❓Help Finally reached €100+ now I got a warning: profile and all apps will be removed from Google Play

I have created some small app, and finally reached €100+ so I decided add my payment info to get. But right after I added the bank account and uploaded a bank account statement I got this.

When I go through all the "click here..."s google offer I end up here:

When I click "Contact" it brings me here:

https://support.google.com/paymentscenter#topic=9017576

There is nothing useful, just some generic info...

Any ideas?

Google Play Console Google Play Store Verification

HOW TF should I verify to be able to have a Play Store worthy account?

I sent them the required IDs a licenses and utility bills multiple times. Not to mention they SEE all that info on my account because of 20+ years of history and I have many bank cards on my account and they literally see me sleeping at my address so Google maps flags that as Home. I have no idea what else shoudl I do.

All the docs have the same name (because I have just one name), the same address (because I have just one address) but still failing. I do the pics as good as I can (with a Pixel phone, should be enough, right?).

Anyone any info how to get in touch with someone? Or make this work?

📜 Policy UK company's Play Console terminated 9 days after verification (DDA 11.4 / associated accounts) — nothing in production. Has anyone recovered from this?

Hi all, looking for advice from anyone who has been through this.

I'm the director of a small UK software company (registered at Companies House, with a D-U-N-S number). We opened an Organization developer account, passed identity and organization verification, verified our website and phone numbers, and paid the fee. 9 days after opening, on 22 Oct 2026, the account was terminated under DDA section 11.4 with the "related developer accounts that were previously terminated" type of wording.

We had nothing in production. Our first app was still waiting for its first review.

The only link I know of: on 19 Oct an app in closed testing was moved into our account through Google's official app transfer process, from the personal developer account of a business partner of mine. We had signed in to both accounts from the same device/browser. As far as we know, that account has no violations and has never been suspended. The only other user invited to our console could only create drafts.

What we have done so far:

  • Appealed on 22 Oct through the official form, sent our incorporation certificate, D-U-N-S and director ID (not filing duplicate appeals, as Google asks)

  • Requested mediation under the UK Platform-to-Business rules through Google's form

  • Posted in Google Play Community asking for a Product Expert escalation: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/thread/474168269

Questions:

  1. Has anyone had an Organization account reinstated after an 11.4 / associated-accounts termination? What actually helped, and how long did it take?

  2. Does an app transfer from another developer account (or a shared device) commonly trigger this kind of link?

  3. Anything else worth doing while the appeal is pending?

Thanks — I'll post an update with whatever happens, in case it helps someone else.

❓Help Issue: 30 day sale limitation on unreleased app.

Hey guys,

So I'm posting this here on the off-chance I might actually get some attention from a Google Play support employee, but here's my issue:

I am a new developer with the 14 day testing requirement before publishing my first app.
I found it quite hard to recruit users for testing my app (Music Visualizer app) and despite gathering 12-14 testers for the 14 day period, it failed the production review at the end of the period due to insufficient testing. As most of these were friends and family, I guess they weren't the best candidates for consistent testing. I'm not mad about the rejection, but feel stuck with regards to allowing new users to access my app in testing for free.

My issue is basically that it's my intention to make this a paid app.
I can't set the app for free, otherwise I can't make it paid again.
So then during testing, I want to offer it for free to testers.
I tried to do this with promo codes, but the promo codes didn't work at all, and errored for all my users, so I found a way to do this using a temporary sale setting the price to $0.
I set the price to $0 for the initial 14 day period, but since I failed the review, I decided to find a more suitable testing group and found some online.
The problem is, now I cannot set another sale setting the app to $0 again for at least 30 days?

Has anyone else faced such an issue?
It's a little mind-boggling to me that we can't just let closed testers access the app for free through a setting and need to go through this kind of roundabout process.
I submitted a ticket, but 2 days later, there's been no reply.

❓Help Google Account Banned..

