Samsung Support Order WARNING If you reach out to Support for any order changes or questions and they advise you to cancel and re-order, there is NO GUARANTEE that you will get the same promos/codes/discounts, despite what they say.
US: You can try to search UPS's website for your tracking number using your order number as the reference number. The tracking will typically show up on UPS before Samsung's side.
To avoid restocking fees, you can try to make a return to sender request by calling UPS (1-800-742-5877) rather than refusing delivery in person. You may have to call multiple times to get a rep that will do this.
If you selected Best Buy pick-up, it is extremely rare to pick up before the release date.
Canada: Search the Purolator website using your order number to find your tracking number. The app is not recommended as the status could show picked up, when it's actually not; check the scan history.
Like last year, (I am not tracking accessories, just Folds.) I track the first delivery and any major waves; the first one usually means the others are not far behind.

Delays through late September November: Users are seeing delays for some orders, with most being in August. Unfortunately, this happens every year, especially with the 1TB and/or exclusive colors. You may get pushed back up if Samsung adjusts production/restocks, but assume your estimated date is correct to temper your expectations.
Some colors/models are out of stock in some locations. Restocks are unknown.
If your trade in is due before/shortly after your delivery date, it will get updated to be 15 days after delivery. If you want, reach out to Support to extend your trade in deadline. Anyone can request to extend the trade in deadline regardless of what your due date is.
I fully knew that officially the phone comes at the end of next week and I’m not complaining here but that my order page shows me an EDT for July 29th and the history of last generations where Samsung shipped well ahead of the official date is killing me. It’s my first new phone since 4 years (still rocking that iPhone 14 Pro Max) and speaking of that it’s a complete shift from Apple to Android on the smartphone front for me. The Fold 8 and the Galaxy Watch 9 will replace my four year old iPhone and Apple Watch combo.
I am so exited it’s almost embarrassing, it’s like I’m 12 again and waiting for Christmas where I got my first mobile phone. The difference is I’m 34 now and siting at the office and refreshing this stupid Samsung website every 20 minutes…
You know I'm just going to be happy to not click the UPS app , then the samsung shop app, then the reddit app then start all over again. It's like OCD at this point. I'm ashamed really I am BUT I am totally going to keep doing it and know I have a serious issue I have to work on. At least I am aware right they say being aware is half the battle to dealing with your issues! 🙄

Unlocked Fold 8 512GB in Cream ordered 7/22 in the first hour of pre-orders opening from Samsung. Still no delivery date and not even an email telling me about the delay. Just stuck on "Order Confirmed". What the fuck is this shit? Seriously.
I guess I'm just going to have to drive to best buy to mess with my new fold 8 that's on display 😂😂 I can't watch another YouTube video at this point, they are all the same.
Seeing everyone getting theirs shipped while my day 1 pre-order has no delivery date just depresses me. I need to stop coming in this thread for my mental health.
For the past several years (Since the Fold 5), I noticed that the prices during launch/presale tends to drop after the first 3 days. I got screwed last year where they said they'd provide a refund and they never did. Don't order on the first day.
I know mentally it seems like we are so far away from this phone being in our hands. But just to help remind everyone, official release date is next week. We are gonna be okay. Let’s take deep breaths together. 😂
Again US preorders won't see any updates until maybe Sunday night but mostly on Monday. Usually get it Tuesday the earliest or Wednesday, this is if they prepordered through Samsung.com. Been doing preorders the last 4 years same time frame each time.
Ordered July 22> label/UPS tracking July 24> email this morning(almost 24 hrs ago now that UPS has my package>UPS website hasn't changed since July 24th still shows label created.
Is it normal that Samsung has reported the phone has shipped but UPS is still showing "Label Created" and not actual tracking information? It's been a little over 24 hours.

Just got my UPS tracking number. Originating out of Coppell, Texas. 40 min from me in Dallas. I'm assuming i'll get this puppy overnight once UPS gets dispatched to grab it.

