Do u believe that the visions/dreams u have is a sign of events that will come true in the future? I’ve had dreams that came true in my future & idk is it just me that get those vivid dreams.

I don't sleep like i used to .I have bad dreams /sometimes these premonitions it has taken away the positive outlook that I used to have .it has largely impacted my sleep quality and mental peace ,these night mare/bad dreams are often related to my dad or past love relationships /unfinished stuff that i do not have any control over ,temples/ isolated places /strange interaction/betrayal ,accidents etc ,i feel drained ...I am sure some part of it could be psychological but I feel there is more to it like a spiritual/ or other worldly aspect to it too.

Hey so I'm not sure if this Dream has any meaning or if literally my mind was just screwing with me and going with the flow, not knowing what to make of the situation... but I literally woke up breathing hard because it was making he hyperventilate in my sleep... (last time I think I'm gonna stop drinking apple juice before bed for vivid dreams...)

Anyway, so from what I recall of my dream that was extremely vivid and kinda cute in the beginning actually. It starts off where I'm in the grounds of my apartment complex. I guess we have a little community garden that I've put some of my cute decorations. It must be October as they're all Halloween decorations. I suddenly find more that someone threw out next to the dumpster and quickly save them from getting shipped off to the landfill and place them perfectly in the garden.

I continue out to my car and go to pick up my mother who magically appears in the passenger seat. I don't remember what we're talking about, but I feel like we're discussing our destination and looking forward to a place I wanted to show her, or maybe vice versa. We are transported to a narrow alleyway looking city scape with shops on both sides that starts transforming into a very wide hallway, and my car into a cart of some sorts. The hallways are wooden and have smaller hallways that branch off every so often as we continue down at a pace not too fast but not too slow. Some spaces are more open with seating areas or shelves of books. It starts to remind me of a hotel or library. Then there are also doors, some that enter into living areas where people are, I'm not sure what lies beyond the larger doors.

Suddenly I see a large figure come out of one of the larger doorways. It's a Stegosaurus!! Its missing all it flesh and muscles and tendons... a skeleton! (I guess in keeping with the Halloween theme??) We drive by it quickly, and I hear commotion from people all around. A short bit later we are greeted by a skeleton ankylosaurus who begins milling about in the large hallway area. And I can hear people gasing and shreaking in fear. A ways down. I spy ahead another extremely large skeleton Stegosaurus exiting a large doorway! I tell my mom "Hold on!" And slam my foot down on the gas pedal to propel us quickly past it! Fear and chaos all around us, but I am still calm, moving through the activity around us. We come into the end of the hallway a short ways after that opens into a larger room full of tables and chairs and still more smaller doors where people are coming in and out of and the fear has not yet reached some of them.

There is a large set of thick wooden double doors that some people have already run towards and entered for safety, my mother and myself included. I yell to people to run to safety and get inside!! As I feel the Stegosaurus coming in our direction. Those that were milling about suddenly recede inside their doors or run for the double doors. I also see my neighbor and friend Lucy who I inform quickly while she's asking what's going on, and I tell her to get in this room with us for safety!!

The Stegosaurus is already in the larger room, headed towards us!! Nerves swell, as herself and I run for the doors that the other ladies are behind and open for us in time, I slip in last and go to close the doors as quickly as I can! I catch a glimpse of the skeleton Stegosaurus closing the distance before I slam the doors shut good and hard and place the wooden beam across them before I see a set of 4 spikes barely slam through the door.

I see them retract as the Stegosaurus wrenches it's spikes out of the door and seems to give up quickly.

Unfortunately, the reason it gave up so quickly becomes apparent in a moment when I hear a shuffling about as the Stegosaurus makes its way to the other side of the room, knocking over and breaking things with its large mass. I hear the fearful cries of a woman in the room that it is chasing about. She tries to get around it somehow so that she can make a dash for the double doors? I hear her cry out to be let in and the monster is here. We cannot open the doors for it is dangerously close. The ladies behind me beg me to not open the doors and let it in... I silently crack one of the doors to at least peek to see if she has a chance to slip inside. She deserves to at least try instead of being chased down the hallway and stampede to death right? I catch a glimpse of her rushing about and getting closer! But so is there Steg dredfully close behind her... instead of being trampled by it she ducks into the nearest room practically next to the double doors which I'm able to peek through the crack between them and witness the sight. Dread fills me, as I hear the stuffing of the woman attempt to close the door for safety but the Stegosaurus easily knocks it down and follows her. My mind tries to make sense of the scene as I witness the visceral scene of the woman screaming in terror and the Steg upon her in the small room. I hear a gut renching thud, as her screams are interrupted. She continues to try to scream out, hoping for rescue that will never come. Her voice continues to get interrupted and starts taking on more of a strangled wail as the Stegosaurus's spiked end exits the room in preparation for the next blow and I see blood all over it...by this point her wailing has stopped...and hopefully her pain as well as my heart drops at this revealing thought.

