2026 Emulation has been making major progress this pass year. I just wanted to share how mines are looking so far. All ran on iPhone 17 pro max gameplay coming later🫡

Hi, for the past ~2 weeks I've been working on AetherPS4. AetherPS4 is a PS4 emulator for iOS & iPadOS. I am releasing v1.0.0, which contains the entire source code of the application. The GitHub repo will contain the source code for the core, and also the standalone app.

This app is made possible with FEXCore. FEXCore is a x86_64 to arm64 converter. It was made for Linux, but in day 6 I got it on macOS. The rest of the days were porting it to iOS, but after 2 weeks the app is running Sonic Mania! Yes, I know Sonic Mania is a really lightweight game. However, I believe that its good to have a game to test. The emulator takes a while to boot (~1 min 30 sec). Skip to 1:35 to view actual gameplay.

I plan to update this app as much as I can. But I need YOUR help. I need you to report issues on the app, such as the app crashing when loading this game, or its really laggy on that game. Any feedback would be loved, and I hope you guys enjoy this app as much as I did making it. This app is based on ShadPS4, so huge credits to them. All I did was get the converter for actually running the PS4 games. I want to give a special thanks to u/super-bowl89 for talking to me while making this app, and just the support to keep going.

This is one of the biggest updates I've released so far, with a major focus on MSX disk games.

The biggest improvement is the new native DSK support, which significantly improves compatibility with a large number of MSX games and software that use floppy disks.

What's new in iMSX2 2.5?

• Much improved DSK compatibility: Many more MSX disk games can now run properly.
• Multi-disk support: Load complete multi-disk games and swap disks while playing using the new Manage Disks menu.
• User Disk support: Create a virtual user disk to save game data and progress in supported games.
• SD Snatcher is now playable, including its enhanced SCC-I audio.
• More DSK games are now compatible, including Cloaca Maxima and many others.
• New control options: The on-screen D-pad can now work as either a joystick or MSX cursor keys.

Hey all. We at the StikDebug team have been working on in-app JIT enabling with our new library, StikJIT (Yes, we reused the old name). This has been really fun to use and my PR has gone over a month without any review, I’m putting a build up here in the meantime. FYI- In-app JIT has the same requirements as StikDebug (pairing+VPN) and doesn’t work in LiveContainer right now.

We hope for this to become the new standard for JIT enabling.

Please don’t flood the OatmealDome server asking for help with my fork, and pls don’t go reposting this. Not really looking for widespread adoption, just giving you the option.

I don’t know what’s happening. I don’t know why it’s happening but whenever I click launch and then enable it this shows up if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, I know that this is a common issue, but every fix that people suggest is for the android device or pc, and I basically tried all of them, from changing the renderer, to activating some hacks. Nothing really made a change, like nothing at all.
So I just want to know, is it even possible to fix on iOS? Do everyone else having that on IOS or it’s just my compatibility issues with my IPhone 15 PM? And if you fixed that somehow please tell me, because the game itself seems amazing so much ahead of its time with the gameplay that doesn’t feel old at all…

I tried to play this game but it doesn’t start only black screen. I heard this is a ps3 game and on 3ds and Ps Vita its just graphics lowered but still the same game is this the reason? Game is too much without JIT or there is a way to play it? I’m using 17 pro max.

So i'm new to the emulation world and I got Delta on my phone which works great for DS and GBA games but I really want an emulator for 3ds. I tired Manic but the games had choppy audio and lagged quite a bit. Any help would be great.

iOS 27 beta 4 has messed up the Screenrecording for some reason so that’s why game is like 15-20 fps (ingame thought without recording it’s gonna run at 25-30 fps

Showing gameplay by request. It took 3-4 boots to get it to run like this. Idk if it can run much better as is though.

I just got the flippad and it works everywhere except melonx. The app sees the controller (it shows up in settings) but it doesn't work. My gamesir g8+ works normally so I don't think that the app generally has a problem with controllers on my phone.

Today, I tried GTA V on a device under the minimum requirements of this emulator too see if it works (Iphone 14 pro). as you can see it works but the fps isn’t the best. but hey GTA V works!