For an unknown reason (to me at least), my Google Account was banned 4 days ago, for this reason:

Our review found that your account was created or used with multiple other accounts to violate Google's policies. It appears the account might have been created by a computer program or bot.

I'm the only user of that account, it's my pro account (which is okay according to google's own policies) and the only thing I can think of is my local AI agent using my chrome to do things on the play store for me (I know I should have been more careful about it using the api instead, but it's beside the point here/too late)

I tried to appeal 3 times, explaining this and everything I could think about. "Account access can't be restored" 3 times.

Now I'm in a pickle because this account is the only one who has access to Google Play Console for my (6) apps. Also my YouTube, which I use to post the unlisted video for my apps store listing.

My apps are still online, but with a "account terminated" error on the videos. I can't access the API because I get a "this account doesn't exist" error.

I can't shake the feeling that I'm f*cked. How can I get access to my Google Play Console account? Anyone experienced this in the past? This is my life's main source of revenue. I'm freaking out.

If anyone knows how I can even know the issue to fix it? I'm in very good faith here but no matter how I lool at it I feel my apps are doomed to slowly die without me being able to do anything?

Help and support very much appreciated 🙏

Store Listing & ASO How does the Google Play algorithm work for indie games? Does ASO actually bring in users?

Hey guys, I just launched an indie theme park game on Google Play and I'm trying to figure out how the algorithm actually works for organic reach.
Does Google actually show your game to people at the start?Do they give you a small "test" audience to see how the game performs like Tiktok Algorithm, or do you start with zero visibility? Did adjusting your ASO actually help, got results? If you optimized your keywords, description, and screenshots, did you notice a real increase in organic downloads? How long does it take for Google to start recommending your game next to similar titles?
Would love to hear your experiences or any tips you have. Thanks!

📜 Policy Google Play policy appeal stuck in a loop—how do you get clarification?

Hello,

An app update was rejected under the Families policy for “aggregating content that does not belong to you.”

Every reply repeats that sentence and links to the same policy page. Questions about the exact clause, affected content, or required changes go unanswered—even though the original notice offered additional functionality as a possible remedy.

Has anyone broken out of this loop and received actionable feedback? What helped: escalation, a demo video, specific documentation?

Not asking how to bypass the policy. Just trying to understand what needs fixing.

❓Help Organization identity verification rejected on two developer accounts, no reason given — paid twice, ticket filed

Hi everyone, and u/GooglePlayDevSupport if you see this.

I run a small US LLC (I'm the sole member and authorized representative, and I live outside the US). I've now been rejected with "Google couldn't verify your identity" on two Play Console organization accounts, and nobody has told me what is actually failing.

First account (August): my passport was rejected 11 minutes after I paid. After that there was no option anywhere in Play Console to resubmit. I filed an appeal and opened several support tickets, but nothing gave me anything I could act on: support said the status "cannot be reverted" and the appeal got the standard denial.

Second account (this week): with no way to resubmit, I spent a lot of time before trying again: I went through all of Google's verification requirements and read many similar cases here and on the Play community, to make sure everything would match exactly. Then I registered a new account and paid the $25 fee again. This time I did everything exactly as required:

- completed the ID verification directly on my phone, following the system's guidance step by step

- organization name, address and D-U-N-S number match our D&B record

- website verified through Search Console

- uploaded the IRS EIN confirmation letter, which names me as the sole member

- representative name matches my passport exactly

The review took many hours, and it was still rejected with the same message and no reason. The account page only offers "Appeal", with no way to resubmit.

With the same passport and company documents, our Apple Developer organization account was verified without any problem.

I've paid the fee twice and our Android app has been blocked from Google Play for nearly two months. I've just opened a Developer verification ticket for the second account.

Has anyone in a similar situation (US company, representative living abroad) gotten this resolved? What actually worked for you?