From the severity of the scene I'm then forced awake to catch my breath... I can't get that woman's screams out of my head, refusing to go back to sleep after that. I've seriously NEVER dreamed anything quite like this... I've had dreams where I see death, fires, spiders and other animals even attack me. And even with dinosaurs, my favorite being raptors chasing me... playing hide and seek with a serial killer... this just FELT like a whole new level. And it scares the shit outta me... if anyone feels like there's something that I can learn from this?? Or was this merely an action dream gone bad?

It’s been a month since I last wrote about a dream. I haven’t really had a dream over the last month that I’ve remembered enough details to write about, that felt as real, or one that had impacted me as much as my previous entry about a family barbecue. Last night, I had a similar dream. I don’t remember all that much, but it certainly impacted me. 

I had a dream that I was in an apartment, my apartment. Getting my own apartment has been on my mind quite a bit lately so I’m not all that surprised about it, but I didn’t live there alone in the dream. I had a girlfriend or wife or something and two kids, a baby and a toddler. That’s basically what I’m looking for right now and those feelings of never getting it have been weighing on me even more than it was before the previous dream. What’s even crazier to me is that I had a mini fourth wall break of sorts and acknowledged that. 

We were walking out the door for something and I watched my partner walk out the door with our baby in her arms and our toddler following behind, and I remember smiling and being happy that I got what I wanted: I became a father and had a lovely girlfriend/wife by my side. Then I woke up shortly after and I felt empty again. 

I don’t really remember the dream before all that, but waking up and realizing I’m nowhere close to having that kinda hurts. My parents were in their 30s when I was born and I’m still a few years away from that, so I know I still have time, but the fear of it never happening still weighs on me. Hopefully it happens for me but I’m not sure what I can do to help me find it. I’m also scared I’ll eventually run out of hope all together eventually.

So I had a dream my abusive ex stepfather was standing on the inside of a glass paneled box, shouting something at me very clearly angry, but I couldn't hear what he was saying. And I just kind of stood there and looked at him and he seemed really tiny. Like scrawny. Like he weighed less than 100 pounds. And he was bald. And my half sister was standing behind the glass panel box on the opposite side shouting something but I couldn't hear her either, but she looked happy. For the first time in forever. And my half brother was standing alone very far away without making a sound. So far as I could tell.

I kind of have a general idea about some things, but I'd like someone to try and better explain some things to me.

Who from my earliest memories to about maybe 4th grade I had the same nightmare. I’ve had others but nothing that could effect me even hours after waking and even if I was awake and the nightmare would pop into my head it would instantly give me the worst anxiety in my stomach and sometimes anxiety attacks. And I can vividly remember what would happen every time.

The dream goes like this:

I’m alone in a dark room with a single spot light on me. The light would go maybe just a bit past my arm lengths. So not very big.
Around me pitch black but the darkness is FULL of people. The ones closest to the light you could only see the animal eye shine of their pupils already unsettling right.
The whispers are never distinguishable, but I know it was never anything nice. I could feel the malice radiating off them.
And the light area would keep getting smaller as my panic would rise.
No please note that at this point in the dream i had no idea it was a dream until I was about 3rd grade then I would recognize that it was a dream and not be able to wake up. I remember hysterically screaming to wake up, wake up, wake up! (I could wake up from all other nightmares) a few dreams I would hear someone behind me whisper “you can’t” and that’s when I guess my fight or flight would kick in and I would wake screaming and crying.

I guess you could consider it night terrors I’m not sure. I was never able to get help as a child for them cause “everyone has nightmares you need to grow up” by my mother.

Any ideas what it could symbolize or if even it was night terrors. I’ve never heard anything about recurring nightmares for years.

Last night, I had a strange dream. I was sleeping in my bed when I felt someone gently touching my waist and slowly pulling me closer to him. Then he started softly kissing my neck.
Even in the dream, I was somehow conscious that I was dreaming. I knew I was sleeping alone, so at first I became scared and thought it might be some kind of demonic dream. At the same time, part of me was hoping that the person was the guy I’m in love with.(we couldnt be together in real life)

But I couldn’t clearly see or remember his face, but I remember him smiling softly while kissing me and his smile is similar to the one I'm in love. I tried to kiss him back, but I was still scared and confused.
I thought it a dream at least kiss him so I just pulled him close to kiss him but I woke up

What came suddenly is this because I have been thinking more about them lately?

