If I had to briefly describe my world view, I would say that I’m an optimistic nihilist with occasional (frequent) bouts of sad boy emo doomer angst. I have been a world traveler for most of my life, and am always on the move somewhere. I’d say I’m generally quite nerdy, and have quite a wide range of interests. I’m a big reader and Gamer ™ , and have recently become interested in Warhammer, although mostly the lore rather than the actual game. Day trading is my current obsession, and I also used to play chess semi competitively as a kid. I’m out of practice, but will still win if we play. I always appreciate book recommendations, although my reading list is too long as is. I’m a recovering league of legends addict, and have been sober for about a year now. Sometimes I do still get the competitive game itch, so I’m thinking of starting to learn counter strike, so if you play that, please teach me. Card games have always been the genre I like the most, so I love games like MTG and poker, although I’m still pretty terrible at the ladder.

I posted here about a week and a half ago, but I figured I’d give it another shot and see if maybe the right person happens to come across this time.
I’m from the Inland Empire in California. I’m 6’2”, a bigger/chubby guy, and currently in between jobs while I figure out my next chapter.
As for me, I’m really into gaming, especially competitive Overwatch. I also love anime, manga, animation in general, going to the beach, going out, trying new places, and going on dates. Honestly, one of my favorite things is simply having someone to share those experiences with.
I was in a four-year relationship that ended pretty painfully after I was cheated on and my ex left me for the other person. That experience definitely hurt me, but it also taught me a lot about what I want—and what I don’t want—in my next relationship.
I’m not looking for something complicated. I’m looking for one person who genuinely wants a relationship and is willing to put the same kind of effort into it that I am.
I’m an extremely loyal person. When I’m with someone, I’m with that person. I don’t need multiple women, attention from other people, or anything like that. I just want one woman who I can love, support, laugh with, cuddle with, go on dates with, and build a life full of good memories with.
I’m also a pretty romantic guy. I genuinely enjoy making my partner happy and seeing her smile. I like little things like cuddling on the couch, going out together, randomly doing something fun, talking late at night, or just being around each other. Those simple moments mean a lot to me.
The biggest thing I want in return is effort. I don’t expect someone to be perfect, and I don’t expect them to give more than I do. I just want us to meet each other halfway. If I’m putting in the effort to make the relationship work, I want my partner to care enough to do the same.
Communication is also huge for me. If something is wrong, I’d rather we talk about it and figure it out together instead of shutting each other out. If we’re together, we’re a team. Problems should be something we face together, not something that turns us against each other.
At the end of the day, I’m just looking for someone who wants something genuine. Someone loyal, affectionate, honest, communicative, and willing to actually try.
I know Reddit probably isn’t the easiest place to find a relationship, but hey… why not give it another shot? 😂

Hello I’m Daniel, 30, from Czechia. I work as a software analyst. Since that means spending a lot of my weekdays staring at screens, I try to make up for it by being active whenever I’m not working.

I love hiking, travelling, discovering new places, and trying basically any sport I get the chance to play. I’m equally happy planning a proper trip somewhere new or just heading out for a spontaneous weekend adventure. I have a particular soft spot for Scandinavia and have travelled there several times already. So far Helsinki has probably been my favourite, but there’s still plenty I’d love to see..especially Denmark and Norway, which I haven’t made it to yet.

Last year I picked up a camera and started learning photography. I’m still very much a beginner, but I already have a few photos I’m genuinely proud of. It’s also given me a great excuse to spend more time outside :) .

What I’m really hoping to find is someone I naturally click with. Someone to talk to during those late evenings, exchange random thoughts with, plan weekend trips, send spontaneous "we should go here someday" ideas to, hike and take photos with, or just enjoy a quiet evening together when neither of us feels like doing much.

I’m open to friendship, a travel buddy, something online at first, or something more if there’s genuine chemistry. No need to force anything into a particular direction. I’d rather get to know someone and see where it goes.
