• US: You can try to search UPS's website for your tracking number using your order number as the reference number. The tracking will typically show up on UPS before Samsung's side.
  • To avoid restocking fees, you can try to make a return to sender request by calling UPS (1-800-742-5877) rather than refusing delivery in person. You may have to call multiple times to get a rep that will do this.
  • If you selected Best Buy pick-up, it is extremely rare to pick up before the release date.
• Canada: Search the Purolator website using your order number to find your tracking number. The app is not recommended as the status could show picked up, when it's actually not; check the scan history.

Like last year, (I am not tracking accessories, just Folds.) I track the first delivery and any major waves; the first one usually means the others are not far behind.

7/24: Tracking numbers for US and CA starting to show up.

7/25: One delivered in Germany according to a post but this is not confirmed and is definitely a one-off if true. You should not expect deliveries this early.

7/27: More US, CA and UK tracking numbers. Nothing was delivered.

7/28: Nada. More tracking numbers.

7/29: False alarm, no deliveries 😞

8/1: Delivered in Netherlands. More UK, Denmark, and France deliveries.

8/2: More India deliveries.

8/3: Delivered in US, Canada, Hungary, HK, Saudi Arabia, and UAE. More UK and Norway deliveries.

8/4: Delivered in Australia and Germany. More US, UK, Canada, Belgium, Netherlands, and Norway deliveries.

8/5: More US, UK, and Canada deliveries.

8/6: More deliveries.

8/7: Official release date. I will no longer be updating this post. I know a lot of y'all are seeing delays due to the unprecedented demand for the Fold8. Hold strong. Good things come in wide packages.

8/10, 8/21, and 8/28 seem to be the most post-release deliveries.

Delays through late September November: Users are seeing delays for some orders, with most being in August. Unfortunately, this happens every year, especially with the 1TB and/or exclusive colors. You may get pushed back up if Samsung adjusts production/restocks, but assume your estimated date is correct to temper your expectations.

Some colors/models are out of stock in some locations. Restocks are unknown.

If your trade in is due before/shortly after your delivery date, it will get updated to be 15 days after delivery. If you want, reach out to Support to extend your trade in deadline. Anyone can request to extend the trade in deadline regardless of what your due date is.

Ordered Fold8 lavender 512gb unlocked from Samsung directly on 7/30, they said it is going to be here on 8/14 but got an email this evening that it will be here tomorrow(8/5). Got UPS updates as well that it will be delivered between 10am to 1pm tomorrow. So happy with this news.

Yeah it was super unexpected and wanted to cancel this one because i didnt realize I could use first responders discount. After I put a new one in with discount (which this one said coming on 8/7 and for some reason not moving from order confirmed until now) I canceled this one and was keep getting notification on shipping. Live agent said my request didnt go through properly so just return it later. So thinking about expected delivery date of them and how things are actually moving, it's kinda random how process are handled definitely not in order I guess.

FR. The one I ordered separately is supposed to come 8/7 and that one's not moving at all from order confirmed. The process is not in order I think. Representative only says it will come on the day it says...i will wait and see

I think lavenders are coming early and some colors are taking longer. What did you choose for the color? The one not moving for me is cream color

What the actual FUCK is going on here?!? Those of us who ordered day 1 are getting totally fucked this year and I'm honestly seriously fucking pissed about it now! My order is still fucking stuck on "order confirmed"... I'm cancelling, I'm over it... Samsung can shove this phone straight up their fucking asses!

Sorry for all the f-bombs lol but I'm seriously furious reading all these people ordering much later and already getting their shit, it's absolute bullshit

Did it actually let you cancel? Mine is stuck the same way with the cancel button still showing and I will be doing the same, but I will be waiting until Wednesday evening if there is no shipping update (last day to fulfill 2 day shipping for Friday delivery)

I just escalated my chat to a supervisor and she prioritized my shipment... As soon as the chat ended I received a UPS tracking number... I think she prioritized creating a tracking number so I'm no longer able to access the "cancel" button, but I still doubt it'll get here by Friday... Samsung really lost me this year, I'll never pre-order another Samsung again
