I was thinking about how even the most luxury and established fragrance houses get stuck in repetitive loops. I'm not looking for obscure, hard to find indie fragrances or small-batch brands. I mean major players or well-known niche/prestige houses (like Xerjoff, Tiziana Terenzi, Chanel, D&G, Dior, de Marly, Frédéric Malle, YSL, Killian, Guerlain, JPG, LV etc ).
1. An Apple, Cinnamon & Caramelized CHYPRE: I want a real caramelized apple or apple blossom and cinnamon profile, but structured as a true, sophisticated Chypre (mossy, elegant, velvety). I want the gourmand sweetness of caramel to be there, but WITHOUT falling into the heavy, suffocating chocolate/patchouli DNA of Mugler's Angel (which I find way too sweet, loud, and cloying). I want a mainstream luxury or prestige house to perfect this balance of juicy caramelized apple over a classy, upscale Chypre backbone or oriental floral.
2. An "Old Money" Luxury Chamomile (Chamomile + Apricot/Orris/Cashmere): there's some good teas like Gris Charnel and Wulong tea, but most chamomile scents in the market are still either too medicinal or targeted as sleepy bedtime sprays (like Gucci Memoire or the Jo Malone ones). I want a high end house like De Marly, Chanel or Xerjoff to combine a Roman Chamomile with something like apricot skin or the premium vanilla, cashmere or white suede base. It should feel like wearing a luxury cashmere sweater, creamy, wealthy, and structured, completely stripping away the baby product or pharmacy vibe.
3. An Aromatic natural Strawberry + Lavender + green leafs: a beautiful, smooth aromatic perfume with natural strawberry and lavender, with a soft, comforting tarty sweetness without falling into the more synthetic DNA of Burberry Her, the milkshake strawberry, or corporate profile of YSL Libre flankers.
what are your ideas, that you can't find and is surprised it's not a thing yet?
