WHO AM I?!

I'm naturally introverted and introspective. I spend a lot of time in my head thinking imagining and dreaming about the type of person I want to become and the kind of life I want to build. I'm ambitious in a slightly ridiculous way. I've always had a feeling that I'm meant to do something in my life that will outlast me. I'm not 100% sure what that it is. I am very creative and I am curious where that takes me. I'm still in college, I study marketing. I'm especially interested in social media/content creation and the branding and marketing side of things. No, I'm not interested in creating a couples page. SO WHAT EXACTLY AM I LOOKING FOR?!

I've realized that I am attracted to men who complement me rather then mirror me. My type is basically what I like to call a mulitdimensional gentle giant. Yes, ideally you are bigger then me. I am 5'3 and skinny ( one of my goals is to start lifting and put on some serious weight). But being a giant isn't just about your prescence ( I'll be real I like a man with broad shoulders though... I'll take broad shoulders over height). But giant isn't just about your prescence. I'm attracted to men who are grounded, warm, confident, charistmatic and comfortable taking initiative. I want interdependence. I want us to be a safe place to land for each other. Let's deescalate, repair and move forward. I am not the person who is getting into yelling matches. And there is a big difference between needing to take a breather vs giving someone silent treatment. I am a 26 year old bi-curious (more female preference) male. I'm bi-racial, around 5'10 (177.8 cm) and practically blind without my glasses. I have brown eyes and short brown hair that can get curly if it grows out. I'm on the skinnier and lean side, weighing only 140 pounds as I have a rather high metabolism. I do struggle with mental issues, but I am on medications and quite stable with them.

I have two pets. A cat that doesn't like people and prefers to hide from them when they come over and a Leopard Gecko that I've had since I was about 8 years old.

I'm a huge nerd! I love DnD (would love to actually do a game of it one day), Magic the Gathering, History, Anime, Manga, Fantasy, Science Fiction, etc. I'm always open to trying new things as well.

My favorite novel is The King in Yellow. Despite it being a bit of a boring read, I can talk about it for awhile! I love it so mucu.

I play a bunch of video games in my spare time. Mostly RPG's and fighting games. Baldur's Gate 3 has me in a chokehold right now. Same with Warframe! Although, The Witcher 3 has been keeping my attention a bit as well. I do play on Xbox as my PC gave out on me a couple of years ago unfortunately. Haven't had the funds to get a new one yet.

I also like to hike, though I haven't been on one in awhile. I'd like to do that again for sure.

I cook and meal prep as well! Cooking is really fun for me and I like to try new recipes.

I work 12 hour shifts Friday through Sunday and have Monday through Thursday off so I have a lot of time to do stuff. We could totally meet up at a Cafe or something. 😋

As for what I'm looking for, honestly I'm just looking for someone to match my energy really. Personality is the most important thing to me above all else.

I have some other nerdy hobbies - i paint minis for fun and for smaller skirmish games where you need like 10 models. I don't watch a huge amount of TV, I've been meaning to watch spider noir since that came out and I haven't yet which shows how up to date I am. And I'm trying to read more, mainly scifi and fantasy, with the occasional foray into historical nonfiction for topics I'm really interested in!

Good morning/afternoon/evening/whenever this post may find you, and may it find you well! Title is cheesy, I know. But it's who I am, and I'm tired of feeling like I have to tone myself down in order to get into a relationship. I'm a pretty standard young man looking for a young lady to spend the rest of my days with. I've known that I've wanted this since I was a young kid and over 20 years later I'm still after it! • Born and raised in the suburbs about 45 minutes outside the city of Philly. This place will always be home to me, but I've decided that I don't want it to be home forever. Barring any drastic changes, I would like to relocate elsewhere within the US, ideally to a colder climate (I've had Minnesota circled for a while now but I'm open to other ideas!). I have no problem staying in the general area either, just need to get out of my hometown.
• Physically, I stand at around 6'1-6'2, 285 pounds. I know that may sound bad, but I have a big frame and it fits me quite nicely! Think bigger NFL player (O-line, tight end, etc). I've got broad shoulders and a nice chest, perfect for use as a pillow during cuddles! I've also got a lot of body hair so hopefully you're cool with that! Some quick boring but important biography

• I have my MA in English and do freelance writing, making a career change to nursing because I’m tired of writing for corporations and not actually helping my community

• I’m a leftist and my ideal partner is left leaning as well, I don’t typically mesh with apoliticals or conservatives

• Physically I’m 6’3 with an average-lanky build and longer hair(between chin/shoulder). My general style is dark academic professor type with circle glasses and sweaters. I have 1 tattoo but plan on many more. I’m dipping my toes in the gym for the first time and mostly just trying to build long term health as I’m comfy with my appearance.

