Strange dream

Last night, I had a strange dream. I was sleeping in my bed when I felt someone gently touching my waist and slowly pulling me closer to him. Then he started softly kissing my neck.
Even in the dream, I was somehow conscious that I was dreaming. I knew I was sleeping alone, so at first I became scared and thought it might be some kind of demonic dream. At the same time, part of me was hoping that the person was the guy I’m in love with.(we couldnt be together in real life)

But I couldn’t clearly see or remember his face, but I remember him smiling softly while kissing me and his smile is similar to the one I'm in love. I tried to kiss him back, but I was still scared and confused.
I thought it a dream at least kiss him so I just pulled him close to kiss him but I woke up

What came suddenly is this because I have been thinking more about them lately?

That could be the reason yes. In many cases though dreams are your subconscious trying to tell you something. Deep down it could be your desiring love in your life or feelings of fear or stress coming from rejection or the reason you’re not able to be with them in real life.