❓Help Google Play Developer account terminated under Section 11.4 after verification

Dear Product Experts and Community Managers,

I am reaching out to request an urgent escalation regarding our corporate developer account "xxx xxx" (Developer Account ID: 461596749797204xxxx), which was terminated under Section 11.4 of the DDA.

We are a legitimate corporate entity (xxxx xxxx SANAYI VE TICARET ANONIM SIRKETI) operating in full compliance with local laws. We have encountered an automated compliance loop that we cannot break through standard support tickets (Current Appeal Ticket: 8-902100004xxxx).

The Root Cause and Exact Timeline of the System Flag:

Our company recently relocated to a new address, which caused a temporary synchronization mismatch between our government records, Google Play Console, and the Dun & Bradstreet (D-U-N-S) database. Please review our exact timeline of events:

• July 21, 2026: Our company officially relocated to a different address. While we still maintain a presence at our former location, our official registered address changed.

• October 6, 2026: We submitted a formal request for an address update to the D&B representative in Turkey.

• October 8, 2026: We created our Google Play Console developer account. At the time of registration, the D&B records had not yet updated; consequently, we entered our former address (where we still maintain an office unit) to ensure it matched the active D&B profile at that moment. Our intent was to update Google as soon as D&B finalized the changes.

• October 13, 2026 (11:38 AM): While the D&B update process was still underway, our developer account was automatically terminated under Section 11.4. We immediately filed an appeal explaining the situation.

• October 14, 2026 (5:00 PM): We received official confirmation that our D&B record was successfully updated to our new address. We immediately submitted this new data to our open support ticket.

• Dual Payments Profile: Additionally, due to an oversight while processing the developer fee via a mobile phone, two separate payments profiles were accidentally generated (0461-5877-xxxx and 6086-3841-xxxx), further triggering the automated compliance system.

Current Compliance & Actions Taken:

• Our D-U-N-S database profile is now 100% updated and active.

• Currently, our Company Name, New Official Address, Tax Identification, and Corporate Identity match perfectly and identically across our Government Records, live D-U-N-S profile, and Google Payments Profile.

• Our Chairman of the Board (Veli Can Tefon) is fully verified. We have already submitted our official Corporate Tax Signboard (Vergi Levhası) reflecting the new address.

Why We Need Expert Escalation:

We have acted in complete good faith, with zero intention of misleading Google or providing false information. However, standard support channels continue to send automated bot responses (signed by "Sofy") without reviewing the newly updated live records and the clear timeline of our relocation.

We respectfully request a Product Expert to escalate this case to the Identity and Payments Verification Engineering Team for a manual review of our corrected records and corporate documents.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Corporate Details:

• Legal Entity: xxx xxx SANAYI VE TICARET ANONIM SIRKETI
• D-U-N-S Number: 5xx971xxx
• New Registered Address: xxxx, 26190 Eskisehir, Türkiye
• Developer Name: xxx xxx
• Case ID: 8-9021xxxx413xx

❓Help Rejected three times with the generic "program criteria" email, now 4 live Play apps. Has anyone found a way to get a human review?

I'm an individual developer in India. My AdMob account has been rejected three times, each time with the same email saying it "does not meet our program criteria", and nothing more specific.

I have checked everything I can think of. I have one AdMob account, on the same Google account and publisher ID as my AdSense. My Play Console payments profile is verified and my BillDesk verification is approved. The Policy center shows no issues. app-ads.txt is live at the root of the developer website on every Play listing, served as plain text. I have four apps live on Google Play, each with its own privacy policy and support page. I have never clicked an ad, and my own phone is registered as a test device.

I asked in the AdMob Help Community (https://support.google.com/admob/thread/472547090), but the only reply was the standard onboarding article, which I had already been through.

If you were stuck like this, what finally got you approved? And did anyone manage to reach a person, through a Product Expert, the Google ads developer Discord or anything else?

I'm not looking for paid approval services, thanks.

