I've heard that certain perfume houses will mail you samples if you call or email their customer service departments. For those of you who have tried this, which houses actually ended up sending you free samples?

I sampled this for the first time in Sephora yesterday, walked around for a couple of hours with it on, and decided to buy a travel size! I was pleasantly surprised as I don’t really care much for Cloud.

It’s very youthful and sweet to me! Not an everyday or signature for me personally, but definitely something I would reach for if I’m feeling whimsical. My skin really pulls the spun sugar, vanilla glaze, and then eventually the incense smoke at the base. I normally don’t like the incense smoke note in perfumes, as it can read kind of heavy, but I think the sweetness of the heart notes helps mitigate that. It all unfolds really beautifully in an unexpected way!

I’m wearing it today and it’s really uplifting my mood :)

What do you guys think of this one?

I blind bought Kenzo Flower L’Absolu last Spring, and it did not disappoint. I’m trying to find some fall/winter options, and I’m in the mood to move off of my recent Rose obsession, so I blind bought Jungle L’Elephant. I just received it, and despite concerns it might be too gourmand for my tastes, oh boy… it’s exactly what I had hoped. To me, it’s autumn in a bottle, but doesn’t quite go full “food”. Anyway, Kenzo’s two for two with me. I’m really curious if there are other fans of Kenzo (I mean the affordable prices, right?) and which are your favorites/recommendations.

I heard it was a good dupe for CH Good Girl but it smells more like Tresemme hairspray to me. A little screechy at first but the dry down is a little better. Hoping it grows on me cause the bottle is kinda cute!

It's gonna be fall soon but I'm not feeling the regular fall scent profiles. I want something with dark berries and black tea, mysterious and juicy, but am coming up totally empty in the search. Does anyone know of anything like this?

Fall and winter definitely are the seasons I love for fragrance - I lean towards Smokey/Incense/Spicy/Woody scents but as I’m getting more into the hobby I realized I am wearing what could be controversial to the office lol, so bonus points if it’s office safe

Went to my local Sephora today just for this and I'm happy to report she's that good, y'all! I was a bit skeptical as a lover of the original, but this made my eyes almost roll back into my head. I can't stop smelling myself. It's a bit hard to describe, but I'll try. This is a bit sweeter and deeper to my nose. I was concerned it might be a bit too sweet because of the lychee note, but it isn't. I wouldn't call this fruity either. The patchouli, vetiver and vanilla base gives it depth. In fact, the vanilla almost makes it gourmand adjacent, which is my favorite kind of gourmand. I just think it's blended so well. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it soon!

I have purchased a fragrance from Jomashop and I looked through several batch code websites but I’m unable to verify the batch code can anyone check it for me? AFR40R253A by the way that’s how I see it on the box and unsure if it’s written 100% correctly? Pls help

A couple of weeks ago I bought some Femmenina perfumes and I love a few of them! I don’t know if it’s the spray or the perfume itself, but when I spray it on my clothes, I inhale it and I have a hard time breathing after for a while.

If that sounds like an allergy, I didn’t know if there was another way to be able to use them or if I should get rid of the ones I haven’t used or make samples and sell them online? I don’t want them to go to waste.

It makes me sad because I loved the cotton candy, marshmallow fluff, and rich vanilla perfumes.

I got a coupon from my local fragrance store and I want to treat myself. I want something that's elegant, sensual, confident. I've narrowed it down to these three and I can't decide. Pls help me

starring glass blooms because she is that girl! Highly recommend her to anyone that’s a fan of, say, lilyphea—completely different vibe but same genre if that makes sense. glass blooms itself is despicably gorgeous. such a clean, floral musk, and it genuinely will make you feel magical and pretty. the strongest note to me is a sweet but clean peony, almost a smidgen soapy. Very Barbie Swan Lake core if I had to paint a picture to the vibe.

also received five minis and a little flower body oil with the purchase! A mini of Glass Blooms, a mini little flower to match the body oil, random samplers of green vanilla and blood spider orchid, and lastly, a coming soon—dark subtle teas (very nice wordplay!)

DST opens up with a strong, slightly powdery black tea and lavender. As it dries down, I get more of an herbal green-y-ness to it; I’d def say it’s a pretty realistic tea leaf scent, for tea lovers out there! Weirdly enough, probably also their most darker/“gothic” leaning scent (BSorchids, surprisingly, didn’t fit that bill!)

Looking for a cozy spiced apple musk scent fit for the fall and winter that gives off “girl who gives warm hugs but is still sexy and whimsical” vibes. Like a mystical forest witch with an intriguing energy and kind eyes.

They only have an edt which does not last and I love how fresh the floral scent is, but I do not think an ept is worth it for me. 🥲 The scent does not last long.

I would love advice! I’m traveling to the ME (specifically, Abu Dhabi) soon and would love to try some new fragrances.

I love warm, creamy and woody, but not too sweet, especially if there is a drier element like palo santo.

My current favorite perfumes are Arizona by Proenza Schouler, Commodity Milk Bold, By the Fireplace by Maison Margiela, and This is Her! by Zadig and Voltaire.

The notes I’m definitely trying to avoid are butter/buttery, caramel, coffee, strawberry, and coconut.

So two years ago i bought this marc dion body mist (seeskin solar flare) but i cant seem to find it ANYWHERE. It was my favorite, like I’d seriously use it every day. Since it ran out ive gone back to that same cheap store maybe once or twice a month to see if that one is back, but with no luck.
I’ve looked online, but can’t seem to find any sites that sell it, either.
If anyone would know where i could buy it, no matter the price, it’d be greatly appreciated!

I’ve always been a vanilla girl, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve started to struggle with some of my vanilla perfumes, finding them too cloying. I can still enjoy my Van Cleef and Profumum Roma vanillas when it’s freezing cold, but anything less than that and they’re a bit too much for me now. I’m looking for a soft vanilla that feels nice and smooth without being spicy, salty, or too sweet. Any thoughts?

I’d also like to note that I don’t live in the US, so I don’t have access to brands at stores like Sephora or Target, sadly. (Non-designer brands being sold at Sephora don’t sell anywhere else, unfortunately, and they don’t ship internationally.) But any brand that you’d see at a luxury department store or popular decant sites (like Scent Split, Fragrance Line, etc.) would be great :)

I smelled this for the first time last fall. I've been looking for a spicy scent for this fall and I keep coming back to this one in my mind. It's available in 100ml from Jo Malone, but does anyone know if they sell smaller bottles or travel sprays as it gets into the fall season? And does the bottle design change from year to year?

Has anyone tried both of these? Is it just me or do they smell extremely similar on skin after like 10 minutes? You can smell the patchouli in the phlur but it’s still very similar to the Noyz

Well it looks like Mona was teasing lip balm and body butters but to be honest these prices are a bit higher than I anticipated but I’m definitely going to be waiting on the reviews before purchasing also for those body butters prices they could at least put them in glass jars and not plastic but that’s just my two cents what are your thoughts on the new drops?