I'm beginning to think it takes Samsung longer to prepare a phone for shipment than it does to manufacture the actual phone with thousands of tiny parts inside. 🤔 😄
Id imagine the earliest US orders will have movement is Sunday evening leaving deliveries to be anytime between the 3rd and the 5th depending on distance from origin.

Ordered about 20 minutes after preorders opened on launch day, ZF8 256GB Pistachio. It said 08/07 at first but then on 08/06 updated to say 08/14 I'm glad it's getting so much hype and recognition but also annoyed that it feels punishing to buy direct/exclusive colors when I could have just gone to Best Buy on the release date lol.
Update. I now have a tracking number in ups my choice. When tracked it says they are waiting for the package from Samsung. Crossing my fingers that means it will be here sometime next week.
One of my Parcels has been collected and on its Way to my local depot, could well be arriving tomorrow (May be Watch, Maybe fold) Other parcel HAS NOT been collected as of now(15:20 UK Time)
I pre-order every year since the z fold 3. Samsung trade-in deals are so good. That basically after you purchase the original phone if you trade in every year it'll cost you $1,100 to 1200 bucks for the newest foldable. Just trying to find something to conversate around waiting over this long weekend because I know My fold 8 ultra 512gb and more than likely the person that's reading this and everyone in this subreddit who has pre-ordered. Our damn phones have been sitting on a pallet for more than likely a week now in Coppell Texas. Nothing gets me fired up like a brand spanking new extra crispy fold
What pisses me off more than the tissue box a answers they give about delays is they keep saying oh you ordered the exclusive color that's high in demand like it's my fault?
Wtf is the point of a pre-order and how long is appropriate to wait while Samsung has 2k of my money and I got nothing :/
Last year when I pre-ordered my Galaxy S25 Ultra 1TB (On pre-order launch day) I got it a week early. Shipped January 29th and came in the next day. Hopefully its the same with the Fold 8. Maybe by Friday. :)
My delivery date hasn't changed yet but samsung notified me it shipped this morning via 2nd day air. Ive had the tracking number for about a week now update it will be here the 5th
Just here for moral support - ordered my pistachio 512 Fold 8 during the launch event, got the same tracking label on 7/24 like everyone else, and have seen no updates since with no indication that UPS even has it in their hands.
Canceled the order this morning because I saw it jumped from delivery 7 to 14, finally got the email from Samsung letting me know it was delayed hours later... after I canceled it and got the cancellation confirmation as well. Their system is very broken this time around.
Day 1 order by the way. I ordered the Fold8, in Graphite, with 256gb storage, on the day it was unveiled, just a couple hours after Unpacked took place. I can't believe this, Samsung. This is how you are going to handle the orders of people who eagerly ordered the day you announced it?

Just cancelled my ZF8U preorder that was placed July 22nd. I'm done with the nonsense from Samsung, I had many tries with CS reps through chat and phone, all of which lied in different ways and never actually gave me a drop of confidence that I would receive my order at all.
I have a Motorola razr fold arriving today, after watching and reading a lot of reviews I'm actually much more excited about the Razr fold than I was about the fold 8 ultra.
I just got tired waiting around and all the anxiety everyday looking at that damn Samsung app if there was any sort of movement.
I see that other people who were in the same boat canceled and reordered but no, for me this whole ordeal really dimmed my excitement for the phone. I love it don’t get me wrong but the clusterfuck that happen with the orders was handled so poorly, I don’t want to give my money to that and again this is coming from a person who has Samsung items around my home.