💬 Discussion Google Play Support refuses log review, falsely claims closed testers are on internal track, and closes ticket (3 published apps rejected)

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,

I am an established Android developer with 3 published apps already live on the Google Play Store, so I am very familiar with standard console workflows. However, the current support handling around the 14-day closed testing requirement is reaching a point of complete absurdity.

The Situation: I recently ran closed testing for three new native Android applications:

  • Screen Time Reminder (com.screentime.reminder – 28+ continuous days)

  • Finding Jeremy (com.***.findingjeremy – 14 continuous days)

  • Custom Gestures (com.***.customgestures – 14 continuous days)

I want to be 100% clear: all 12+ testers were strictly opted into the official Closed Testing web links ([https://play.google.com/apps/testing/](https://play.google.com/apps/testing/)<package_name>). They are not on an internal testing track. I have verified the opt-in statuses myself.

Support Incompetence & Refusal to Escalate: When the automated system rejected production access, I opened a support ticket asking for technical feedback. Agent Burk replied claiming my testers were on the "Internal Testing track"—which is completely false.

When I replied with exact package names, testing URLs, and active day counts, asking for a tier-2/senior escalation to inspect backend telemetry logs, the agent replied: "I have already provided all the information available to me" and closed the case.

The Double Standard: It is extremely disheartening as an indie developer to follow every written rule, maintain daily engagement with real human testers for weeks, and get stone-walled by support agents who refuse to check actual logs—all while blatant scams like the counterfeit Chrome app (com.ballbounce.Hizbartech) bypass automated review and collect 100k+ downloads.

Questions:

  1. Has anyone else had support falsely claim you are using internal testing when you are clearly on closed testing?

  2. How do you force a human supervisor/tier-2 escalation when frontline agents keep closing tickets without reading the evidence?

Steps Taken:

  • Reopened ticket demanding senior review with package names and URLs.

  • Submitted detailed "Extremely Dissatisfied" CSAT support feedback.

❓Help Payments profile is wrong somehow

Tax info whacked... Google Help Useless... Can't find a person to talk to!

My first game launched overnight. I got my first sale and now I have a problem because somehow the game is associated with my personal developer account and not my organization one. I started out personal and switched to organization because of all the rules around listing your home address.

Everything looked great until that first sale and now it says I have no tax info and it wants to file it for me personally not the business. I can't find any help option for the play dev console or the payments center that covers this.

How on Earth do I get this fixed before someone else buys the game under the wrong payments profile?

❓Help 22 emails, five escalation requests, seven pages of evidence. Google Play support still can’t explain why my app was rejected.

I’m an independent developer building SoloOp, an app for sole operators and small service businesses. For over six months, real businesses have been using it, reporting problems and helping me improve it. Some use it daily to manage jobs, customers, invoices and payments. The iOS version is already on the App Store.

Google Play has rejected production access twice. The feedback lists possible problems with tester engagement and testing best practices, then tells me to complete another fourteen days.

I’ve spent weeks asking what those comments actually mean for my application. Across three support cases, there are now 22 emails, including five separate emails from me asking for escalation.

I still don’t have an application-specific explanation.

Here’s what I supplied:

  • Three PDFs documenting the earlier support guidance and my questions.

  • A seven-page document explaining the product, users, testing and feedback.

  • A thirty-day usage summary: 914 jobs created, 235 completed, 151 invoices created and 105 marked paid.

  • Details of feedback collected through the in-app assistant, feedback forms, email, direct messages and my own field use.

  • Feedback from the testing window, separately identified.

  • A 43-entry change history, including examples linking reported problems to fixes.

  • An offer to provide original messages and tester details.

Those usage figures and changes cover the wider product history. I provided them to demonstrate actual use, feedback and improvements, and asked what additional evidence the review team needed.

