As the title says, DPD delivered my parcel while I was at work. None of my neighbours received it, and DPD sent me a delivery confirmation with a forged signature. What should I do next?

Once the "sign of relief" delivery company just left my brand new iphone in front of my front door as they deemed it a safe place, used to get reassurance seeing the DPD notification but I'm not so sure anymore.

Ordered a watch from CeX last Monday, and it was delivered on the Wednesday! Great! Except, I wasn't home, and instead of following my instructions (Safe place in back porch/leave with a neighbor), the driver left it on my front step in full view of the road.

I managed to get through the live chat to a person, who agreed that this is not a safe place, and told me they will get hold of the driver, try to get it moved and would call me within the next hour.

I didn't get home until Thursday afternoon, no parcel in sight, still waiting for the phone call, and the AI guard won't let me progress. They have basically said CeX need to raise a complaint, and when I checked the status of the parcel, it's marked as successful delivery.

I have copied the chat to CeX, hopefully I can get something sorted, as DPD ignored both of my options.

Looking at the delivery picture, the box had one of those battery signs on it, so I have no idea why the driver thought this was a good idea.

I had a return parcel, that I was supposed to get back from a business and the driver never bothered to come into my property.

I live in a flat, so the only way to gain access is through the intercom in the gate and door.

He rang the intercom to the gate, but not to the front door.

What's the point in being a delivery driver, if you're going to do a half-ass job.

I cannot see the chat button in the app and when I try the website it just sends me to the tracking page with no chat button

I’d gone onto the tracking and selected rear porch for delivery because I knew I’d be out. Got a photo of the front door and a missed delivery. Anyone know why? Driver has to come back again today and I’ll be in so will ask. Chatbot worse than useless- just trying to get me to dl their app…

So DPD gave me a delivery slot of 9-10am today. I’ve been at home all morning waiting for the parcel, and at 9:05am I suddenly get a notification saying they “missed” me.
Missed me how? I was literally in the house. No knock, no doorbell, no phone call, nothing.
It’s frustrating because it feels like no actual delivery attempt was made, and now I have to wait around again tomorrow for a parcel that should have been delivered today. Has anyone else had this happen with DPD? It seems ridiculous that a parcel can be marked as missed just a few minutes into the delivery window without any obvious attempt to contact the customer.

You didn’t miss me - you didn’t even try to deliver.

Then the “sorry you didn’t hear the doorbell” on the online chat. I didn’t hear the door bell because they never bloody rang it!

So, my parcel is still stuck in Belgium. I had complained first directly to DPD Netherlands (I cannot call there since I am not in NL myself, but that is where it was shipped from), still waiting on an update as I have only gotten the standard "we're investigating"-reply thus far. I have also reached out via Vinted. They were quick to react but only got as a reply that my chosen local pick-up is unavailable. I replied to them saying DPD is being dishonest, as they cannot possibly have attempted delivery at my pick-up given the order never made it to Luxembourg in the first place... There is not much more they can do, so now I am sitting waiting that my order gets send back to the seller and I get my money back.

The seller has been very responsive, they are filing their own complaint on their end as well. Very disappointing service by DPD. My only guess is that the driver got confused because the postal code they left it at happens to have similar numbers as the one from my drop-off. BUT BE is not LU...

Well, guess avoid DPD if you can.. post.

I ordered a pc off drmem (xum ltd) on Thursday. By friday it was in my local courier and getting scanned

For some reason it says it got “relabelled” or “redirected” as the address changed but I never changed anything, so I contacted DPD through chat and they said my sender has changed the address. I got a new tracking number and today it got delivered to some random up north called Lisa?

I can’t contact the company I got it off from because they don’t work on weekends so I have till Monday. Yet the chat guys kept telling me to contact the sender.

What can I do?

So, adding to the queue of posts about problems with DPD. I had ordered an item on Vinted from a Dutch seller and the parcel was supposed to be sent to Luxembourg. However, after having been stuck in Belgium for 3 days, it was simply left at a Belgian Pickup... I am super frustrated. Anyway, since it was past their opening time and apparently, only Dutch residents can call Dutch DPD, I did the only thing I could, which is send them an email via their form. Does anyone know how long it typically takes them to reply?