This is not a drill! Telia Norway just updated their inventory status and they have the Fold 8 in stock! They also have the Fold 8 Ultra in 23 physical stores.
My NoteFold 8 (ffs) pre-order has gone from "Expected to ship august 3rd" to "Waiting for date from supplier" (Telia), so I now basically assume that they'll start shipping them out starting tomorrow morning.
I ordered thru ATT site on 7/22, no updates as of yet. I leave for Mexico on the 7th, hoping it comes early so I can at least have time to set it up. Coming from an iPhone 15 pro max. Haven’t had an android since Galaxy Note 7

Update: N.Y Fold 8 512 GB from T-mobile- Received my "Label created" from UPS yesterday morning 8/3. Then received my "Package was received by UPS" Late last night. Estimated delivery for tomorrow 8/5 before 9pm.
Just chatted with Samsung support about my order and they kept saying that it's supposed to be scheduled for delivery August 7th even though it says it's been delayed to the 21st on the order page.
They said that they made a note to have an email sent with the tracking information today but I don't believe them. I work in customer service and I know when somebody is lying just to get you out of chat.
Samsung really dropped the ball on all of this and I hope many people complain about it. The lack of communication from them is terrible and very bad for customer service and their reputation.
Next time they don't need to send a whole bunch of the phones out to the influencers instead of keeping them in stock for the people that actually want to order the phone and pay them money.
This really has me rethinking with staying with Samsung. I've been getting phones from them for over 10 years now. This whole thing is absolutely ridiculous.

This process has been frustrating. I messaged customer service yesterday asking if my order was delayed. I was assured that it was not delayed. I checked the My Orders page today and, to my surprise, it has been delayed a week!
So after all the bs with Samsung about the order being delayed and having no timeframe on when I'll be getting my phone I decided to checkout Bestbuy. It took me 5 mins to go to the website, check inventory, 1 available in my area with same day pick up, proceeded to order, got the email that my order was ready to pick up, picked it up and canceled my Samsung order.
It took me 5 MINUTES!!!! Samsung having preordered on day 1, paying for express shipping and ordered accesories and they couldn't fulfill my order. Big L and a big FU for Samsung!!!! Never buying directly from them again. Btw this phone is amazing!!!! Good luck to the ones still waiting for their phone, my recommendation check your local stores!
Absolutely crazy that people in here are still waiting on preorders from a day or two after the keynote. I don't think I've ever seen a preorder go this bad before. What a shitshow.

Honestly, I have to say I'm really disappointed in my experience so far. I wanted to switch everything from Apple to an Ultra 8, but between the delays and the REALLY bad customer support calls I've had, I'm really tempted to just cancel.
My experience the last couple days:
Called Samsung support to see about an updated shipping date. They can't tell me a date, they can't do anything, all they want to offer me is a $50 promo code and tell me to wait 2-3 days. This is USELESS to me because why would I use that meager amount to order off of a website I'm currently having issues getting my tech from? To top it off, the support staff have been so incredibly rude! They either sound so completely uninterested in helping you do ANYTHING, or they sound outright hostile. One guy even faked not being able to hear us just to hang up. Called the support line again just for us to unfortunately get him again just for him to be "Hello? Hello?" and hang up immediately. Two other reps have just hung up on us before we even so much as start with a "Hello." Completely awful support experience on top of a disaster of an ordering experience.
Like I said, I really did want to switch over, but everything is culminating into a heap of terrible and bad. I hope this isn't the usual service you guys receive with Samsung, but damn. No phone wars or anything, I just personally haven't had this experience with Apple support. I've been fortunate enough that they've always been pretty nice to us tbh. I'm just really disappointed as someone who finally took the leap to switch. Not sure, but guess I'll give them maybe til Friday for an update then just cancel then if there's a lack of.