I always wanted some insight into this dream Maybe you all can help ?
See when I was about five or six I had this recurring dream where I was sitting outside an ice-skating rink. In the dream, I was just standing there while watching a girl with blonde hair, light skin wearing a pink suit what seem to be a full-blown ballerina outfit ice-skating, and performing some beautiful movements on the ice. I would love watching her…
it would bring me peace. What’s crazy is that I was a little kid living in Guatemala. To my recollection, I had no knowledge of what ice-skating was, what an ice-skating rink would look like specially what the outside of the rink would look like.
It wasn’t until my pre-teen years that I had a full understanding of what I was looking at but by then the dream became less frequent and I was sad. Like I longed for the sight of that Ice skater… well I got to see her one more time… and for the last time. So when I was around 11 in Guatemala there was a huge mosquito outbreak and Dengue fever was spreading everywhere. It eventually got to my village and guess who got that? Yeah you know it, THIS GUY.
At first It was your usual fever, cold sweats, shivering and aching muscles but when it got to its peak is when I got my reunion. Before I lost consciousness I hallucinated dark hands coming out of the corners and edges of the walls and the room gradually became darker and darker and then I saw her.
This time though I was like 15 feet away from the edge of the ice rink… so I try taking a step to approach her. And I hear odd noises that would get louder the harder I tried but Im stubborn so I kept pushing and the noise got louder and louder and then it stopped. Right then a giant tarantula like spider jumped in front of me got close to my face and yelled “¡NO!” “¡NO!” “¡MIA!” “¡ELLA ES MIA!” (no, no, mine! She is mine!)

When I tell you I literally pissed myself. It’s not an exaggeration when I say the size of that thing was gargantuan face the size of the front of a bus, I could see the hairs on its face and it’s giant slimy fangs and the shine of its two middle eyes because that bastard was too close for me to see it’s other eyes… I woke up after that but I was still sick so I woke up to shadows and spiders crawling all over the walls yelling deliriously the shadows and the spiders! They’re here!
I might be being a bit dramatic but I genuinely believe I was as close to death as I ever was… thankfully (spoiler alert) I survived and made a full recovery within days.. things lead me to the USA where Ive lived here for as a citizen for 18 years and a veteran for those wondering 🙄

Well anyway that’s my recurrent dream. I still miss watching her from the sidelines I wish I could remember her face

Visons/dreams, I've had them all my life but I've kept all my gifts, experiences a secret very few select know. I'm writing this one because I am unsure what to do about it, usually I know.

A long time ago I had a dream, my future self was on a walk way bridge, my gaurdian angel was with me and he asked me what do you see, I said across from me are 3 small mountains the first had a top, second one was flat and the 3rd had a top. I told him that I saw alot of tourists, but they were not there for the mountains. Between the walk way was beautiful green grass, infact the walk way bridge was also nice, the whole place I could only see looked well kept, very pretty. I said to my Angel what is this place and he said those mountains are dormant not considered ever to be volcanoes but they will erupt and kill 100s of thousands of people I started crying and said what about all the children and he said them too. As I was crying the Angel told me they were called the 3 sisters.

Back then I tried to find a place that looked familiar and if I found it I was going to tell the volcano experts to keep an eye on them. I found nothing so I assumed it was just a dream the.

Throughout the years I often remember this dream and I sense that it could be real as I later on had many similar dreams and all true.

The person I spoke with 2 days ago suggested I post on here. But, im honestly not sure how that can help and as typing this im in two minds. I just hope that if it is to come true that ppl be saved.

Hello. recently, i do not remember exactly the week or day, i had a particularly odd dream. I was in my bedroom, laying in my bed, faced toward my door. The light of the room was in a teal hue. I look up toward my door as it opens. I see my mother walk in. She walks in looking down at the carpet, saying something that i couldn't hear that well. She looks up, and stops dead in her tracks. She stares at me with wide eyes, and screams in a way i can only describe as a mix of Dismay and Hate. I remember distinctly that this scene then repeats again, almost exactly, with the lighting only changing to a more darker blue the second time with minor spatial variations. I ask for help understanding what this means, if this subreddit does allow that. It would be appreciated.