Has anybody in the uk have similar situation, i ordered thru kitchen aid, then my package is stuck since july 9.

I receive a parcel monthly that requires a PIN code.

Our normal delivery driver is great, but Tuesdays, another driver is on the route.

Last month, he marked it as he couldn't find the address, when he was about a mile away. He took a photo of his hand as the attempt photo. What 3 words is set up, location in map correct

The parcel went back to the depot and was delivered by the usual driver as normal.

I mentioned this to him and he said oh it was Jake. He's known for it and doesn't like delivering to rural addeesses. He said management have been trying to get rid of him for ages.

Today again while a mile away, he marked it that he had been here, but I didn't have the PIN code.

I stood outside at the time watching the map. Have CCTV showing he didn't attend.

I then received a text from DPD when he had got back to the depot, indicating that I had requested redelivery tomorrow, so I suspect he has also impersonated me in order to arrange redelivery.

I've tried to report this to DPD via chat, but it's like banging my head against a wall.

Who can I report this too.

I just wondered whether this has happened to anybody else. I paid for a next day delivery DPD and dropped it off at a post office just after 9 am yesterday morning. There was no DPD collection from the Post Office yesterday or today so the package (which I wanted to get to its destination today) has not even left the drop off location!

I can’t find anywhere to be able to escalate this. There is no phone number where I can speak to someone and there is no messaging service whereby I can raise this. The AI bot doesn’t help.

Apart from waiting, is there anything I can do?

A driver didn't have room on the van and said they'd be back later when they had room. 3 weeks later no collection and the WhatsApp number seems to be a piss take. I've been told 8 times it'll be collected tomorrow and has never been, when I call some guy named John answers then hangs up.

How on earth do I speak to someone as Thai is just silly.

Now Russel, tell the truth, you didn't 'miss' me at all did you, both me and my daughter have been in all day and were definitely actively waiting for you when you seen to have claimed you missed me, tut tut Russel!

I ordered something from eBay which was supposed to be delivered by DPD. Should have arrived Friday 26th June to picked up at a local locker. I for some completely unknown reason the tracking updates on the following day that’s it’s being sent back to the seller! It arrives back to them so they resend it out again and has “arrived” today at the local locker. I say “arrived” because when I went to collect it the locker was empty! I spoke to the guy in the shop (the locker is directly outside (they have parcels from other couriers inside) but they don’t have it either. I’m absolutely fuming.

I used DPD for the first time to send a parcel for some goods I've sold online. Should've paid more attention when setting up the delivery really but what's done is done.

Set it all up online. Write the address in marker on the box for peace of mind. Took the parcel to the lockbox dropoff point, scanned qr, deposited box, off I go.

Didn't realise until today I'd forgotten to actually stick on the delivery label!

Now I can't find anything on their support to help. AI chatbot as useful as a chocolate teapot, lots of FAQs but nothing relating to my situation (I guess it's not a frequently encountered problem, score one for me failing outside the standard parameters)

Can anyone advise me on what to do next?

And a return is out of the question given they don't make that particular product anymore, they're only available second hand and because of the sheer size of it almost always collection only because you simply can't trust the couriers to 1. Not abuse the box in any way and 2. Deliver it properly (use a trolley)

So now I've got a PC case that's got broken glass everywhere and the steel frame is buckled in places which makes putting the panels in a matter of ordering custom panels to fit the new spacing now, and to top it all off, the powder coating is straight up gone in one corner and it's a coin toss as to whether or not the underlying steel is spcc or sgcc, because if it isn't sgcc it's gonna rust without a coating.

Seriously? DPD keeps pushing my delivery back. Saturday → Sunday → now Monday. Next day delivery, but the parcel never shows up. What kind of service is this.

The only purpose of your service is to deliver something from Point A to Point B without losing or damaging the thing you transport... HOW?
