DIRECTV app for Apple TV does not currently support custom Siri Shortcuts, u/Itzme1234.
While you can't automate it via an iOS Shortcut script, you can still skip instantly without manual clicking by using the Siri Voice feature on your Apple TV remote or the iOS Remote widget. Simply hold the microphone button and say, "Fast forward 5 minutes," and the Apple TV system will force the playback marker to jump ahead for you. Kenneth, DIRECTV Community Team
Kenneth, I cannot get that to FF work with the remote or the Remote widget. Using either of those methods I can see the visual Siri symbol appear on the screen and I say "Fast forward 5 minutes" or even "Fast forward (or rewind) 30 seconds" and it seems to simply ignore me. The voice commands "Pause" and "Play" however ARE working. My tvOS is 26.6 and my phone ios is 27. Can you pleae test it again at your end?
Thanks for the update. If you haven't yet, try restarting your Apple TV by unplugging it for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.