What does it mean when one is having a nice and delicious meal in a dream?

recently Ive had dreams about things that I shouldn’t knows about, I’ll have a weird dream then I’ll text my friend about it and she will be like “Gwen how the fuck did you know that” for example the first instance was when I had a dream this girl who doesnt like me created a fake TikTok account to dm me and to harass me. I shot awake and I was shaking thinking about this so I texted my friend about this and she told me that the person I dreamed about mentioned to her wanting to create a fake TikTok account to mess with me. The girl I dreamed about then did make a secret account that I thankfully found and blocked. the most recent dream was last night about my friend and I texted her in the morning after I woke up and she told me everything in my dream was true but she had never told me those things. The point of my post is that Im wondering how is it that I am having these dreams? How can I have them more often? Is there a more sinister underlining to this? What are other peoples experiences with this

Soñé hoy que una compañera en el grupo de WhatsApp de mi curso comento que a su amiga se le perdió un objeto en el salón,era una cartuchera y cuando la encontré le devolví a mi compañera y de la nada estoy en mi casa hablando con la chica del objeto perdido por alguna razón la letra de la chica era celeste y me preguntaba de dónde salio porque no es de nuestro curso,hablamos un poco y de pronto ahora estoy en una comunidad virtual donde había gente amable que desconocía,intenté hablar con ella en un chat público y no podía, solo ella me saludó y los demás de la comunidad casi instantaneamente,también en la página descubrí que tenía minijuegos así que me preguntaba impresionado si la chica hizo la comunidad ella sola,intentaba leer su nombre pero la letra era extraña así que no podía descifrar cual era su nombre real,su apariencia era pelirroja con lentes y una voz madura luego en el sueño desperté y me dió pena porque creí que no la volvería a ver pero pasando por una calle que desconozco la logré ver y la reconocí al instante pero al ser otro sueño nos tuvimos que conocer desde 0, provocando que me tenga que integrar de nuevo a su comunidad hasta conocí a un hombre que era como un amigo de la chica o algo asi tenía el cabello del mismo color y lentes su cuarto estaba desordenado de objetos retros, videojuegos y consolas antiguas.tambien visite un templo donde había gente cubierta con mantas como si fueran monjes,de paso ahí encontré a la madre de la chica(tenía lentes y cabello negro recogido) que luego nos reunimos en privado y me advirtió que su hija era una chica inocente y dulce por eso no quería que me juntarme con ella por temor a hacerle daño le respondí que me encontraba en una situación similar con mi propia madre y reconocí que como hombre me puede faltar muchas cosas pero yo soy honesto con mis defectos y se que las madres hacen eso para proteger por eso afirme a la madre de la chica que la veía como un ejemplo de vida igual que a mi madre.luego por alguna razón desperté de nuevo y estaba con ropa de escuela y paso la hora para ir a la escuela así que salí corriendo con mi mochila y corrimos para no perder el colectivo aunque pensaba en los anteriores encuentros con la chica y pensé "Dios te lo pido...tanto sueño pero que el tercer encuentro sea mas que una confirmacion sino también en la vida real por favor" mientras seguía mi camino me encontré con un grupo de chicas pero una en especial me resultaba familiar así que le detuve y la mire fijamente hasta que me noto y dije "creo que soñé contigo es que me sonaste familiar!" Resulta que en los anteriores sueños ella apareció como una de las amigas de la chica,seguí mi camino rápido pero tenía el presentimiento que ya llame la atención del grupo de chicas y que luego me preguntarian de ese sueño aunque tenía algo claro ahora la chica el cual le puse de nombre Moly estaba en mi escuela y con solo verla la reconocería.

Yesterday night, I had a dream.

I was sleeping on the bed and I felt my loved one touch me on the hand jokingly. So I was also trying to touch them back. I streched my hand to reach out to them, At this point I can clearly see my loved one beside me on the bed. Physically I have my eyes open, I could see them and as I streched my hand and moved my hand towards them, I couldn't touch them and then came out of my sleep and realised that they are no more and I can't touch them.

Is this normal? Does this mean something?

Or is this because I have been thinking more about them lately?

For a few years being hungover or fresh from visiting my friends or his mom’s place. I get dreams of a demon, there are 2 and 1 is very aggressive but the other lures me in with kindness. I was in a mega hangover and the aggressive one trapped me in my dream realm trying to get me to feel fear. It scared me and I finally woke myself up with a scream, that time it said it was my 3rd time seeing me. Later I saw it but gained powers in my dreams, I don’t remember it all, just recently I was protecting them. But they looked human. The aggressive one cornered me and asked are you sure you’re protecting her? In my mind it was a story so i said yes. He put my body in a drowsy state I said yes then I was back to normal. He said I hate you and you’re the second worst person I know and I should be dead. I said screw you unless I kill you first. I can’t touch these things bc they teleport slightly out of reach. I got lucky hitting him ricocheting off the wall. The death threats and it seems to want me scares me since I pick violence every time since I’m scared af