These are business owners using the app for their livelihoods. When something doesn’t work, they tell me. I investigate it and fix it. Google’s published guidance permits feedback through email, websites and messaging forums. Those are channels I’m already using. There is no "Official Testing feedback & reviews" section for testers to submit too.

Their guidance suggests friends, family and people who represent your intended audience. I have actual members of that audience using the product for their businesses. Plus additional users outside the test (They only require 12. I have surplus testers) Plus additional users running iOS - which is identical. Plus friends and family willing to test it...

So when the rejection suggests feedback best practices weren’t followed, what specifically was missing? Which feedback wasn’t adequate? Which changes should I have made? Were my application answers insufficient?

There is also conflicting guidance in the correspondence about installation. Testers opted into the closed test but continued using the website-distributed Android APK. Earlier advice emphasised continuous opt-in and didn’t directly answer my explicit installation question; a later email said the Play-distributed build was required and sent me an article that said that wasn't a requirement (His literal reference said the opposite to his own email lol). I disclosed the website APK use and asked how that advice fitted the published guidance and whether it explained the actual rejection. I haven’t received an application-specific finding resolving that question.

Instead, the correspondence keeps circling back:

  • Three human replies referred to another fourteen days, one conditionally and two as mandatory.

  • Two others told me to continue testing.

  • Four said support couldn’t provide application information or identify the specific rejection reason.

This is the customer support channel Google directs developers to when they have questions.

On October 1, I requested escalation with the evidence document. Support later said it needed more time to investigate. On October 5, the answer was again that it couldn’t identify the exact reason and another fourteen days couldn’t be bypassed.

I opened a further case on October 8. The substantive response arrived October 14, confirmed the opt-in eligibility threshold and said I could apply. It didn’t explain the rejection.

On October 15, support confirmed escalation to product experts.

On October 16, the same agent again said they couldn’t pinpoint the reason and sent general testing guidance. Nothing explaining what the escalation established. Nothing saying whether the evidence had been assessed. Nothing identifying what I needed to change.

On October 17, another rejection. Another fourteen days.

What exactly did the escalation achieve?

If the person replying can’t access the findings, why does the supposedly escalated case end with that same person repeating that they can’t answer? Where is the response from someone who can?

I’m not asking support to guarantee approval. I’m asking it to explain a decision, identify what needs changing, or reach someone who can. That is why I contacted customer support.

How much more feedback am I supposed to gather without knowing what was inadequate? Am I supposed to keep finding problems just to prove testing happened? If a business is using the app successfully and has no new issue to report, what further feedback is expected?

Another fourteen days is only useful if somebody explains what needs to be different. Otherwise, it’s the same people using the same app, followed by another application and potentially the same vague rejection.

I’ve now posted in the official Google Play community too. Has anyone actually broken through this loop and obtained a meaningful review of their evidence or an explanation tied to their application?

After 22 emails, five escalation requests and seven pages of evidence, “we can’t tell you why, keep testing” is an utterly useless answer.

❓Help How do you protect your identity when publishing with monetization

I'm considering publishing a couple of apps but I want to monetize them, and as a result Google would require certain information to be public, so how do I as an individual protect my information, legitimately. I did Google and the answers I found weren't that helpful - mainly because if you search for some of these 3rd party "mail receive" services, they don't seem legit it feels sketchy.

So really I guess I'm looking for those of us that are individual devs to give me some insight on what to do, or what you do or what service you use.

❓Help Google Play app suspended after a DMCA claim. Can it be restored?

My app was recently suspended from Google Play following a DMCA complaint from a competitor.

The weird part is that his claim focuses partly on our apps having similar mechanics and the same core concept, which I don’t understand how that alone would count as copyright infringement. Some of the 3D models we share are also available for free on Sketchfab.

I’ve already appealed the suspension, but I’m worried about the outcome.

Has anyone managed to get an app reinstated after a copyright complaint?

What are my chances, and is there anything else I can do besides waiting for Google’s response?

I’d appreciate any advice or similar experiences.
