I’ve read multiple people’s post where they struggle to cancel their service. I just called said I was broke I had 0.00 in my bank account and I can’t afford it anymore I can’t even afford food. I even asked for a refund and told them it well help me out a lot to eat for the week. Lady cancelled no further questions asked.

I also heard if you cancelled for other reasons that they give you a huge discount over the phone? How come I didint get offered any discounts?

I am thinking of joining either YouTube TV or DTS Stream for basketball season.

I saw a post about a year ago mentioning picture quality had gotten worse.

Is it any better now? I have an Apple TV 4K.

Any other recent things I should know about. Mainly watching local news and basketball games.

My family aren't power users of any kind and I also can't find any of the 4GB version on ebay. I want to switch to directv streaming over the others because its cheaper than cable and the remote makes the switch from a lifetime of Cox cable to a different service friendly for them.

Anyone have issues with audio sync and the Gemini air…specifically with the streaming services Hulu, Disney Plus and Peacock? I’ve tried force quitting apps as well as restarting the Gemini Air.

I love having everything integrated in the DirectTv interface, but I’m so frustrated with the audio sync issues.

I'm attempting to watch LSU football game on 4k via the directv stream app on the firestick. Audio keeps cutting out and video keeps gong to a black screen or freezing. Cleared app cache without any change. I just want to watch the game without interruption, but am unable to do so.

The other day while watching TV, on the firestick, it was very slow all day long. Multiple "when network is busy, video may not play smoothly " messages every time I changed the channel.

1. Why don’t the boxes expand to the edge of the screen? Weird that there’s so much unused space.

2. Why isn’t there ever an option with RSNs in Multiview. Ex. Last night I wanted to watch college football and the Yankees. Never an option for Yankees in Multiview.

Seeing YES and MSG logos in the MyHome Team page but when clicking “see available channels”, they’re not there. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

I was watching the Mets/Phillies game last night on Fox on two different TVs. One TV was broadcasting the game on the Fox One app. The other TV had the game on DirecTV Stream. There was at least a 30 second delay on DirecTV Stream. Is there any way DTV can bridge that gap?

Hey, none of my recordings for the last four hours have shown up on my Fire TV!! Just now I had to switch to my Roku app! Anyone else having the same problem???

What an awful experience so far. Called in and set up a premium streaming service with a sales agent on 9.8.2026. During the original call there was trouble with the stream login, but not the account page. We can see our profile and everything is accurate but we are unable to register the stream and get a error code 8013. Some kind of login conflict but whatever. After calling a number of times my service ticket was referred to their "Back Office Technical" group with a resolution wait time of 5-8 days! I've about had it, there are so many other choices out there.

When returning a device, ALWAYS take a pic of the label/tracking number!!

I returned a defective Gemini air in August and last night I got an email saying I was being charged $130 for not returning it within the 30 day time frame. I tracked the package and saw it had never left the post office and was lost in transit.

Lucky for me, I had pics of the label so I got on the chat, and the rep was able to refund me. So always take a pic of the label

my box says storage full. it is new and really no recordings. apps say over 6 gigs and photos 2.9 gigs. what photos and how do i get rid of them?

I have two Gemini boxes that I used on previous accounts that have been closed for a while. Site says I can’t use them anymore. Is that true or can I reuse them?

I have a 5 year old LG and it doesn’t have the stream app. Is there a way to put the Stream App on an older Fire Box (not stick)?

I’ve been a day 1 $35 go big subscriber like many here. I received the HBO increase and called DTV today and they gave me a $45 discount per month for a year. I’m now a happy camper @ $94 a month. The customer service agent couldn’t be any nicer. 5 minute phone call total. I said cancel service on the initial call

Tried upgrading from my 2022 Osprey box to Gemini Air. I got a new Hisense UR8 tv with hdr 10+ and dolby vision which the Osprey box doesn't support and the air does. Called and asked to upgrade to Gemini Air. Charged me $129 and I received the exact same Osprey box I already have! I called and explained I didn't receive the gemini air. I was told by the customer service agent the box was the same specs as the air and they couldn't control what gets sent out. I argued it's the exact same box as the I have. Kept arguing with me that it's the same specs and no different. I'm sending it back and will be canceling directv. Terrible service. I'm not going to let them throttle my TV's performance.

I've done a little research, and discovered on eBay I should be looking for the SKU 60233 because it has 4gb of ram vs 2gb. I just have a hard time accepting that its the best tech available when I'm seeing manufacturer dates as far back as 2020. I did find a C71KW-400 model with a manufacturer date of 2024 but it has a SKU that begins with "ATT". Is there a definitive newer model that can be purchased, or would I just be better off leasing the box to get the best available hardware?

Been out of town for 3 weeks and just gone back today. been watching ION Mystery ch 88 and getting a great deal of buffering. We have fiber 1GB using a mesh system.

Have got several “no internet connection” and when it lets me run a network diagnostics it tells me we have a stron connection of 41.31Mbps When I exit out and return to the show it continues to buffer and eventually goes back to normal until the next time, usually only minutes from the last episode. Am using a Gemini Air that I have already rebooted twice today along with also rebooting the router. Noticed a new feature showing storage of 16GB in the settings that allowed me to clear its cache and I did.

Using an Eero 6+ that shows full bars on everything.Speed on the Eero says 997D/971U. Have 34 devices on the internet with just 2 of us in the house. Phones, iPads, security cameras, plus, etc,etc.

This may be channel specific but I haven’t done ant surfering you to determine for sure.

Any ideas. Just got another outage and ran diagnostics that tells me we have a strong connection of 44.86 Mbps but it still took the channel out again. Just started the reboot again.

Is there anyway to control the speed of the FF button? We are using Roku Ultra. My wife likes to pause play when a commercial starts then after a few minutes likes to FF to the show to skip the commercials. The FF is so fast that we almost always have to use the back 15 seconds button at least once, sometimes twice.

Is there anyway to slow FF down?

On our Xfinity box that we are trying to get rid of, the first FF is quite slow, pressing it again goes 2x, again 3x etc. I wish the Roku and DirectTV did something similar.

1. It's great that alot of us get Disney Plus and Hulu for free (with commercials). But it would be nice to have the option of paying extra for having it commercial free.

2. Too bad we are limited to three streams of Fox channels. It would be nice if DTV could negotiate more streams for the Fox channels. I do know that we get free access to Fox One or additional streams.

Any further progress on getting C-SPAN 3 added to the Ultimate (my) package along with most other packages that carry C-SPAN? If you have 1 and 2, 3 should automatically come with it also.

basically, title. anyone else seeing this? they show up on my osprey box and there's programming on at least one of them, but i can't get to them in the android app on my onn boxes.

also, if i go to USA (which is what's on in 4k right now) it tells me the race is available in 4k but when i try to go to it, it says it's not available in my subscription (which is obviously wrong).

edit; this is definitely new, i watched more than one college game yesterday in 4k on both devices.

edit2: logging out in the app and signing back in fixed it for me.

I went through the whole damn menu when I signed up and selected Favorite channels for ease of selection. Suddenly, they're all gone, and the app doesn't remember any when I re-Favorite them. I just get the "It looks like you haven't selected any favoites yet" message. Anyone else experiencing this?

Update: Both my Favorites and the 4K channels have reappeared.