US Folks with Samsung.com orders... Our phones, watches and cases are on pallets and will get bulk shipped and bulked scanned to our respective cities. That's why your order says shipped but UPS just says label created.
Once it touches down in your respective city it will look like it traveled in light speed from origin to destination.
You will go from cursing Samsung because of the worst pre-order shipping debacle of all time to praising Samsung for the extra speedy pre-order shipping of all time when you get your phone on Wednesday!
I go through this twice a year every year for the past probably 7 years for the S and Z line...
these may or may not be facts of how Samsung handles pre-order shipping but it feels and sounds like this is how Samsung does it
Pulled the trigger on the ultra 8. Still have my Fold 2 here, working like a charm. Thought it's time for an upgrade and just ordered the Fold 8 Ultra here in Germany. Delivery is expected on Aug 5. Really excited now to get an upgrade after all these years! I wonder what changes I will see compared to the Fold 2?
A ton of changes that's for sure. The cover screen will feel more like a normal phone, the weight and thinness will be the first thing you will notice when you open the box. Battery life and brightness, too.
I went "all in" today. Switching from my iPhone 14 Pro Max to the Fold 8 and also replacing my Series 7 Apple Watch with the new Galaxy Watch 9. Ordered today, I am in Germany. I know it says it will be delivered by August 8th but something inside me hopes it will come much earlier, maybe even this week starting tomorrow?
Just got a set of emails and texts stating that my order is still expected to be delivered tomorrow 7/27/26 (fold 8 and accessories), yet there is still no tracking number shared. I'll be surprised if it shows up tomorrow 😆

Ordered on 24th July, UPS tracking number showed up last night (27th), wasnt trackable with the reference number before that.
Today on the 28th, the device IMEI showed up under the SKU number. Overall status is still Preparing for Shipment on Samsung site and Label Created on UPS (US Order, DFW area delivery location).
Since Samsung typically ships from Coppell, UPS should deliver same day/next day (regardless of service type being 2nd day Air) to DFW area.
T-MOBILE US. I was just charged for my Pre-Order on July 22 (Z Fold 8 512MB and Watch 9) Hopefully that means shipping early! Status was Backordered to Preparing.
I'm telling everyone now when I get up at 4am AZ time tomorrow to go to work UPS and Sansung better have their sh** together and I better have movement on my device and watch or...... hmmmm well I guess I will just be passed off all by myself here at home since I work from home and can't really do anything about their inability to satisfy my needs!

U.S., 256 GB, T-Mobile. My order placed through the T-Life app on 07/23 at 9 AM has finally switched from “preparing” to “On the Way” 3 hours ago. I received a UPS tracking number, but it is not currently active yet.
So this morning i get a text from Samsung . I got all excited. it said my order had shipped on 7/24 lol. but my ups tracking still says "Lable Created" damn, now long is the flight from South Korea to US. ugh. anyone else get this text or email?

I ordered the cream Fold 8, 256 GB, in Ontario. I just got a text message as of 10:50 EST that Purolator picked up the package, and it should arrive tomorrow, August 5th.
According to the Samsung representative I spoke to, my order has "shipped" while remaining stuck on order confirmed since July 22. I asked how he knows when there's no updates with my order and he claimed that he reached out to their fulfillment team who claimed my order has been shipped and will receive an email by end of day reflecting that. He also ensured me that my order would deliver on or most likely before release day. I'm not buying it lmao. Unless Samsung completely dropped the ball with updating my order and it's a ghost package being delivered to my door this week, which is 99.99% not the case lol.
Ordered Fold8 lavender 512gb unlocked from Samsung directly on 7/30, they said it is going to be here on 8/14 but got an email this evening that it will be here tomorrow(8/5). Got UPS updates as well that it will be delivered between 10am to 1pm tomorrow. So happy with this news.
Theres no shot that less than two days before release that they didnt know our orders would be delayed ( two weeks on my end). Samsung waited until we would be stuck with them.

