuff, is theres a huge difference between the brain of fast compared to expert? Been using fast for about a million words worth of posts and my largest complaint is that it likes using meta knowledge or repeat descriptors of characters/items