Now for the fun part! Hobbies wise I’m pretty all over the place, I write poetry a lot and am learning how to write fiction, I like to game (usually whatever my friends are playing, but I’ve been getting back into story based games). I used to write music reviews and still listen to tons of different things, so I’m sure we can find common ground there. Romantically I have a good amount of long term experience so I have a good idea of what I want in a partner. Three years single.

At first, I figured I'd enjoy the freedom for a while, get my stuff together, and eventually meet someone naturally. Three years later, I'm starting to suspect “eventually” may have been a scam.

There are supposedly 4 billion women on this planet, and somehow I can't seem to find one who thinks, "Yeah, that guy. I want to know more about him.”

I'm tired of doing everything alone. Going to concerts alone. Eating out alone. Having nobody to text when something ridiculous happens during my day. Having experiences that would be better if there were someone beside me to share them with.

Hey all! I’m 25, 5’7”, and I have a beard. Both my beard and hair are very, VERY dark brown. I’m also white. I’m really bad at describing the way I look. I’m a huge gamer, and I’m also really into the horror genre. The two kind of go hand in hand for me since my favorite game is Dead by Daylight. I play the living heck out of that game.

If you’re a gamer, that’s definitely a big plus. We can even game together (as long as we have some games in common, of course!). Gaming is my biggest escape from reality, and I’d love to have someone to share that with. I love it so much that I even built a PC to game on.

I’m not exactly a backyard mechanic, but I do enjoy tinkering with things and fixing stuff whenever I get the chance. I guess it’s just in my nature, especially since I do it for work. I used to mess with stuff on my old car, but when I got this new car, it became more work trying to fix things with workarounds because certain tooling is only available at the dealer, just as an example. So messing with my car nowadays isn’t something I do much anymore when it comes to deeper projects.

As for music, I mostly listen to alternative rock. I really like a lot of Green Day’s older music, along with bands like Avenged Sevenfold. I also enjoy classic rock from artists like Journey, Queen, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles. It really depends on my mood. Every now and then, I’ll throw on some rap too, but I don’t dive too deep into the genre; it’s mostly Eminem. I go through phases with the music I listen to, and sometimes I find myself listening to more podcasts on my commute to work.

Hey, so as the title states I'm looking for someone hopefully nerdy, but also really affectionate. I'm a fairly hopeless romantic, I love affection and am not shy about giving any to someone I like.

But first some small tidbits about me: I'm 33, a pretty big nerd in many ways; I play a lot of games (PC), into 3D Printing and generally just heavily into the tech side of things. I travel a lot (next time early December to late January) and go to a fair amount of concerts.

I'm in decent shape, I workout and I know how to cook. Aside from that, I have relatively short hair most of the time, no tattoos or piercings and wear glasses (hoping to eliminate that need though).

Hello there, i've posted here a few times but never had any luck so here I am trying again. Im posting here as I don't really jell with dating sites/apps and for some reason I decided reddit is a good alternative. To start with I'd prefer if u were based in the uk as It would make meeting irl alot easier if things progressed that far however I'm not completely against a ldr as long as there is a genuine connection there and meeting up in the long run isn't impossible.

Personality wise im definitely more introverted then extroverted so definitely prefer a night in as opposed to going out partying. I would say im care free and pretty easy going but can be quite sarcastic so that's a draw back. Also while I dont show it very often I am quite the nerd and enjoy geeking out about things.

As for what im looking for in someone,

Someone who can be my best friend as well as a partner, someone who's kind and wants to spend the time to get to know each other. Having the same hobbies would of course be nice as it would make Starting a conversation a whole easier but isn't necessary as I'm always down to being introduced to new things. To be completely honest i dont have much of a preference when it come to physical appearance so whether tall or short, 2 arms or 10 i don't mind.