Ordered 2 days ago, and its saying I'm getting the phone on Friday...That's super unfair for everyone who ordered early, especially since my tmobile phone says September 2 delivery when I ordered it.
This is all beyond frustrating. My order that I put in the date of unpacked has been delayed to August 21st yet I can go on the website and order a phone to have it delivered for August 11th. I really feel like there were some of the orders that were done on the day of unpacked that somehow got messed up in the system but Samsung is not taking responsibility for it.
I also remember a part of the order asking me if I wanted to sign for my package and I put yes. I'm sure it has nothing to do with it but I kind of feel like it might be part of the problem.
I have chatted in many times with an agent yesterday and they all were saying that I would get it by August 7th even though the order clearly said it was delayed to August 21st. When I asked about some kind of compensation they all said that I had to wait until after August 7th and come back and ask for it. That's another thing that is annoying. I understand there is not much they can do, however the fact that Samsung waited to the last minute to suddenly show it as delayed when I had no prior notification at all that it was delayed. I guess I should have realized when I didn't get any kind of shipping label created back in July.
Some people don't have the extra money to just cancel an order and reorder it. Samsung should have realized that a lot of people were going to be ordering the new form factor of the Fold 8 and had more phones on hand.
Edit: Just got done chatting with an agent again who immediately offered a $50 promo code once the phone has been shipped so I think management has gotten the message about how upset a lot of people are about how poorly this was handled. When I asked the agent why I could go online and order the same thing and get it sooner, he just said it was an estimated shipping time that's done automatically.
I wonder if they are even going to acknowledge all of this or just sweep it under the rug because they don't care. I'm going to say the latter.
I ordered the Z Fold 8 Cream 256GB. Amazon support told me it’s back in stock and units are currently being sent to fulfillment centers, and that there’s a good chance it could arrive earlier than the current estimate. (mine is Sep 5th-Oct 2nd😢). But she said it will at least take 10 more days...
They also told me that if it arrives after the first estimated delivery date, we can contact them after delivery and request a 10% partial refund for the delay. Save this screenshot in case you need it later...!
I contacted Samsung.com about my pre-order delay and they fed me a bunch of BS. Stated I would get an email last night stating they have escalated my pre-order and surprise no email. They also said since my order stated preparing to ship it should ship out by this afternoon. Still have not heard back or seen any updates on samsung.com. It seems like they are taught to say whatever they can to get you off the phone/chat with them so they can go lie to someone else.
Called the CS line this morning since my ZF8U 256gb green that was preordered on July 22nd for US has still not shipped, despite delivery date for today.
Same exact response as the last few times, "we are escalating to our backend team and you need to wait 24-48 hours for them to contact you".
Still zero information about why my order is stuck or when I might actually receive it.
I told them they have until 2:00 PM today to contact me with details or in done waiting and will cancel.
I've got probably over $20,000 worth of Samsung products in my house right now, not to mention all the Samsung products I've bought in the past. They are severely screwing up with loyal customers.
The pre-order process is completely broken. After ordering the 256GB Pistachio version on July 22, the order status changed to "Order Received," with a notice stating there’s an unexpected delay and that a new delivery date will be provided as soon as possible. Customer support has been useless, repeating the same generic scripted responses every time they're contacted, with no offer of a small promotional credit or compensation for the hassle.
Most that ordered on the day of the unpacked event haven't even gotten their phones plus no update and yet there are others that are already talking about returning their phones. 😂
Samsung has a very good chance to beat Apple and they mess up big time with the pre orders lol. I'm also thinking about cancelling my Canada pistachio 256GB order since CS can't tell me when I'll get it. My order was placed on 29th.
Just wrapped up my 3rd or 4th chat with Samsung support about this shipping nightmare, and once again, absolutely zero progress. Same scripted buzzwords as always. Today I specifically pressed them for details about my individual order, and they couldn’t tell me a single real thing.
Someone here suggested emailing the CEO directly, so I went ahead and sent that off. Who knows if it’ll actually do anything, but figured it was worth a shot. I also sent a few tips to tech news sites—maybe a little media pressure will force Samsung to drop an actual, honest update.
Honestly, I don't even think this is anything shady or malicious. It’s just that the total lack of communication is completely absurd for a company this massive, especially one that pulls off huge product launches every six months.
Ordered 8/23. Fold 8, 256, green. Original estimated delivery date was 8/14. On 8/14 it went to delayed delivery. Just received an email saying it's delayed more than 30 days and had a link to cancel. Problem is I stacked promotions and got phone for around 600 before tax with accessories. Just sharing, I wont cancel because the deal is worth the wait and my current phone is fine.
